For those who want to earn or improve their poetry writing skills, these are just a few types I have written, following the definitions on Shadow Poetry.com.  . I would just be giving the examples for the lessons based on the word of God, These will be, Purpose-driven prophetic, didactic etc as the case may be.  For definitions, I would counsel you to go to go to the link given.

Whereas structure is important in poetry, the language and literary devices such as alliteration, similes, metaphors, assonance, contrasts, pun, drama, repetition, synonyms etc are equally important, so I will be looking at these also.
