Blessing On Obedience ( by Fenny West)

Blessings on Obedience

I Am a Hearer and Doer

Deut 28:1-14

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; James 1:22-23

Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.  Ps1:1-3

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

28 “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:

“Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.

“Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.

“Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.

“Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

“The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.

“The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

“The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways. 10 Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you. 11 And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. 12 The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. 13 And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them. 14 So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

Isa60

Heavenly Father,

I thank You for the privilege to hear Your Word, meditate on Your Word and to cherish its wisdom. Truly Your Word is spirit and life and it is the truth, dynamic, living, powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword.  Indeed the entrance of Your word brings light and life. I hear Your word to do it, to put it to work in my life. I work out Your word daily in all my affairs. Thank You, King of Glory, that You confirm Your Word with signs following.

As I hear and do Your Word, nothing shall be impossible to me. Every limitation is removed from my path. I go from strength to strength and from glory to glory as an heir of God and joint-heir with Christ. Abundant life is mine. Wherever I go I shine as your beacon, glorifying You in all I do.  I am a Solution Centre in my community, nation and generation. I leave and indelible mark to Your glory wherever I go. I blow Your trumpet and fly Your flag.

Thank You Lord, for blessing me to be a blessing. I am Your conduit for blessing. And as I bless others, I have multiplied harvest. I am like a palm tree with multiplicity of uses. My river does not run dry. I am like a tree planted by the rivers of water that yields its fruit in due season. Whatever I do prospers.

I will enlarge the place of my dwelling, stretch out, take risks, trusting in You to guide my business and investment decisions. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. You will guide me with your eyes and instruct me in the way I should go. I will hear a voice saying to me, “This is the way, walk in it.”

Thank You, King of Kings, that You have made me a trend-setter, Market Leader, innovator and inventor. You have opened my eyes to see beyond the natural. I see hidden riches in secret places and treasure of darkness are mine.

Thank You for giving me Your good treasure and making me the head and not the tail, a lender and not a borrower. As light of the world, I shine wherever I go. I give direction and illumination and beauty in my world, reflecting You. As a city on a hill, I stand out for good reasons. As salt of the earth, I am a preservative and medicinal to my environment. Truly, men will see my good works and give You glory, honour and praise.

Those come against me in one way, will flee in seven ways because You are my Rock, my Fortress, my Shield, Shelter and Shepherd. Thank You for your angels round about me, on assignment on my behalf.

I give glory, honour and praise for Your goodness, faithfulness and loving-kindness and presence, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Decreeing As Kings ( by Fenny West)

Decreeing As Kings

Thanks be to God, who has qualified us to reign in life as kings through Christ. We exercise our authority and make decrees in line with the plans purpose of almighty God.

Only the will of God shall prevail in our time. Principalities and powers shall cower while we tower and soar. What we decree stands and what we command comes into being. All authority in heaven and on earth belong to Jesus, who delegated it to us.

We are more than conquerors. We fear no evil because God is with us, in us and for us.

We put on the whole armour of God:

Helmet of salvation-to protect our minds from every sinister and negative suggestions of the enemy.

We thank God for the Belt of Truth with which we expose all the lies and stratagems and fronts of the enemy. We are not ignorant of the devices of the enemy. The devil is a liar and father of lies. But “Thy Word is truth. And ye shall know to the truth. And to the truth shall make you free.”

We thank You, O God for the shield of faith with which to quench, extinguish every flaming arrows of the enemy. The just shall live by faith and not by sight. We look not at the things that are seen but that which is not seen, assured that the things which are seen are temporary, transient and ephemeral, but the things which are unseen are eternal.

We put on the Shoes of the Gospel, with firm footed readiness to trumpet the Good news of the Gospel. Salvation belongs to the Lord. The God we serve is a faithful, powerful, awesome, dependable God. He can be trusted to keep against that day, that which is committed into His powerful, more than able hands.

We don the robe of righteousness, because we are the righteousness of God in Christ. There is therefore no more condemnation on us. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set us free from the law of sin and death. We have passed from death to life.

We have the life of God-Zoe -in us.

We Wield the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. We cut down every demonic tree that the enemy has planted. Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. If God be for us, who can be against us. No weapon fashioned against us shall prosper. When the enemy comes like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will raise a standard against him.

Jesus Christ disarmed principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them through the cross. We reign in this life through Him. Christ in us our hope of glory. What we bind on earth is bound in heaven and what we loose on earth is loosed in heaven.

Where the word of the king is there is power. We command principalities to comply immediately to the plans and purposes of God. The gospel shall have free course and wicked and unreasonable men are put in their proper place- under our feet, in Jesus mighty and matchless name. Amen.

Gospel CHEERS (1) (Saviour Shall Come) by (Fenny West)

Gospel CHEERS (1) Wipe the Corona tears with some gospel cheers

Saviour Shall Come

21 And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the Lord’s. Obadiah1:21

We are blessed to be a blessing, like Abraham (Gen12:2). God knows why we are here at such a time as this when the world is going through such turbulence, uncertainty, fear and desperation. Esther realised she was raised for the time she found herself and rose up to the challenge, stepped up to the plate and saved her nation who were under a threat of annihilation. We are in similar times and even more serious as the whole world is under siege. (Esther 4:14)

Nehemiah also stood in the gap for his nation and God used him to rebuild the nation in disrepair and despair. ( Neh1-6)

We need to be encouraged and be confident that He has prepared us for these desperate end-times. This is a time for us to shine like never before. It is not by might, nor by power but by His Spirit Who dwells in us. ( Zach 4:6)

In Isaiah 60:1-2, He enjoined us to “Arise, shine!” Because our light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon us. He said there will be gross darkness in the land, but the darker the night, the brighter we will shine.

God wants us to be saviours in our cities, communities, villages and nations especially in these times of fear, depression, death and destruction. We must bring hope amidst seeming hopelessness. Let us remember Abraham who against hope believed in Hope. He interceded for Lot and saved him. (Gen18:22-19:29)

Despite the deadness of Sarah’s womb and his age (99), he refused to stagger in unbelief, but gave glory to God. He must have affirmed, built up and complemented Sarah, “Honey you are looking wonderful, youthful and endearing!”
She may have found it difficult to believe, she still had the hope to conceive at 89, but he kept on building her up until she believed it and became pregnant and gave birth to Isaac. ( Rom4:20-21,Gen21:1-7)
Similarly, we have been called for such a time as this to bring hope amidst hopelessness in our communities, cities and nation. Let’s bring some good news cheer in the midst of the CONVID19 gloom and doom, death and destruction occasioned on innocent lives, livelihood and businesses. Children cannot play as usual, everybody is a suspect, “Does he have it?” Does she have it? “

Nevertheless, we are the light of the world. Let’s let our lights so shine that men see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven. We are the salt of the earth. Let’s spread a flavour and savour of goodness and good news. (Matt5:13-16)

Some are looking for scapegoats and pointing the finger here and there- playing the blame game like Adam and Eve. Let’s not partake in it.

Let’s pray without ceasing for God to have mercy on our land. Let’s be the sanitisers of our time by the power of the Holy Spirit. Let’s be the city on the hill that cannot be hidden. We have a God of Hope. He is not taken by surprise by what is happening and He cares. He will intervene if we intercede. He has willed the earth to us as custodians. We have authority here on earth and whatever we allow on earth will be allowed in heaven. And whatever we disallow or bind on earth will be disallowed or bound in heaven.

( Matt16:18-19)

He will not force Himself on us. This is the Church Age. The Name of Jesus is powerful all the time. Let’s believe it and invoke it and turn the tide of evil, dispel the blanket of fear and halt the decimation and blighting of lives.( Phil2:9-11, Acts3:1-7,Acts4:12, Mark16:17-18)

It is a spiritual warfare. Let’s put on the whole armour of God (Ephe6:10-18)

We need the Helmet of Salvation for protecting our minds from every negativity, fear and foreboding.

We need Breastplate of Righteousness, being the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, we can stand in the gap like Abraham did, like Nehemiah did, like Daniel did, like Esther did.

We need the Belt of Truth for exposing all the lies of the enemy at this time.

Above all we badly need the shield of faith with which to quench every fiery dart of the enemy. We need to tell people with confidence, knowing Whom we have believed that, “We will pull through together. All hope is not lost despite the bad news everywhere.” We need to counsel people to limit the diet of fear and hopelessness because it weakens their immune system.
With God all things are possible. Let’s have faith in God. Through our God we shall do valiantly. Without faith it is impossible to please God. We walk by faith and not by sight.

We need the shoes of the gospel in this fight. Let’s look for the good things God is doing even at this time and spread it like wild fire. Let’s blow it like a beacon of hope. Let us unashamedly testify of God’s goodness.

Oh how we need to go beyond the defensive weapons and wield the Sword of the Spirit which the Word of God!

This is a time to use the Word- Sword, like never before against the adversary, like Jesus did, “It is written if God be for us who can be against us? It is written, No weapon fashioned against us shall prosper. It is written” When the enemy comes like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will raise a standard against him. It is said, “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the Word of their testimony, that they loved not their lives unto death. Satan back off! It is written,” The Kingdom of God sufferers violence but the violent take it by force.” We cast you out of our cities, countries. We take back our businesses. We take back our health,  we take back our joy, we take back our streets, we take back our social life in the Name of Jesus. Amen. ( Matt4:4,Rom8:31, Isa54:17, Isa59:19,, Rev12:11, Matt11:12

No Recess in His Intercession

jesus interceding

Luke 22:32

I have prayed for thee.

 C.H. Spurgeon

How encouraging is the thought of the Redeemer’s never-ceasing intercession for us. When we pray, He pleads for us; and then we are not praying, He is advocating our cause, and by His supplications shielding us from unseen dangers. Notice the word of comfort addressed to Peter-“Simon, Simon, Satan hath desired to have you that he may sift you as wheat; but”-what? “But go and pray for yourself.” That would be good advice, but it is not so written. Neither does he say, “But I will keep you watchful, and so you shall be preserved.” That were a great blessing. No, it is, “But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not.” We little know what we owe to our Saviour’s prayers. When we reach the hill-tops of heaven, and look back upon all the way whereby the Lord our God hath led us, how we shall praise Him who, before the eternal throne, undid the mischief which Satan was doing upon earth. How shall we thank Him because He never held His peace, but day and night pointed to the wounds upon His hands, and carried our names upon His breastplate! Even before Satan had begun to tempt, Jesus had forestalled him and entered a plea in heaven. Mercy outruns malice. Mark, He does not say, “Satan hath desired to have you.” He checks Satan even in his very desire, and nips it in the bud. He does not say, “But I have desired to pray for you.” No, but “I have prayed for you: I have done it already; I have gone to court and entered a counterplea even before an accusation is made.” O Jesus, what a comfort it is that thou hast pleaded our cause against our unseen enemies; countermined their mines, and unmasked their ambushes. Here is a matter for joy, gratitude, hope, and confidence.

In this Year of Open Heavens

j0323740

Lord, on this first Sunday of the year, we will be glad and rejoice in Thee. We will not open the gates of the first Sunday of the year to weak, lack-lustre notes of gratitude, but to the melodious harmony of voices and harps of joy unspeakable and full of glory. We will enter your gates with high praises and into your courts with delight and exuberance.  With clean hands and pure heart we will climb the holy hill of the Lord.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary. Praise Him in the mighty heavens. Praise Him for His acts of power. Praise Him for His greatness- surpassing greatness. Praise Him with the trumpet. Praise Him with the harp and the lyre. Praise Him with the guitar and the flute. Praise Him with the keyboard and the dance. Praise HiFAMILY REUNION LIFE AFTER DEATH 3m with the cymbal, resounding cymbal. Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he had redeemed from the hands of the enemy.

Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord. Let us shout aloud to the Rock of our Salvation. In His Hands are the depths of the earth and the mountain peaks belong to Him. The sea is His for He made it and His Hands formed the dry land.

We are His people and sheep of His pasture.

We will put on the garment of praise to dispel any spirit of heaviness. Our God is good and is enthroned on high and is in full control, working everything together for the good of His own. This morning, we will celebrate how good and pleasant it is to be called children of God. We will rejoice that we are New creatures in Christ Jesus and that old things are one and new things have come.  We will exalt the Lord our God and worship at His footstool because holy is He. We will proclaim, ‘What a mighty God we serve, glorious in holiness fearful in praises!’ We will declare Your majesty, Your sovereignty, our integrity, Your righteousness, goodness, loving-kindness, unfailing love, Your power, Your wisdom and Your faithfulness. For You are the Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, extra-ordinarily patient and abundant in goodness and in truth.

We will lift Jesus higher above every principality and power. We will focus on the Pre-eminent One Who was and is and is to come. We will bow to He who holds the key to death and hade, the Resurrection and the Life.

11        Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; (sovereignty, integrity, authority, righteousness, wisdom, dominion, pre-eminence. You rule from sea to sea. You are the head of all principalities and powers. You measure the earth with the span of Your Hands; weigh the mountains on Your scale; the nations are like a drop in a bucket. You uproot kingdoms and set up kingdoms. Who is like unto You ? what god is like our God?

The cattle on the thousand hills are yours; the earth in all its fullness is yours. Silver and gold are yours. Your made everything- great and small.

You spoke and it was done. ‘The grass may wither and the flowers may fade but your word abides forever.’

‘For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, And You are exalted as head over all.’

In this year of open heavens, let the heavens open with rain for Your people in their due season. In this year of open heaven, let the prayers of Your people rise like a sweet smelling savour into Your nostrils unhindered. In this year of open heavens, let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice. In this year of open heavens, let iron gates open of their own accord to the redeemed of the Lord. In this year of open heavens, let  let the voice of God be heard expressly and let Your people respond with unqualified obedience. In this year of open heavens, let their joy be full. In this year of open heavens, let every wall of Jericho come tumbling down and the glory of God fall; let the fire of God fall; let salvation of souls come like a deluge; let the house of the Lord be full. In this year of open heavens, let Your people walk in love and in faith as never before. In this year of open heavens, help us to forget the former things and look forward to the new things which are in store for us. O that we will symphonise and flow with Your Holy Spirit as He leads us into the promised land flowing with milk and honey. O that we will march as one man, keeping rank and experiencing synergy come from the Holy Spirit.

We thank You for Your exceedingly great and precious promises, through which You have made us partakers of Your divine nature. In this year of open heavens, we will through faith inherit the promises, in Jesus Name. Our hands will not be slack or feeble. In the day of Your power, our strength will not be small. Forgetting the former things- achievements and failure- we will press on and reach forward for the mark of the prize of our high-calling in Christ Jesus.

Lord, make us fire brands in Your Hands; make us sharp threshing instruments having teeth with the ability to beat mountains small. O that we will crave, desire and pant for your word more than our daily food. Teach us to pray Your word and Your mind rather than our weak words or pet wishes. Help us to see through Your eyes and partner with You to do Your will on earth as it is in heaven. O Lord, give us hearts after Your own heart, like David of old.

Burn Your word: ‘Come out from amongst them and be ye separate’ into our hearts; replaying it to us until we are saturated, galvanised, submitted and driven to sanctification and consecration.

Yours is the glory, and the honour and the praise, in Jesus mighty and matchless name. Amen.
