Will ye also go away? ( by Charles Spurgeon)
John 6:67
Will ye also go away?
Many have forsaken Christ, and have walked no more with Him; but what reason have YOU to make a change? Has there been any reason for it in the past? Has not Jesus proved Himself all-sufficient? He appeals to you this morning-“Have I been a wilderness unto you?” When your soul has simply trusted Jesus, have you ever been confounded? Have you not up till now found your Lord to be a compassionate and generous friend to you, and has not simple faith in Him given you all the peace your spirit could desire? Can you so much as dream of a better friend than He has been to you? Then change not the old and tried for new and false. As for the present, can that compel you to leave Christ? When we are hard beset with this world, or with the severer trials within the Church, we find it a most blessed thing to pillow our head upon the bosom of our Saviour. This is the joy we have to-day that we are saved in Him; and if this joy be satisfying, wherefore should we think of changing? Who barters gold for dross? We will not fo rswear the sun till we find a better light, nor leave our Lord until a brighter lover shall appear; and, since this can never be, we will hold Him with a grasp immortal, and bind His name as a seal upon our arm. As for the future, can you suggest anything which can arise that shall render it necessary for you to mutiny, or desert the old flag to serve under another captain? We think not. If life be long-He changes not. If we are poor, what better than to have Christ who can make us rich? When we are sick, what more do we want than Jesus to make our bed in our sickness? When we die, is it not written that “neither death, nor life, nor things present, nor things to come, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord!” We say with Peter, “Lord, to whom shall we go?”

10 And the LORD restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.
11 Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been his acquaintances before, came to him and ate food with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversity that the LORD had brought upon him. Each one gave him a piece of silver and each a ring of gold.
12 Now the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys.
13 He also had seven sons and three daughters.
14 And he called the name of the first Jemimah, the name of the second Keziah, and the name of the third Keren-Happuch.
15 In all the land were found no women so beautiful as the daughters of Job; and their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers.
16 After this Job lived one hundred and forty years, and saw his children and grandchildren for four generations.
17 So Job died, old and full of days. Job42:10-17
John 5: A Man Healed at the Pool of Bethesda
1 After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches.
3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water.
4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.
5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”
8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.”
18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”
19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.
20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,
21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
Rom4
Genesis 21: Isaac Is Born
1 And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken.
2 For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
3 And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him — whom Sarah bore to him — Isaac.
4 Then Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him.
5 Now Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.
6 And Sarah said, “God has made me laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me.”
7 She also said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.”
9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.
Joseph’s Rise to Power
37 So the advice was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants.
38 And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?”
39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.
40 You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.”
41 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”
42 Then Pharaoh took his signet ring off his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand; and he clothed him in garments of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck.
43 And he had him ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried out before him, “Bow the knee!” So he set him over all the land of Egypt.
44 Pharaoh also said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, and without your consent no man may lift his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.”
Gen41
13 You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come. Ps102:13
It was hopeless for Hannah, Elizabeth , Rachel and Rebekah, Manaoh and his wife but God remembered them. God will remember you too! it was hopeless for Jabez but God turned his table around for good. God will turn your table too. Call on Him. Trust in Him. Hope in the God of Hope. The God who made Barabara smile at 70 will make you smile too. The God who gave laughter (Isaac) to Abraham and Sarah when it seemed hopeless will give you laughter too.
The spell is broken!
Dancing in the Rain ( Fenny West)
Dancing in the rain
Is the thing to do
Knowing I will reign
At the proper time
My God is faithful
And He is able
He is merciful
To open great doors.
And what He opens
Tell me who can shut
Heaven will open
And His smile I’ll see.
The storm will be calmed
And then I will stand
Tall and strong like Paul
All to God’s glory.
11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Ro8:11
14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
2Co2:14
God’s Everlasting Love
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.
34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written: ” For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Ro8:31-39

Divine Direction Brings Bumper Dividends (by Fenny West)
Divine Direction Brings Bumper Dividends
“A girl that is faithful to the Church with a bump on the back was going to marry a brother of the Church. People made fun of him telling him, with all the beautiful girls that is in this church is that which thou sawest to marry? A girl with a bump?
The brother replied I love it and also God told me clearly that she is the woman of my life.
And they married, and after 3 years brother that was nothing, had nothing and lived in poverty began to prosper in business and he teamed up with his wife and they became rich and prospered in their business, everything they touched turned into gold, they bought cars and houses.
Some time ago his wife fell pregnant and they went for an ultrasound and was told that she was pregnant with triplets. When time of birth arrived, the doctor and the wise women were doing their job by telling the woman to push and the first, the second and third babies came out.
While she was ready to rest, the doctor told her he had another in the belly so it should continue to push, while she did a round thing came out of her stomach, the doctor examined it and discovered that it was hump.
She straightened and could now stand up normally, there’s a loud noise throughout the hospital people gloated on all sides and gave glory to God.
When she went to the church people who laughed at her were all silent, they were shocked by the huge miracle that God did in her life.
1] a miracle of finance
2] a miracle breakthrough
3] a miracle of birth without caesarean section.
4] a miracle of three bouncing baby boys
5], a miracle of healing of her bump.
6] A miracle which made silence all those who laughed at them.
Our God is wonderful!
This is why I pray for someone today click LIKE/SHARE and write Amen, in the year 2013, God will make you a living miracle, and in the same way that He has silenced the mockers of this couple, those who laugh at you will fall silent, thou shalt be blessed on behalf of Jesus Christ!”
After reading this incredible story on Facebook, I was so stirred and elated that this message came, confirming a message I preached not long ago.
What is your current situation that has made you laughing stock, even though you are a believer and love the Lord with all your heart? You pay day will come like the testimony you have just read. God is no respecter of persons.
Are you like Hannah? Those around you are popping children left right and centre but you remain barren? Your husband does not even understand your pain. He things the good things he buys for you or the money he gives you should suffice. But you know where the shoe is biting you.
Or are you like Sarah? You have waited many years for the promise but it has eluded you and so you decided to help yourself. Wait for your Isaac. Don’t go for Ishmael. Ishmael will be a thorn in your flesh. He will bring heartache.
Pray and fast with all your heart. Hannah did and God gave her Samuel- a great prophet of God. God also had mercy on Rachel and gave her Joseph- the beautiful fruitful bow. Elizabeth was also barren and was old but God gave her John the Baptist-the forerunner of Jesus Christ. Rebekah was barren too but God heard her prayers and gave her a double portion.
Sarah was Barren
30 But Sarai was barren; she had no child. Gen11:30
Sarah blundered
Genesis 16: Hagar and Ishmael
1 Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, had borne him no children. And she had an Egyptian maidservant whose name was Hagar.
2 So Sarai said to Abram, “See now, the LORD has restrained me from bearing children. Please, go in to my maid; perhaps I shall obtain children by her.” And Abram heeded the voice of Sarai.
3 Then Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar her maid, the Egyptian, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan.
4 So he went in to Hagar, and she conceived. And when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress became despised in her eyes.
Barren Sarah believed and had her Boon
17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed — God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;
18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”
19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

7 She also said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.Gen22:1-7
Barren Rachel Had Her Boon
Genesis 30:
1 Now when Rachel saw that she bore Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister, and said to Jacob, “Give me children, or else I die!”
2 And Jacob’s anger was aroused against Rachel, and he said, “Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”
22 Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb.
23 And she conceived and bore a son, and said, “God has taken away my reproach.”
24 So she called his name Joseph, and said, “The LORD shall add to me another son.” Gen30:1-2,22-24
Barren Rebekah had her Boon
21 Now Isaac pleaded with the LORD for his wife, because she was barren; and the LORD granted his plea, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
22 But the children struggled together within her; and she said, “If all is well, why am I like this?” So she went to inquire of the LORD.
23 And the LORD said to her: ” Two nations are in your womb, Two peoples shall be separated from your body; One people shall be stronger than the other, And the older shall serve the younger.”
24 So when her days were fulfilled for her to give birth, indeed there were twins in her womb.
Gen25:21-24
Hannah was barren and her mate made fun of her
2 And he had two wives: the name of one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.
5 But to Hannah he would give a double portion, for he loved Hannah, although the LORD had closed her womb.
6 And her rival also provoked her severely, to make her miserable, because the LORD had closed her womb.
7 So it was, year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, that she provoked her; therefore she wept and did not eat. 1Sam1:2-7
But Hannah prayed with passion and prevailed
15 But Hannah answered and said, “No, my lord, I am a woman of sorrowful spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor intoxicating drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.
Samuel Is Born and Dedicated
19 Then they rose early in the morning and worshiped before the LORD, and returned and came to their house at Ramah. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the LORD remembered her.
20 So it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked for him from the LORD.”
21 Now the man Elkanah and all his house went up to offer to the LORD the yearly sacrifice and his vow.
22 But Hannah did not go up, for she said to her husband, “Not until the child is weaned; then I will take him, that he may appear before the LORD and remain there forever.”
1Sam1:19-22
Elizabeth was barren
John’s Birth Announced to Zacharias
5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.
6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
7 But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years.
13 But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.
14 And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth.
15 For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb.
16 And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God.
17 He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
36 Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren.
37 For with God nothing will be impossible.”
Birth of John the Baptist
57 Now Elizabeth’s full time came for her to be delivered, and she brought forth a son.
58 When her neighbors and relatives heard how the Lord had shown great mercy to her, they rejoiced with her. Luke1
You too can have your boon in your ministry, career, relationship or any other business or matter if you stay focused- looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of your faith.
The Boon Awaiting the Barren is a message recorded and will be available to you for your support of the Lord’s work.
