Receive Rhema ( by Fenny West)

“Go Beyond the Logos to the Rhema;

from what He had said to what is being said,

because the rhema, acted upon,

has a lifting power.

It will lift you from the premise of a promise to a place of realisation and actualisation and manifestation.”

21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ” This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left. Isa 30:21

8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Ps 32:8

The Man Born Blind Healed

6 When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay.
7 And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.
8 Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind said, “Is not this he who sat and begged?”
9 Some said, “This is he.” Others said, “He is like him.” He said, “I am he.”
10 Therefore they said to him, “How were your eyes opened?”
11 He answered and said, “A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed, and I received sight.”John 9:6-11

Lazarus Raised from the Dead

39 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”
40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.
42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.”
43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”
44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.” John11:39-44

Christ Is Preached to an Ethiopian
26 Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert.
27 So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship,
28 was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet.
29 Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and overtake this chariot.”
30 So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?”
31 And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him.
32 The place in the Scripture which he read was this: ” He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; And as a lamb before its shearer is silent, So He opened not His mouth.
33 In His humiliation His justice was taken away, And who will declare His generation? For His life is taken from the earth.”
34 So the eunuch answered Philip and said, “I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?”
35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him.
36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?”
37 Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”
38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him.
39 Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing.
40 But Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through, he preached in all the cities till he came to Caesarea.

Divine Direction is God’s Intension

Divine Direction Is God’s intension

For maturation

Before promotion.

It’s not an easy road.

It’s a narrow road.

It’s not a broad road.

But it’s the right road.

On this road comes temptation.

But it’s for your edification

And eventual elevation.

On this road comes the lion and the bear.

But you must stay put and forbear.

You must know that God is always there,

And that He always cares.

On this road come trials

But they are for your ultimate triumph.

Know that the tests are for triggering testimonies.

Know that the barriers are there to birth blessings.

Therefore use your faith to mount up to surmount.

See through the eyes of God.

Regardless of the hurdles,

All things are possible.

You can leap over walls

And run through troops

By the power of the Spirit.

So stay on course.

Don’t say you are cursed.

Christ took your curse.

Stay and finish the course.

Know there is a cause.

Refuse distraction.

You’re under reconstruction.

You are a New Creation.

You’re being built up

For God’s glorification.

The Wilderness Way

17 Then it came to pass , when Pharaoh had let the people go , that God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines , although that was near; for God said , “Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war , and return to Egypt.” 18 So God led the people around by way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. And the children of Israel went up in orderly ranks out of the land of Egypt. Ex13:17-18

LEARN TO BE LEAD BY GOD’S SPIRIT

LEARN TO BE LEAD BY GOD’S SPIRIT

‘…Let us keep in step with the Spirit.’ GALATIANS 5:25

If the Christian life is about having a personal relationship with God, then God must still speak to us today. But a relationship can’t be built on one-way speeches. First, it requires commitment. Then it requires communication between two people in which each speaks and listens to the other. ‘You…are controlled…by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you…’ (Romans 8:9 NIV). That means having Spirit-controlled responses, and making Spirit-led decisions. When you follow God life no longer consists only of that which can be seen, felt or figured out. It includes walking by faith, trusting Him, learning to know His voice and the leadings of His Spirit. Some of us are reluctant to do that because we’ve seen people who claim to be doing it and their approach scares us. So when we sense the Spirit’s leading we doubt it, analyse it, conclude it isn’t logical and don’t pay attention to it. Some of us want to obey the Spirit, but we’re not sure we know that He’s really speaking to us. We wonder, ‘Is this God’s voice or my own desires?’ We’ve all experienced this; it’s a normal part of the Christian life. This is why Paul writes, ‘Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.’ (Galatians 5:25 NIV) Spiritual guidance is learned-one step at a time. Even the most mature believer will stumble and get it wrong at times. No problem: ‘The Lord delights in a man’s way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand’ (Psalms 37:23-24 NIV).

Who is On Board With You ?

Word for Today ( Bob Gas)

‘…I believe God will do exactly what he told me…‘ Acts 27:25

Robert Schuller was on a cruise ship in the Coral Sea when the captain announced they were about to navigate a very narrow and dangerous crevice. They needed at least thirty feet of water to get through and avoid running aground. Just then a small motorboat approached and on deck was a captain from Australia. As he boarded the big ship, the crew saluted and stepped aside to let him take the helm. This man specialised in maneuvering big ships through small spaces, and because of his expertise they made it through without a problem. There’s an important lesson here. Before you get caught in life’s storms, make sure Jesus is at the helm, and that you know who your traveling companions are. In the midst of a gale that threatened to sink their ship, Paul stood up and announced, ‘Take heart. I believe God will do exactly what he told me.’ Paul had confidence because he knew who the real Captain was that day. He never doubted for a moment that God would honour His promise to save him, and everyone on board. When you go through storms that shake your faith you need people who know what the Word of God says, people who believe that God will ‘do exactly’ what He said no matter how bad the circumstances look. Such friends are few and far between, and they’re precious. If you have one or two of them in your life today you’re blessed, so thank God for them.
