Receive Rhema ( by Fenny West)

“Go Beyond the Logos to the Rhema;

from what He had said to what is being said,

because the rhema, acted upon,

has a lifting power.

It will lift you from the premise of a promise to a place of realisation and actualisation and manifestation.”

21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ” This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left. Isa 30:21

8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Ps 32:8

The Man Born Blind Healed

6 When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay.
7 And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.
8 Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind said, “Is not this he who sat and begged?”
9 Some said, “This is he.” Others said, “He is like him.” He said, “I am he.”
10 Therefore they said to him, “How were your eyes opened?”
11 He answered and said, “A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed, and I received sight.”John 9:6-11

Lazarus Raised from the Dead

39 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”
40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.
42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.”
43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”
44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.” John11:39-44

Christ Is Preached to an Ethiopian
26 Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert.
27 So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship,
28 was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet.
29 Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and overtake this chariot.”
30 So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?”
31 And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him.
32 The place in the Scripture which he read was this: ” He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; And as a lamb before its shearer is silent, So He opened not His mouth.
33 In His humiliation His justice was taken away, And who will declare His generation? For His life is taken from the earth.”
34 So the eunuch answered Philip and said, “I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?”
35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him.
36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?”
37 Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”
38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him.
39 Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing.
40 But Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through, he preached in all the cities till he came to Caesarea.

A King for Such a Time as This ( by Fenny West)

The Reign of Kings 10

A King for Such a Time as This

Son of God, Redeemed of the Lord,
I have called you to proclaim My Word
With authority, audacity and power, as a king and priest.

Why are you downcast?
Why are you in the Land Lo Debar, when you can eat on the King’s table as one of his sons?
Why have you been shortchanged and for so long?

Why are you famished when there is spring water before you?

It’s time to arise and shake off the sackcloth and ashes and don your royal robe.
It’s time to take your rightful seat amongst champions of Zion.
It’s time use your sling and stone like David to bring down Goliath for good.
It`s time to use your rod to part the Red Sea before you and walk through on dry ground.
It’s time to speak the Word of life to the rock before you and see it deliver its good-spring water, to you.
It’s time to take your mantle, your sceptre and your crown as a king and rule.
It’s time to prove the Nay Sayers wrong.

Decree and it shall stand.
Command and it shall be.
For where the Word of the King is there is power.
Exercise dominion as a king.
Rule and reign as a king.
Subdue as a king.
Take charge as a king.

I have given you Holy Ghost speed; anointed you to outrun Kings on chariots like Elijah of old.
Let Creation see your manifestation.
And there shall be no more limitation
Let creation see the manifestation of a son of God called out of darkness into My brightness.

Good Success is your inheritance. Good success is your domain.
The Kingdom of God suffers violence, but the violent take it by force.

You will milk the breast of Kings.
Foreigners are coming to build your walls. They are coming with their silver and gold.
Your children and Co-labourers and partners shall come from afar. They will be rope-holders and destiny enforcers at your command. They will not rest until they see this house established, this vision brought to fruition.

But you must be at the forefront as the king to cast the vision, writing it and making it plain that they can identify with and buy into as their mission and run with.
You must motivate them to partake in the vision.

Let creation see the manifestation of the King in you, in your ministry, in your finances, in your family, in all you lay your hands to do.

Arise! reign and rule. For this purpose, you were born.

For this purpose, you were separated.

For this purpose, you were ordained and anointed.

You were crucified with Him, buried with Him, raised up with Him, and now sitting with Him, enthroned to reign with Him.

Fear not, neither be you dismayed, for I am your God and your abundant compensation. I will help you. I am your help, your light and might. Cast not away your confidence. I will make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. I will make every crooked place straight. Every valley will be exalted and every mountain will be made a plain. You will not go under for going over. You will tread on high places. And I will give you hidden riches in secret places, yes, even the abundance of the seas. You will lay up gold as dust.

Arise! reign and rule in these end times as a king and a priest of the Most High. Nothing can stop you. You are unconquerable. You are unbeatable. You are indomitable. Nothing shall be impossible to you. Before you speak, I will hear. And whilst you are still speaking I will answer because I have made you a king for such a time as this

Ecclesiastes 8:4
“Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?
Revelation 1:6

Romans 5:17

“For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)”

Revelation 5:10

“And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”

Matthew 11:12
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”
Luke 10:19
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Acts 1:8
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
Matthew 19:26
“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
2 Corinthians 3:18
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
1 John 4:4
“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.”
1 John 5:4
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
Revelation 12:11

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

2 Corinthians 3:5

“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;”

Isaiah 32:1

“Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.”

They wanted another child but this time it was a big challenge. The wife kept miscarrying.

They were advised to go and see their pastor. He spoke words and that was the seal and the deal done. Soon the wife became pregnant and this time it stayed.

However the medical practitioners were not so confident and thought the woman will only deliver by C-section as was the case for their earlier child. The husband stood on the word of God that the deal was done and was not moved by the opinion of the medics.

Their faith was tried when the labour took up to three hours but they remained undaunted and they obtained their prize.

You need to see them in their colours today, giving thanks and dancing for what the Lord has done for them.

Whatever your challenge, He can do it. But you have to take Him at His word and work and walk the word to obtain your promise.

19     ” God is not a man, that He should lie,

Nor a son of man, that He should repent.

Has He said, and will He not do? Num23:19

“With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Matt19:28

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2Cor4:17-18

9       Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?” says the LORD.

” Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?” says your God.

20     He who heeds the word wisely will find good,

And whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he.

Prov15:20

20     My son, give attention to my words;

Incline your ear to my sayings.

21     Do not let them depart from your eyes;

       Keep them in the midst of your heart;

22     For they are life to those who find them,

And health to all their flesh.

23     Keep your heart with all diligence,

For out of it spring the issues of life.

Herod’s Horror Unleashed ( by Fenny West)

Herod’s Horror Unleashed

birth of Jesus3 Leaveing everything in god's hands when you are down to nothing in His time adversity1 God's plan

Herod’s horror unleashed

Terror, tornado seen

Like terrorism scene

Like tsunami unleashed.

He was killing, here and there.

He was brutal and did not care.

He was sad and mad, blood thirsty.

He was deranged, feared mutiny.

He was insecure, wanted a cure.

He was in a fix, wanted quick fix.

Did not care whose ox was gored.

So there was weeping everywhere.

But he could not quench God’s light.

He could not annul God’s plans.

That’s why we walk by faith not sight.

The plans and purpose of God will stand.

God’s plans are the best plans.

No matter where they take you.

Your future is in His hands

And He will take care of you.

So leave the future in His hands

And always follow His commands

And you will land in safety

No doubt about your security.

If He abandoned His majesty

And came down for you

He will do everything for you

Nothing will separate you from Him.

13   Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.”

14   When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt,15 and was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, “Out of Egypt I called My Son.”

16   Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men.17 Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying:

18     ” A voice was heard in Ramah,

       Lamentation, weeping, and great mourning,

       Rachel weeping for her children,

       Refusing to be comforted,

       Because they are no more.”

19   Now when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,20 saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the young Child’s life are dead.”21 Then he arose, took the young Child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel. 21   This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope.

22   Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.

23   They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.

24   ” The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, ” Therefore I hope in Him!”Lam3:21-24

4     Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5     You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

6     Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.

Ps23:4-6

Psalms 103: Praise for the LORD’s MerciesA Psalm of David.

1     Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!

2     Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:

3     Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,

4     Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

5     Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

11   For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;

12   As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.Ps103:

Psalms 107: Book Five: Psalms 107 — 150Thanksgiving to the LORD for His Great Works of Deliverance

1     Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

2     Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,

3     And gathered out of the lands, From the east and from the west, From the north and from the south.

2     And he said: ” I cried out to the LORD because of my affliction, And He answered me. ” Out of the belly of Sheol I cried, And You heard my voice.

3     For You cast me into the deep, Into the heart of the seas, And the floods surrounded me; All Your billows and Your waves passed over me.

4     Then I said, ‘I have been cast out of Your sight; Yet I will look again toward Your holy temple.’

Jonah2:2-4

7     ” When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD; And my prayer went up to You, Into Your holy temple.

8     ” Those who regard worthless idols Forsake their own Mercy.

9     But I will sacrifice to You With the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay what I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.”

10   So the LORD spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

All Things are Ready
Ezekiel 37: The Dry Bones Live
1 The hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.
2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry.
3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.”
4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD!
5 Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.
6 I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the LORD.” ‘ “
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone.
8 Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.
9 Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” ‘ “
10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.
Ezek37:1-10
This prophecy was originally intended for Israel in the diaspora, the fulfilment of which we saw when they gravitated towards their home land from where they had been scattered, culminating in the nation of Israel. It can be applied to us today as we are burdened for lost souls. Jesus said He has many sheep that are not yet in the fold. We are co-workers with God, His hands and feet, His voice on the earth. We need to feel His heart beat for lost souls and respond in evangelism, confidently expecting God to give us a harvest – an increase that will result in His house being filled. Matt22:5, Luke 14:23, 1Cor3:9, Eph2:10, Rom10:9-10, 13-15, Eph5:23-25, Zech10:8-9,
We must prophetically declare the mind and will of God: that He wants people to be saved. We must go and labour in His vineyard. We must persevere no matter how impossible it may look. All things are possible to those who believe. With God all things are possible. A church in Croydon, London, planted in 2000, by another Church from Walthamstow now has planted up over twenty other churches in London and experiencing revival. If they can do it, we too can. We serve the same God. It is the same Spirit- the same power of the Holy Spirit. We must contend for the faith, not rest on our laurels and say we have arrived. We must be hungry for God’s best. We must not make our God small.
” Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
1Cor2:9
We seek God’s face, hear Him and do what He says. We must be ready to spend and be spent for Him. If we pay the price we will obtain the prize.
Scriptures: Matt22:1-10, Luke14:15-23, Matt28:18-20, Rom10:9-10,13-15, Luke15, Act1:8, Acts2: 37-38, Luke4:1,14,18, John3:16,John3:3,5,8, Josh1:3,Ps2:8,Ps24:1, 1Sam18:20,Jer8:20, Matt9:37-38, Zech 4:6;

Let us prophetically declare this word from the Lord.

Sons and daughters

It’s time to appear
Wherever you are.

Sons and daughters
of Kingdom Arena,
It’s time to arise
From the Land of demise,
The Land of Darkness
And of blindness,
And of deadness.

It’s time to come out
Of your nooks and crannies.
Look! The banquet is set,
But your seats are empty.

Take the sceptre
Of deliverance.
Be bold and enter
The Way of Repentance
And the Door of Salvation.

Come, o four Winds of God
Blow on Your Vine Yard
And let there be a bud
Which blossoms and blooms
Till there is no more room.

Come, O four Winds of God,
Blow on the valley of dry bones,
Come and Confirm God’s Word.
Sons and daughters!
It’s time to appear wherever you are.

Sons and Daughters (2)
Sons and daughters

Wherever you are
I call you forth
From the north; from the South;
From the East and from the West.

Hear the hissing and whistling;
Hear the Trumpet of the Good news;
Hear the trumpet and clarion call
Of the Most high God.

Begin to gravitate
to the banqueting table
To your Promised Land
No more delay
No more procrastination
Come into the Way

The table is all set
For the divine sumptuous sup.
but your seats are empty.
Your seats are yawning
Hungry to be filled
While you languish in prison.

Summer is passing by
Yet you are not saved?
Dinner is getting cold
Yet you are famished
empty, malnourished?
What will it take to jolt you
from your indifference?
What will it take wake you up
from slumber, apathy, lukewarm?

This is your Day of salvation.
This is your Day of Deliverance.
This is your Day of Redemption,
The Day of your song and dance.

Come out of your nooks and cranny!
Rise out of the snare of the enemy!
Take the sceptre of deliverance
Rejoice in the Day of your Remembrance.

Take this glorious opportunity
Hear the Voice of the Father
Hear the Voice of the Son
Hear the Voice of the Spirit.

Awake, thou sleepest!
Awake from the dead.

GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

8I will signal them with a whistle
and gather them because I have reclaimed them.
They will be as numerous as they have ever been.
9Although I have scattered them among the nations,
they will remember me even in faraway places.
They will live with their children and then return.

Sometimes when you have been in an arid land, cul de sac or wilderness for so long, it seems over for you, more so when you are old. Some people would have written you off, saying ‘You have past your sell-by date. Get real. give up. But so long as you have not written yourself off you can defy your and bounce back even at old age. Your spell can be broken. Just look to Jesus – the Author and finisher of your faith. It is not over until He says so.

Your spell shall be broken as it was broken for Barbara. This is not limited to your relationships. It could be in your finances or health or ministry. Hang in there! against all hope believe in Hope and keep giving glory until your change comes like Abraham and job.

10 And the LORD restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

11 Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been his acquaintances before, came to him and ate food with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversity that the LORD had brought upon him. Each one gave him a piece of silver and each a ring of gold.

12 Now the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys.

13 He also had seven sons and three daughters.

14 And he called the name of the first Jemimah, the name of the second Keziah, and the name of the third Keren-Happuch.

15 In all the land were found no women so beautiful as the daughters of Job; and their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers.

16 After this Job lived one hundred and forty years, and saw his children and grandchildren for four generations.

17 So Job died, old and full of days. Job42:10-17

John 5: A Man Healed at the Pool of Bethesda

1 After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches.

3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water.

4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.

5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.

6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”

7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”

8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.”

18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”

19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,

21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

Rom4

Genesis 21: Isaac Is Born

1 And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken.

2 For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

3 And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him — whom Sarah bore to him — Isaac.

4 Then Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him.

5 Now Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.

6 And Sarah said, “God has made me laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me.”

7 She also said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.”

9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.

Joseph’s Rise to Power

37 So the advice was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants.

38 And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?”

39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.

40 You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.”

41 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”

42 Then Pharaoh took his signet ring off his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand; and he clothed him in garments of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck.

43 And he had him ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried out before him, “Bow the knee!” So he set him over all the land of Egypt.

44 Pharaoh also said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, and without your consent no man may lift his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.”

Gen41

13 You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come. Ps102:13

It was hopeless for Hannah, Elizabeth , Rachel and Rebekah, Manaoh and his wife but God remembered them. God will remember you too! it was hopeless for Jabez but God turned his table around for good. God will turn your table too. Call on Him. Trust in Him. Hope in the God of Hope. The God who made Barabara smile at 70 will make you smile too. The God who gave laughter (Isaac) to Abraham and Sarah when it seemed hopeless will give you laughter too.

The spell is broken!

Dead Dreams Shall Live!

Dead Dreams Shall Live!

joseph pit test

Dead Dreams Must Live
Not because I say so
But because Jesus says so
Because He is the Resurrection and the Life
He died and rose to give my dead dream life
There is no situation that is hopeless with Him
With God all things, yes, ALL things are possible
Lazarus was dead for four days and now stank
Jesus Christ of Nazareth, arrived on the scene
An turned the hopeless situation around
Roll away the stone!
Lazarus, come forth!
And Lazarus came forth.
And even when he had risen
the grave clothes contained him
Jesus then gave the command,
‘Loose him and let him go!’
He was loosed, set free
Completely, unfettered.
By the resurrection power
By the anointing that breaks yokes
By the power of the Holy Ghost
And because Jesus Christ remains
the same, Yesterday, Today and Forever
My dead dreams today will live!
He triumphed over death and Hades
He has the final say concerning my dreams.
Because He lives, I will not die but live
To declare the works of the Lord.
Because He lives, my dreams will live.
Joseph had a dream and they hated him for it.

They threw him into the pit sold him into slavery.
He ended up in Potiphar’s house as a servant.
Then he was tempted and despite passing the test,
He was maligned and thrown into the dungeon.

His dream was dead, as it were, but he trusted God,
And kept on interpreting dreams for others.
And in the fullness of time, God remembered Joseph.
He was raised from the dungeon to become the
The key man, the Prime Minister of Egypt
His dead dream was raised from the dead.
Glory be to God who raises dead dreams.
The woman in Shunem had a Son at the set time
According to the word of the Prophet, Elisha.
But one day the boy sneezed and died
Her husband was old, and this was her
Only son, her dream, the Apple of her eyes
She immediately saddled a donkey
And headed for the village of the prophet
The prophet saw her from afar and knew there
Was a problem but he could not tell what it was.
She would not let go of him until he followed her back.
He arrive her home to find the dead dream- the boy.
He agonised in prayer and the boy came alive!
Ha! Dead dream must come alive, in Jesus’ Name.
The widow of Nain had only one son, who died.
Jesus met the burial procession and was compassionate. ‘Put the Casket down,’ He told them, and raised the boy. There was celebraton and jubilation all over that village
The woman with the issue of blood was dead but walking
All her hopes dashed as her condition grew worse.
But Jesus came into town and she dared to believe
In the resurrection of her hopes for total deliverance.
Despite the throng of people that discouraged her
She refused to yield but pressed through to touch Jesus.
And with the touch of faith the blood issue dried up.
Her dead dream was raised from the dead, Glory!
For thirty eight years he waited and waited and waited
At the pool of Bethesda, hoping to have a chance
To get first into the pool when the angel stirred the water.
But he was disappointed again and again. His dream died.
Then Jesus showed up one day and raised his dream.
Ezekiel was in the Valley of dry bones surrounded by deadness.

Then God asked him, Son of man, shall these bones live?

Ezekiel was smart and answered, ‘Lord, Thou knowest.’
God commanded him to prophesy to the bones to come to their bones. He prophesied for flesh, sinews and muscle to come on the bones. All these happened just like he prophesied,
but their was no life in the bodies. God commanded him to prophesy to the four winds. He did and breath came into the dead bodies and there arose a mighty army,
to the Glory of God. Dead dream lived.
The God who did all these remains the same.
He said ,’I am the Lord, I change not.’
‘Behold I am the Lord God of all flesh
Is there anything too hard for me?’
Jesus said, ‘Behold, I am He that was dead.
But now I am alive and alive forevermore.’
He said I am the resurrection and the life.
He who believes in me though he was dead
Yet shall he live;

so my dead dream will live!
So is your dream dead?
Has your vision vanished?
Even though you have believed
In the Resurrection and the Life?
Bring it to Jesus. Tell Him how it is.
Believe that He is compassionate.
Believe that He has the power.
Reach out and touch Him
With the touch of faith.
And your dream will live!
Say this with me:
My dream will live
Because Jesus is alive!
He is the resurrection and the life.
My God is able to do exceeding
Abundantly, more than I can ask or dream
For eye has not seen, ear has not heard
neither has it entered the heart of man
What God has in store for those who love Him.

The Resurrection
1On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7’The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ” 8Then they remembered his words.
9When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others. 10It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the others with them who told this to the apostles. 11But they did not believe the women, because their words seemed to them like nonsense. 12Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. Bending over, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves, and he went away, wondering to himself what had happened.

John 11:16-18 (New International Version)
16Then Thomas (called Didymus) said to the rest of the disciples, “Let us also go, that we may die with him.”
Jesus Comforts the Sisters
17On his arrival, Jesus found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days. 18Bethany was less than two miles[a] from Jerusalem,

37But some of them said, “Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man have kept this man from dying?”
Jesus Raises Lazarus From the Dead
38Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 39″Take away the stone,” he said.
“But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.”

John 11:42-44 (New International Version)
42I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”
43When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” 44The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.
Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”
John11:17,18,37-39,42-44

Joseph
23 So when Joseph came to his brothers, they stripped him of his robe—the richly ornamented robe he was wearing- 24 and they took him and threw him into the cistern. Now the cistern was empty; there was no water in it.
28 So when the Midianite merchants came by, his brothers pulled Joseph up out of the cistern and sold him for twenty shekels [b] of silver to the Ishmaelites, who took him to Egypt.
16 She kept his cloak beside her until his master came home. 17 Then she told him this story: “That Hebrew slave you brought us came to me to make sport of me. 18 But as soon as I screamed for help, he left his cloak beside me and ran out of the house.”
19 When his master heard the story his wife told him, saying, “This is how your slave treated me,” he burned with anger. 20 Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were confined.

Joseph in Charge of Egypt
41 So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I hereby put you in charge of the whole land of Egypt.” 42 Then Pharaoh took his signet ring from his finger and put it on Joseph’s finger. He dressed him in robes of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck. 43 He had him ride in a chariot as his second-in-command, [c] and men shouted before him, “Make way [d] !” Thus he put him in charge of the whole land of Egypt.
44 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, but without your word no one will lift hand or foot in all Egypt.” 45 Pharaoh gave Joseph the name Zaphenath-Paneah and gave him Asenath daughter of Potiphera, priest of On, [e] to be his wife. And Joseph went throughout the land of Egypt. Gen41

The Shunammite’s Son Restored to Life
8 One day Elisha went to Shunem. And a well-to-do woman was there, who urged him to stay for a meal. So whenever he came by, he stopped there to eat. 9 She said to her husband, “I know that this man who often comes our way is a holy man of God. 10 Let’s make a small room on the roof and put in it a bed and a table, a chair and a lamp for him. Then he can stay there whenever he comes to us.”
11 One day when Elisha came, he went up to his room and lay down there. 12 He said to his servant Gehazi, “Call the Shunammite.” So he called her, and she stood before him. 13 Elisha said to him, “Tell her, ‘You have gone to all this trouble for us. Now what can be done for you? Can we speak on your behalf to the king or the commander of the army?’ ”
She replied, “I have a home among my own people.”
14 “What can be done for her?” Elisha asked.
Gehazi said, “Well, she has no son and her husband is old.”
15 Then Elisha said, “Call her.” So he called her, and she stood in the doorway. 16 “About this time next year,” Elisha said, “you will hold a son in your arms.”
“No, my lord,” she objected. “Don’t mislead your servant, O man of God!”
17 But the woman became pregnant, and the next year about that same time she gave birth to a son, just as Elisha had told her.
18 The child grew, and one day he went out to his father, who was with the reapers. 19 “My head! My head!” he said to his father.
His father told a servant, “Carry him to his mother.” 20 After the servant had lifted him up and carried him to his mother, the boy sat on her lap until noon, and then he died. 21 She went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, then shut the door and went out.
22 She called her husband and said, “Please send me one of the servants and a donkey so I can go to the man of God quickly and return.”
23 “Why go to him today?” he asked. “It’s not the New Moon or the Sabbath.”
“It’s all right,” she said.
24 She saddled the donkey and said to her servant, “Lead on; don’t slow down for me unless I tell you.” 25 So she set out and came to the man of God at Mount Carmel.
When he saw her in the distance, the man of God said to his servant Gehazi, “Look! There’s the Shunammite! 26 Run to meet her and ask her, ‘Are you all right? Is your husband all right? Is your child all right?’ ”
“Everything is all right,” she said.
27 When she reached the man of God at the mountain, she took hold of his feet. Gehazi came over to push her away, but the man of God said, “Leave her alone! She is in bitter distress, but the LORD has hidden it from me and has not told me why.”
28 “Did I ask you for a son, my lord?” she said. “Didn’t I tell you, ‘Don’t raise my hopes’?”
29 Elisha said to Gehazi, “Tuck your cloak into your belt, take my staff in your hand and run. If you meet anyone, do not greet him, and if anyone greets you, do not answer. Lay my staff on the boy’s face.”
30 But the child’s mother said, “As surely as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.
31 Gehazi went on ahead and laid the staff on the boy’s face, but there was no sound or response. So Gehazi went back to meet Elisha and told him, “The boy has not awakened.”
32 When Elisha reached the house, there was the boy lying dead on his couch. 33 He went in, shut the door on the two of them and prayed to the LORD. 34 Then he got on the bed and lay upon the boy, mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, hands to hands. As he stretched himself out upon him, the boy’s body grew warm. 35 Elisha turned away and walked back and forth in the room and then got on the bed and stretched out upon him once more. The boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes.
36 Elisha summoned Gehazi and said, “Call the Shunammite.” And he did. When she came, he said, “Take your son.” 37 She came in, fell at his feet and bowed to the ground. Then she took her son and went out.
2Kings 4:8-36
Jesus Raises a Widow’s Son
11Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him. 12As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out—the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. Luke 7:11-12
The Valley of Dry Bones
1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
I said, “O Sovereign LORD, you alone know.”
4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath [a] enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’ ”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.
9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’ ” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army. Ezek 37:1-10
17When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades. Rev1:17-18

Boon and Bounty Awaiting the Barren

Boon and Bounty Awaiting the Barren

The boon and bounty awaiting the barren

Incredible, indescribable, unspeakable

But requiring calm, trust in the face of storm

Requiring passionate, importunate prayer.

Abraham and Sarah were in this difficult place

But at the set time they got laughter- Isaac

Isaac and Rebekah were in this stony place

Isaac prayed with all his heart and twins came.

Jacob was in this desert place with Rachel

He trusted God and Joseph- fruitful bow- came.

Hannah was in the valley of valleys and agonised

God answered her prayer by giving her Samuel.

Her horn was exalted as she smiled at her enemies.

Manoah and his wife were quarantined in this prison

But God had mercy on them and gave them Samson.

Zachariah and Elizabeth were marooned in this land

God turned the table and gave them John the Baptist.

Therefore sing, O barren one

You who has borne no fruit

More shall be the children of the barren

That the woman who has a husband.

Sing, O Desolate

The Lord will not forget you.

Enlarge the place of your dwelling

Spread out spare not

Lengthen your cord and strengthen your stakes.

Trust that you will not rust

The first shall be the last

And the last shall be the first.

30   But Sarai was barren; she had no child.Gen11:30

Be Patient

‘The Patient dog eats the fattest bone.’

2     But Abram said, “Lord GOD, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?”

3     Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!”

4     And behold, the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.”

5     Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”Gen15:1-5

Resist the temptation to help God

‘If you look for a short cut it could cut you short.’

‘A child of the flesh will turn out to be a thorn in your flesh.’

1     Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, had borne him no children. And she had an Egyptian maidservant whose name was Hagar.

2     So Sarai said to Abram, “See now, the LORD has restrained me from bearing children. Please, go in to my maid; perhaps I shall obtain children by her.” And Abram heeded the voice of Sarai.

3     Then Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar her maid, the Egyptian, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan.

4     So he went in to Hagar, and she conceived. And when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress became despised in her eyes.

Gen16:1-4

God has a set time and He is a God of integrity

And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken.

2     For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

3     And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him — whom Sarah bore to him — Isaac.

Gen21:1-3

Prayer works wonders pray for your barren womb to be opened

Expect a double portion for your trouble

21   Now Isaac pleaded with the LORD for his wife, because she was barren; and the LORD granted his plea, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

22   But the children struggled together within her; and she said, “If all is well, why am I like this?” So she went to inquire of the LORD.

23   And the LORD said to her: ” Two nations are in your womb, Two peoples shall be separated from your body; One people shall be stronger than the other, And the older shall serve the younger.”

24   So when her days were fulfilled for her to give birth, indeed there were twins in her womb.

25   And the first came out red. He was like a hairy garment all over; so they called his name Esau.

26   Afterward his brother came out, and his hand took hold of Esau’s heel; so his name was called Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when she bore them.

Gen25

Beautiful but barren

17   Leah’s eyes were delicate, but Rachel was beautiful of form and appearance.

31   When the LORD saw that Leah was unloved, He opened her womb; but Rachel was barren.

Gen29:17,31

1  Now when Rachel saw that she bore Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister, and said to Jacob, “Give me children, or else I die!”

God remembers the barren.

Do not fall into the  trap of blaming others for your barrenness. That is a snare of the enemy.

22        Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb.

23        And she conceived and bore a son, and said, “God has taken away my reproach.”

24        So she called his name Joseph, and said, “The LORD shall add to me another son.”

25        And it came to pass, when Rachel had borne Joseph, that Jacob said to Laban, “Send me away, that I may go to my own place and to my country.

Gen30:1, 22-25

2     Now there was a certain man from Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren and had no children.

3     And the Angel of the LORD appeared to the woman and said to her, “Indeed now, you are barren and have borne no children, but you shall conceive and bear a son. 24       So the woman bore a son and called his name Samson; and the child grew, and the LORD blessed him.

Judges13:2-3,24

Hannah was passionate and importunate and God heard her prayers

You may face ridicule because you are barren.

You may be disdained because you are barren.

Some people may misunderstand you and misinterpret you plight. Never mind. Trust God to turn your table.

Be wise. Keep your eyes on the Lord. Do not envy those who are fruitful.

Expect a boon and bounty from God.

1     Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim Zophim, of the mountains of Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephraimite.

2     And he had two wives: the name of one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.

19   Then they rose early in the morning and worshiped before the LORD, and returned and came to their house at Ramah. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the LORD remembered her.

20   So it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked for him from the LORD.”

1Sam1:1-2

With God all things are Possible

Your age is no barrier to what God can do. It is not over until He says so.

6     And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

7     But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years.

36   Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren.

37   For with God nothing will be impossible.”

57   Now Elizabeth’s full time came for her to be delivered, and she brought forth a son.

58   When her neighbors and relatives heard how the Lord had shown great mercy to her, they rejoiced with her.

The Shunamite Woman

9     And she said to her husband, “Look now, I know that this is a holy man of God, who passes by us regularly.

10   Please, let us make a small upper room on the wall; and let us put a bed for him there, and a table and a chair and a lampstand; so it will be, whenever he comes to us, he can turn in there.”

11   And it happened one day that he came there, and he turned in to the upper room and lay down there.

12   Then he said to Gehazi his servant, “Call this Shunammite woman.” When he had called her, she stood before him.

13   And he said to him, “Say now to her, ‘Look, you have been concerned for us with all this care. What can I do for you? Do you want me to speak on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army?’ ” She answered, “I dwell among my own people.”

14   So he said, “What then is to be done for her?” And Gehazi answered, “Actually, she has no son, and her husband is old.”

15   So he said, “Call her.” When he had called her, she stood in the doorway.

16   Then he said, “About this time next year you shall embrace a son.” And she said, “No, my lord. Man of God, do not lie to your maidservant!”

17   But the woman conceived, and bore a son when the appointed time had come, of which Elisha had told her.

18   And the child grew. Now it happened one day that he went out to his father, to the reapers.

19   And he said to his father, “My head, my head!” So he said to a servant, “Carry him to his mother.”

20   When he had taken him and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died.

21   And she went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, shut the door upon him, and went out.

Who was barren got child from a prophecy but the child died soon after at a tender age. She refuse ‘no for an answer.

Has your vision died before it even lived? Trust God for resurrection.

Feast in the Time of Famine

Feast in the Time of Famine

Look what the Lord has done

Feast in the time of Famine

Rivers in the desert

Way in the wilderness.

What a picture of His works!

For the redeemed of the Lord

For the ransomed, blood-bought

Restoration from the Lord.

I will do something new

Forget the former things

It shall soon spring forth

Rejoice even before you see.

See with the eyes of faith

Prepare for the harvest

The Fields of the Lord are white

But the labourers are few.

18   Then the LORD will be zealous for His land, And pity His people.

19   The LORD will answer and say to His people, ” Behold, I will send you grain and new wine and oil, And you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations.

20   ” But I will remove far from you the northern army, And will drive him away into a barren and desolate land, With his face toward the eastern sea And his back toward the western sea; His stench will come up, And his foul odor will rise, Because he has done monstrous things.”

21   Fear not, O land; Be glad and rejoice, For the LORD has done marvelous things!

22   Do not be afraid, you beasts of the field; For the open pastures are springing up, And the tree bears its fruit; The fig tree and the vine yield their strength.

23   Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the LORD your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you — The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month.

24   The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.

25   ” So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you.

26   You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame.

27   Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the LORD your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.

28   ” And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.

29   And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.

30   ” And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.

31   The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.

32   And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the LORD has said, Among the remnant whom the LORD calls.
