Ascend, Accelerate and Advance ( by Fenny West)

Ascend and accelerate, you were born to make progress, go from glory to glory and from strength to strength and faith to faith. Refuse to be stagnant. Paul told timothy:

15 Practice and cultivate and meditate upon these duties; throw yourself wholly into them [as your ministry], so that your progress may be evident to everybody. 1Tim4:15 AMPC

The Psalmist wrote:

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man whose strength is in You, in whose heart are the highways to Zion.

Passing through the Valley of Weeping (Baca), they make it a place of springs; the early rain also fills [the pools] with blessings.

They go from strength to strength [increasing in victorious power]; each of them appears before God in Zion. AMPC

Ps84:7

So regardless of the vicissitudes of life you face, you can go from glory to glory; you can use obstacles to mount up to higher grounds.

Meditation on the word of God continuously is the secret for making continuous progress. This is God’s will for you. Advance! Accelerate!

The Psalmist wrote:  Blessed (happy, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather.

But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.

And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity] Ps1:1-3

When you continuously mediate on the word of God, it will cause you to start doing and living the word and manifesting what God says you are. But you must also desire to grow in grace. As you feed daily, voraciously on the Word of God you will find that you will become a magnificent edifice, growing higher and higher, taller and taller.

20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit; Jude20

The word of God will build you up, give you spiritual stamina and staying power. It will energise you, empower you, inspire you never to stagnate but accelerate- make rapid progress.

32 And now [brethren], I commit you to God [I deposit you in His charge, entrusting you to His protection and care]. And I commend you to the Word of His grace [to the commands and counsels and promises of His unmerited favor]. It is able to build you up and to give you [your rightful] inheritance among all God’s set-apart ones (those consecrated, purified, and transformed of soul). Act20:32

Know who you are in Christ and whose you are and what you have. God has equipped you to live a life of distinction, excellence and continual progress because you are complete in Christ. You have the life of God- the DNA of God. The Greater One indwells you to put you over every situation you come up against.
