Finish Your Assignment ( by Fenny West)

We Have Over Come the World
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
1 John 4:4
4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—[a]our faith.
1 John 5:4
17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
1 John 5:17
Father, I thank You and praise You for Your goodness and mercy and unfailing love. You are a God of integrity, full of wisdom, splendour and majesty.
“The earth is full of Your beauty, oceans roar Your praise. Mountains stand in ovation, holy God. The skies sing for joy; creation join in chorus, singing unending praise.”
Praise, blessing and glory be You, O Most High.
Thank You for the Greater One Who resides in us. By the power of the Holy Spirit in us, we have overcome our world. We have dominion over our world and we bring it to subjection of Your Word. Only righteous laws which favour the righteous cause of the gospel are passed in this land.
Your Church has a strong voice and clout in the land and Your Word spreads to all nooks and crannies and there is a massive harvest and ingathering in these last days, filling your houses, and our cells. The hunger for Your Word is unprecedented as the knowledge of the glory of God fills our land like waters cover the seas.
We give You glory Lord , because we are born of God, we have overcome our world. And this is the victory that overcomes our world, even our faith. Our faith in You increases in leaps and bound as we remain rooted in Your word and meditate on it day and night, hearing it ceaselessly and feeding on it voraciously. We are being built up daily and obtain our inheritance in Christ. Thank You for the unprecedented success that attend and pertain to us. We walk worthy of You and please You in all we do and remain fruitful in every good work, increasing in Your glory, grace, knowledge, love and faith.
Oh how marvellous that as You are, so are we in this world! You are the light of the world and You also made us the light of this world and called us to shine wherever we go and so shall we shine to bring You glory. Thank You for the glorious opportunity to be Your voice, Your hands and feet as such a time as this. We radiate Your beauty in all our spheres of contact. We extend Your kingdom wherever we go. One of us becomes a thousand and a little one becomes a nation. We are planted in Your house and we flourish in Your courts and remain ever green, fresh and flourishing. We are Your fruitful field that becomes a forest. Every tree of righteousness becomes a forest, in the name of Jesus. Even in our old age, we bring forth fruits which are even more luscious than before, like vintage wine- better with age.
We are blessed to be a blessing to You, our community and our fruits are abundant and go from generous to generation.
Thank You, mighty God, for making us cities on a hill that cannot be hidden. Nations and Kings are coming to the brightness of our rising. Our children are coming from afar. Unbelievers are coming to build our walls. They are coming with their silver and gold, favouring Your righteous cause. We fly Your flag wherever we go causing Your praise to resound and redound and redouble.
We praise You for making us the salt of the earth. We shall sanitise our environment, become the preserving influence and give it divine and supernatural flavour. Because of us our land is favoured and productive, creative and innovative and prosperous.
Thank You for the wisdom in us emanating from You. We belong to You and will continually show forth the praise and glory of He who has called us out of darkness into His marvellous light.
Thank You for making us peculiar people, a chosen generation and royal priesthood, blessing with every spiritual blessing and and accepted in the beloved and loved with a great love.
We give You glory for making us more than conquerors and Your treasured possessions. We bless You, O God, for making us Your righteousness and irreproachable and blameless and celebrated.
Thank You for the new things You do daily in our midst, eclipsing what You have done in times past, giving us pleasant surprises. In deed Your mercies are new every morning and great is Your faithfulness. You make rivers in deserts and You make a road in the wilderness. You are the same, yesterday, today and forever. Blessed be Your matchless, glorious, victorious, powerful, wonderful name above every other name.

WORRY MAKES THINGS WORSE
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7 TLB).
Don’t you just like the fact that as a Christian, you’re not supposed to worry over anything? It takes the stress out of life. Worrying only makes things worse. Recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:27 (TPT); He asked, “So, which one of you by worrying could add anything to your life?” Refuse to worry about your rent. Refuse to worry about your health. Refuse to worry about anything!
Some people believe until they’re worried and flustered, God won’t do anything about their situation. What they don’t know is that worry actually short-circuits the power of God in one’s life. If worrying had any positive effects, God would have said, “Be worried; in fact, be very worried.” But He never said that. Rather, He said, “…forsake your worries! Why would you say, ‘…what will we wear?’ For that is what the unbelievers chase after. Doesn’t your heavenly Father already know the things your bodies require?” (Matthew 6:31-32 TPT).
Worry is a “…fiery dart of the wicked” (Ephesians 6:16); so, when it attacks you, repel it. Use the Word against it. Every day, be resolute that you’re going to practise God’s Word. His Word says, “Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the centre of your life” (Philippians 4:6-7 MSG). Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
I repel worry with God’s Word. I’m anxious for nothing, but in everything, I make my requests known to God, and the peace of God that passes all understanding garrisons my heart and mind. All things are working together for my good; I can never be disadvantaged. Blessed be God!
FURTHER STUDY
Matthew 6:25-34 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, [shall he] not much more [clothe] you, O ye of little faith Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof.
