Say What God Said ( by Fenny West)

Say What God Said

Hear what God said
Believe what God said
Say What God Said
To have what God said

For He has said:
“We are blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places.”
Therefore, I say, ‘I am Blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places.’
(Eph1:3)
For He has said, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Therefore, I say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
For He has said, “By His Stripes I was healed.” Therefore, I say, “By His Stripes I was healed.” (Phil.4:13,Isa53:4-5,1Pet.2:24)
For He has said, “I will bless you to be a blessing.” Therefore, I say, I blessed to be a blessing and Abraham’s blessings are mine. “(Gen12:3)
For He has said,” God has not given me a spirit of fear, but that of love power and sound mind. There is no fear in love, perfect love casts away all fear. The righteous are as bokd as a lion. Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. “Therefore, I can bold say God has not given me a spirit of fear but that if love power and sound mind. I have perfect love of God that casts away all fear. I am the righteousness of God and I am as bold d as a lion. Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil because God is with me. His rod and staff, His Holy Spirit, comfort, guides and strengthens, empowers and intercedes for me. “(1Tim.1:7,Prov28:1,Ps23:4-5)
For He has said,” There is now, no more Condemnation to those who are in Christ. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death.”Therefore, I can boldly say,” There is now, no more Condemnation to me because I am in Christ Jesus, I an born again. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death. “(Ro.8:1-2)
For He had said,” We are more than conquerors through Christ”. Therefore, I can boldly say, “I am more than a conqueror through Christ.” (Ro.8:37)
For He has said, “All things work together for good to those who love God and who are the called according to purpose.” Therefore, I can boldly say, “All things work together for good for me because I love God and I am the called according to the purpose of God.”

(Ro. 8:28)

Trusting Trains and Teaches ( by Fenny West)

Trusting Trains and Teaches

Trusting in His nearness will put to flight any fearfulness.

Trusting in the unfailing love of God will fill you with heavenly confidence.

Trusting in the compassion of God will fill you with admiration, adoration and veneration.

Trusting in the providence of God will put springs in your steps that even in the time of famine, He will satisfy your mouth with good things.

Trusting that He knows the way you take will give you peace that surpasses  all knowledge and understanding.

Trusting that He is in your boat and He cares will cause you to be still and know that He is God.

Trusting that you are engraved on the palm of His Hand will assure you that He will never forget you.

Trusting that He has gone ahead of you will embolden you that He will make every crooked path straight and make a road in the wilderness; rivers in the desert.

Trusting God when you’re in the fire of affliction guarantees that you will come forth as gold like Job, in the end.

Trusting that He is the Resurrection and the life assures you that any of your dead dreams shall live again.

My Expectation is from God ( by C.H Spurgeon)

My Expectation Is From God

“My expectation is from him.” Psalm 62:5

It is the believer’s privilege to use this language. If he is looking for aught from the world, it is a poor “expectation” indeed. But if he looks to God for the supply of his wants, whether in temporal or spiritual blessings, his “expectation” will not be a vain one. Constantly he may draw from the bank of faith, and get his need supplied out of the riches of God’s lovingkindness. This I know, I had rather have God for my banker than all the Rothschilds. My Lord never fails to honour his promises; and when we bring them to his throne, he never sends them back unanswered. Therefore I will wait only at his door, for he ever opens it with the hand of munificent grace. At this hour I will try him anew. But we have “expectations” beyond this life. We shall die soon; and then our “expectation is from him.” Do we not expect that when we lie upon the bed of sickness he will send angels to carry us to his bosom? We believe that when the pulse is faint, and the heart heaves heavily, some angelic messenger shall stand and look with loving eyes upon us, and whisper, “Sister spirit, come away!” As we approach the heavenly gate, we expect to hear the welcome invitation, “Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” We are expecting harps of gold and crowns of glory; we are hoping soon to be amongst the multitude of shining ones before the throne; we are looking forward and longing for the time when we shall be like our glorious Lord–for “We shall see him as he is.” Then if these be thine “expectations,” O my soul, live for God; live with the desire and resolve to glorify him from whom cometh all thy supplies, and of whose grace in thy election, redemption, and calling, it is that thou hast any “expectation” of coming glory.

Awake! Sleeping Giant ( by Fenny West)

Awake!Sleeping Giant

 faith God is almighty

Awake, sleeping giant

You’re called to be gallant.

You’re called to be adamant.

You’re called to be vigilant.

Awake, New Creation.

Arise for multiplication.

Arise for propagation.

Arise for promotion.

Awake, living stone.

Know you’re bone of His bones

Know you’re not alone

For this field much has been sown.

Awake, apple of God’s eyes

You’re not born for demise

So see through God’s eyes

See what He’s done and arise!

     ” Awake, you who sleep,

       Arise from the dead,

And Christ will give you light.”

15   See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

17   Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.Eph5:14-17

14   Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.2 Cor2:14

37   Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.Ro8:37-39

1     Arise, shine;

       For your light has come!

And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.

2       For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,

       And deep darkness the people;

But the LORD will arise over you,

And His glory will be seen upon you.

Isa60:1-2

No Recess in His Intercession

jesus interceding

Luke 22:32

I have prayed for thee.

 C.H. Spurgeon

How encouraging is the thought of the Redeemer’s never-ceasing intercession for us. When we pray, He pleads for us; and then we are not praying, He is advocating our cause, and by His supplications shielding us from unseen dangers. Notice the word of comfort addressed to Peter-“Simon, Simon, Satan hath desired to have you that he may sift you as wheat; but”-what? “But go and pray for yourself.” That would be good advice, but it is not so written. Neither does he say, “But I will keep you watchful, and so you shall be preserved.” That were a great blessing. No, it is, “But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not.” We little know what we owe to our Saviour’s prayers. When we reach the hill-tops of heaven, and look back upon all the way whereby the Lord our God hath led us, how we shall praise Him who, before the eternal throne, undid the mischief which Satan was doing upon earth. How shall we thank Him because He never held His peace, but day and night pointed to the wounds upon His hands, and carried our names upon His breastplate! Even before Satan had begun to tempt, Jesus had forestalled him and entered a plea in heaven. Mercy outruns malice. Mark, He does not say, “Satan hath desired to have you.” He checks Satan even in his very desire, and nips it in the bud. He does not say, “But I have desired to pray for you.” No, but “I have prayed for you: I have done it already; I have gone to court and entered a counterplea even before an accusation is made.” O Jesus, what a comfort it is that thou hast pleaded our cause against our unseen enemies; countermined their mines, and unmasked their ambushes. Here is a matter for joy, gratitude, hope, and confidence.

Uncommon Courage Comes

Uncommon Courage Comes

Uncommon courage comes

To those who trust the Lord

Regardless of the storm

Their faith hinged on the Word.

The world around will see

They have been with Jesus

He is their energy

He is their driving force.

They do not compromise

What He has said – His word

They stand on it and rise

In the face of the world.

Like the three Hebrew men

They ride raging fires

Till they reach God’s haven

His pleasure their desire.

7  Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.Acts4:13

35        Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.

Heb10:35

18   that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.

Heb6:18

8     But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

9     Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs.

10   And the chief of the eunuchs said to Daniel, “I fear my lord the king, who has appointed your food and drink. For why should he see your faces looking worse than the young men who are your age? Then you would endanger my head before the king.”

11   So Daniel said to the steward whom the chief of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,

12   “Please test your servants for ten days, and let them give us vegetables to eat and water to drink.

13   Then let our appearance be examined before you, and the appearance of the young men who eat the portion of the king’s delicacies; and as you see fit, so deal with your servants.”

14   So he consented with them in this matter, and tested them ten days.

15   And at the end of ten days their features appeared better and fatter in flesh than all the young men who ate the portion of the king’s delicacies.

16   Thus the steward took away their portion of delicacies and the wine that they were to drink, and gave them vegetables.

17   As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

18   Now at the end of the days, when the king had said that they should be brought in, the chief of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.

19   Then the king interviewed them, and among them all none was found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah; therefore they served before the king.

20   And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm.

21   Thus Daniel continued until the first year of King Cyrus.Dan1: 8-21
