No Weakness Or Sickness ( by Fenny West)

No Weakness Or Sickness

There is no room for weakness or sickness in this tabernacle of God.

My body is the habitation of the Spirit of God. “He who is joined to the Lord is one Spirit.”

Therefore, God is the strength of my life. I am strong in Him and in His mighty power. That same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is residing in me and quickens my mortal body.

I am the habitation of God and no sickness or weakness or infirmity shall trespass this Divine Territory.

I am a member of the body of Christ. My hands are an extension His Hands, vibrant and virile with healing virtues and anointed. My legs are an extension His legs and can’t be weak or infirm. They cannot malfunction, in Jesus’ Name.

My eyes cannot be dim or blind because they belong to God. I have 20 20 vision-Eagle eyes.

My heart functions to the perfection God made it, and so are my organs, cells and systems.

I have a sound mind and my neurological system functions in a tip-top manner. My bones are strong never brittle. They are effective and efficient. My joints are performing at their peak. My metabolism is sound and so are my reproductive organs.

I thank You, Lord, and give you praise that healing and health belong to me. They are my inheritance in Christ Jesus. By His stripes I was healed. You sent Your Word to heal me. Healing is the bread of the children.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my Refuge, my God in whom I trust.”

Surely, He has saved me from the fowler’s snare and from the perilous pestilence. His faithfulness is be my shield and my buckler.

I will not be Afraid of the terror by night or arrow that flies by night. No plague – epidemic or Pandemic comes near God’s abode. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. When the enemy comes like a flood, the Spirit of God shall raise a standard against him. Greater is He in me than he that in this world. I hail from God, born of the Word that is powerful, dynamic, living, incorruptible, and medicine to my whole body. It permeates my whole being-spirit, soul and body.

No weakness, sickness or infirmity, in the Matchless Name of Jesus. Amen and amen.

More than A Conqueror ( by Fenny West )

More than a Conqueror

That’s Who you are

If you’re in Christ.

Your life is hidden in Christ in God.

No weapon fashioned against you will prosper.

When the enemy comes like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will raise a standard against him.

You have Zoe- Eternal life, the life of God which cannot be infected by any Corona virus or COVID19 or whatever CONVID.

Let this be your awareness, assurance and confidence. You are the temple of the Most High God, His Habitation, His Garden and no disease can trespass where He dwells or corrupt where He dwells.

Stand firm and let this be your confession and assurance of faith.

DAILY Acknowledge Who you are, what you have, whose your are  and where you are at, in Jesus’ Name.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. Eph1:3-6

6 that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. Philemon1:6

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Rom8:1-2

11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.  Rom811

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Rom8:28

God’s Everlasting Love
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.
34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
55 ” O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1Cor15:53-58

4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1John4:4

4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith. John5:4

12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.Matt11:12

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Rev12:11

7      ” Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD.

8      For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. Jer17:7-8

12   The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13   Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God.

14   They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing,

15   To declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. Ps92:12-15

1      Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;

2      But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.

3      He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. Ps1:1-3

I Walk in the Blessing Only ( By Fenny West)

I Walk in the Blessing Only

I Walk in the Blessing Only
Because I am  blessed
With every spiritual blessing
In heavenly places.
Christ nailed the curse to the cross.
And by so doing set me free from the curse.
I walk in the blessing only
Because I walk in the Word only
And in the Light that the Word sheds
In my path.

There is only life- not death- but life.
We walk in the blessing only
Because the boundary lines
Have fallen in pleasant places for me.
And I  have a goodly, godly heritage.

I walk in the blessing only
Because I am the seed of Abraham
And Christ has Redeemed me from the curse of the law

that the blessing of Abraham might rest on me.

I walk in the blessings only
Because no curse causeless shall alight on me,
Christ fully paid the penalty of sin
When on the Cross He said, “It is finished.”

I  walk in the blessing only.
Because the expectation of the righteous

shall not be cut off or cut short.
God said it and I believe it and that settles it.

Whose report shall I believe?

I walk in the blessing only
Christ is my life . My life is hidden in Christ in God

and He is not cursed.
He is the blessing of God to mankind.
As many as believe in Him are blessed.

I walk in the blessing only
Because as He is, so we am I in this world.
I am in Him and in Him is no curse.
In Him is love, peace, joy, light, eternal life
Abundant life, all wisdom, righteousness
Health, wealth, strength, insight, knowledge that surpasses.

I walk in the blessing only
As far as the east is from the west
So far have my transgression been removed

from me  and as high as the heavens are above the earth,

so great is His love towards me. He made me the head
And not the tail.

Surely, Goodness and mercy follow me all the days of our lives.

“On mine arm shall they trust.” Isaiah 51:5

Trust is very important in any relationship. It is the bedrock of any meaningful relationship.  When there is trust you can be yourself. You can afford to be vulnerable. You know you will not be taken advantaged of or poked fun at.  Without trust there can be no intimacy. Without trust there is suspicion. You watch your every word; you are a like a sheep amongst wolves or a fish out of water. You pretend, playact, and try to please or patronise for acceptance.

Whereas this characteristic is treasured when it is shared and desired in our daily interactions, we must all admit to have disappointed people who have trusted us, from time to time. This may be deliberate or unintentional because of our human weakness and limitations.

And because of our limitation, absolute trust in any human being will be misplaced. Only God can be trusted any day anytime-through thick and thin. That is why He counsels us not to trust in the arms of the flesh but trust in Him.

3     Trust in the LORD, and do good;

Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.

4     Delight yourself also in the LORD,

And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

5     Commit your way to the LORD,

     Trust also in Him,

And He shall bring it to pass.

6     He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,

And your justice as the noonday.

40   And the LORD shall help them and deliver them;

He shall deliver them from the wicked,

     And save them,

     Because they trust in Him.

Ps37:3-6, 40

5       Trust in the LORD with all your heart,

       And lean not on your own understanding;

6       In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall direct your paths.Prov3:5-6

3       You will keep him in perfect peace,

Whose mind is stayed on You,

       Because he trusts in You.

4       Trust in the LORD forever,

For in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength. Isa26:4

God warned the Israelites not to forget Him when they were well fed and tempted to say:

17 …in your heart, ‘My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.’

18        “And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.Deut8:17-18

“Some trust in chariots”: This is symbolic of our trappings and pomp and pageantry or class. Others trust in their connections- their friends or family or business partners money in the bank. Yet others trust in their accolades, their prestige or reputation, wealth or physique- their beauty or hunky looks or talents.

Whereas these are not bad in themselves, but they become our weakness or even grave diggers when we begin to trust in them.

Why? They are fleeting, transient, ephemeral and will bring a rude awakening when they suddenly fail us without warning.

King Nebuchadnezzar was in this place when he climbed up his balcony and admired his Babylonian empire, arrogating to himself, the power, wisdom and sovereignty. He thought he was invincible.

As praised himself for his achievements-not acknowledging the Source, he was weighed and found wanting and driven into the forest, lost his mind and grew feathers like a bird and nails like claws, banished for seven years in the wilderness, until he repented was restored.

“Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?”

31     While the word was still in the king’s mouth, a voice fell from heaven: “King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: the kingdom has departed from you!32 And they shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. They shall make you eat grass like oxen; and seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.”

33     That very hour the word was fulfilled concerning Nebuchadnezzar; he was driven from men and ate grass like oxen; his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair had grown like eagles’ feathers and his nails like birds’ claws.

34     And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever:

For His dominion is an everlasting dominion,

And His kingdom is from generation to generation.

35     All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing;

He does according to His will in the army of heaven

And among the inhabitants of the earth.

No one can restrain His hand

Or say to Him, “What have You done?”

36                At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my honor and splendor returned to me.

Later on, his son, Belteshazzar, took over the reins of the empire and never learnt a lesson from his father about the folly in trusting in himself. After the death of his father, he organised a great feast and ordered that the holy vessels which had been taken from the temple in Jerusalem be brought for his rave with his concubines.

Whilst they were waltzing, wining and dining, he saw the finger of a man writing on the wall: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.

His countenance changed, his joints gave way and he became wobbly and was gripped with fear and trepidation as his knees knocked. He became desperate for an interpretation but none of his astrologers were able to interpret the inscription.

Fortunately, he had a wise wife who knew that only one man could interpret that mystery and that was Daniel. He was summoned and he interpreted the inscription- meaning ‘You have been weigh and found wanting.’ He lost the kingdom to invaders that very night and died in the siege.

Power had intoxicated him. He was trusting in himself and his wealth and position.

Herod in the time of the persecution of the apostles was very renowned and was greatly gifted with oratory. He was like a colossus and demagogue and highly respected and sought after. Yes, he was alike some motivational speakers like Tony Blair who could rake in hundreds of thousands of pound with just a few speaking engagements.

On one occasion as he was performing, people were in awe;

And as he lapped it all up, he was suddenly struck down and died and immediately worms came out of him.

22 And the people kept shouting, “The voice of a god and not of a man!”23 Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died.Acts12:22-23

So my friend where is your trust? Is it in your wealth or connections or reputation? I hope not.

It is all sinking sand. It’s all pie in the sky. It’s all vanity upon vanity. It’s all grasping of the wind and pursuing the wind. It will not hold water on the evil day.

5     Thus says the LORD:

” Cursed is the man who trusts in man

       And makes flesh his strength,

Whose heart departs from the LORD.Jer17:5

7     Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;

But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

Trust in the Lord

Trust in the Lord at ALL times and you will stand and withstand any adversity. Trust in the Lord at all times and your trust will not be mislaid or misplaced. When everything else fails God will not fail those who trust in Him.

24   “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.Matt7:24-25

He told Moses: “Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock.”Ex33:21

1     Those who trust in the LORD

     Are like Mount Zion,

Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.

2     As the mountains surround Jerusalem,

So the LORD surrounds His people

From this time forth and forever.

Yes, when you trust the Lord, you will be like mount Zion and you will not be moved. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord will surround you. His angels will be round about you to keep you in all your ways.

When He is your refuge and strength, He will hide you under the shadow of His wings.  No harm will befall you. No disaster will come near your dwelling. He will make room for you. He will set you high upon a rock and your head will be lifted high above your enemies and any storms.  You will soar like an eagle- using the adverse wind to scale heights hitherto unknown to you.  You will step out of your comfort zone and walk on water like Peter. In your weakness, His strength will be made perfect. He will enable you to leap over walls and run through troops. He will fight your battles. No weapon fashioned against you will prosper. They may throw you into the pit and steal your coat and sell you like a chattel as they did Joseph but the adversities you face will work for you. And as you maintain your diligence and integrity and excellence like Joseph, you will be a blessing wherever you. You will prosper even in prison. God will order your steps. He will provide for you even in the day of famine. When you go through rivers and waters, you will not drown. When you go through the fire, the fire will set you free to fulfil your vision, like Daniel and friends.

Trust in the Lord and you will not rust. Trust in the Lord and He will thrust you into the Land of good things; the Land flowing with milk and honey. Trust in the Lord and the boundary lines will fall for you in pleasant places. Trust in the Lord. Again I say, trust in the Lord.

The Lord is My Song and Strength

The Lord is my Song and Strength
He is my Shield, Shelter and Salvation.
He hauled the foe and his horse into the sea
Because He is the Master of the Sea.

The Lord is my Stronghold and Strong Tower

and in Him I hide and abide.
No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper.
Everything I lay my hands to do shall prosper.

The Lord my light and might,

therefore I shine wherever I go.

I wax stronger and stronger from day to day.

He makes a way for me where there is no way.

He makes rivers in the desert and a way in the wilderness.

He parts my red sea for me to walk on dry ground.

The Lord is my Source.

He supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory.

No good thing does He withhold from me.

He satisfies my mouth with good things.

He daily loads me with benefits to enjoy.

He is my Shepherd-the Good Shepherd,

who lays down His life for the sheep.

I can count on His providence.

He leads me to my green pastures and still water.

In times of famine, He will satisfy me.

Channels may change from time to time,

but my Source remains unchanging,

He is reliable and faithful.

As I take steps of faith,

He will order my steps and demonstrate

His ever- presence and faithfulness, grace and goodness.

The Lord is my Peace.

In Him I have peace with God and the peace of God that transcends all understanding. In Him I have serenity, composure, repose, assurance, confidence, boldness.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.

The Lord is my canopy. He protects me.
For He is with me. He said, “Fear not. I am with you. Be not dismayed. I am your God. I will uphold you and retain you with my victorious right hand of rightness and justice. Fear not. You are mine. I have engraved you on the palm of my hands. Shall a mother forget her sucking babe? Even if she does, I will not forget my own.”
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and be of good courage. The Lord is with you wherever you go. Angels have been given charge over you.
Therefore stand still and see the salvation of your God.

Those that are with you are more than those against you.

And if God is for you who can be against you.

Put on the whole armour of God and stand in the evil day.
Stand! Having done all stand. Fear not. When you go through the waters, you will not drown. And when you go through the fire, the flame will not singe you. You will not be burnt or even smell of smoke. The fire will work for you. It will refine you, recharge you, rekindle you, revive you, rejuvenate you, reposition you and ‘refire’ you.

So count it all joy at such times because God is making your faith more robust at such times so that you will radiate His glory. Know that at such times you are being prepared for promotion, like Daniel and his friends. Refuse to compromise. Set your face like a flint like they did and you will win. Set your face like a flint like Esther did and you will obtain the golden sceptre and fulfil your vision.

He’s Your Strength and Song ( by C.H. Spurgeon)

God’s Strength is Inexhaustible

I will strengthen thee.
Isaiah 41:10

God has a strong reserve with which to discharge this engagement; for he is able to do all things. Believer, till thou canst drain dry the ocean of omnipotence, till thou canst break into pieces the towering mountains of almighty strength, thou never needest to fear. Think not that the strength of man shall ever be able to overcome the power of God. Whilst the earth’s huge pillars stand, thou hast enough reason to abide firm in thy faith. The same God who directs the earth in its orbit, who feeds the burning furnace of the sun, and trims the lamps of heaven, has promised to supply thee with daily strength. While he is able to uphold the universe, dream not that he will prove unable to fulfil his own promises. Remember what he did in the days of old, in the former generations. Remember how he spake and it was done; how he commanded, and it stood fast. Shall he that created the world grow weary? He hangeth the world upon nothing; shall he who doth this be unable to support his children? Shall he be unfaithful to his word for want of power? Who is it that restrains the tempest? Doth not he ride upon the wings of the wind, and make the clouds his chariots, and hold the ocean in the hollow of his hand? How can he fail thee? When he has put such a faithful promise as this on record, wilt thou for a moment indulge the thought that he has outpromised himself, and gone beyond his power to fulfil? Ah, no! Thou canst doubt no longer.

O thou who art my God and my strength, I can believe that this promise shall be fulfilled, for the boundless reservoir of thy grace can never be exhausted, and the overflowing storehouse of thy strength can never be emptied by thy friends or rifled by thine enemies.

“Now let the feeble all be strong,

And make Jehovah’s arm their song.”

Purchased by Jesus- the divine

By His stripes I was healed

By His Spirit I am filled and fuelled.

Healing is the bread of the children.

Healing is the heritage of heaven’s citizens

I am a child of God and born of the Spirit

Therefore I stand on the powerful,

dynamic word of God.

He sent His word and healed them

And I am one of His, one of them.

My body is divine territory.

Therefore I forbid any trespass of the enemy.

My whole being is God’s temple

So no sickness or disease is allowed to settle.

He rises over me with healing in His wings.

I am renewed, invigorated

and strengthened to sing

praises to my God  and my King.

My whole being His praises ring.

My outward man may perish day by day,

But my inward man is being renewed every day.

He covers me from every perilous pestilence.

I am severed and delivered from every disease-sentence.

God’s word pierces every cell, organ, system in me.

It realigns every misalignments and malfunction in me.

It flushes out all impurities and diseases.

It strengthens all weaknesses, in Jesus’ Name. Amen

God says: Ps107:20

Isa53:4-5, ( 1Pet2:24) Matt8:16

1     Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2     Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3     Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

20   He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Ps107:20

4     Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed(Isa53:4-5)

If sickness has come to camp in your body and challenging you, causing pain, weakness, misery, hopelessness, depression, disillusionment, discouragement, despair, even desperation, then rise up and fight and make this your daily confession or diet. Meditate on these scriptures daily , even more than once.  Pray the scriptures back to God. Fast and pray if need be to show you mean business, apart from the health and spiritual benefits of fasting. This especially essential if sickness has made a bridgehead on your body or become a stronghold, telling you, ‘I belong here. I have been here a long time. This is my home.’  Refuse to budge. Exercise your faith and take God at His word

Eat healthily and do daily exercise. This will help you too. However, bodily exercise whilst good will not get rid of every disease. You need to redouble your armament against the disease or ailment. Do not give the disease any excuses to stay. You may have been told it is hereditary and for life. You can break that chain in our family with the word of God. I had asthma and which degenerated to a point where I needed more than one inhaler. I became fed up with it and fought back with the word of God and prayer and I am now free by the grace of God. I don’t use any inhalers again. Praise the Lord. Occasionally I am challenged however but I have had to stand on the word of God and prayer rather than depending on medication. My stance not only brought about my healing but also boosted my faith and has given me a testimony. Trials of life are meant to bring testimonies if we respond to them appropriately.

However I warn you that this is a fight of faith- a good fight of faith. The more you stand your ground and on the word, the more your faith will be boosted and you will become stronger.

Obviously, I am assuming that you are a believer- born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. If you are not born again, whilst eating well and exercising can go a long way to revive your health and ward off some sicknesses and disease, you cannot depend on this discipline for divine healing. You must be born again, filled with the Holy Spirit and begin to grow your faith in God. Otherwise, you can confess the words till you’re blue in the face, it will not work because you will not be able to believe what you’re confessing.

15   And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

16   But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?

17   Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.

The wicked here stands for those who do not believe- not because they have done any thing despicable. The word of God is a covenant- an agreement. And before you can stand on the basis of the covenant ou have to be a party to it.

Divine healing is part of the kingdom of God and Jesus said except a man be born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God. Salvation is more than being reconciled to God. it encompasses deliverance, healing, preservation and provision and health.

Also it is important to know that whereas it is possible to obtain miracles- instantaneous results with no medical explanation- God could intend healing or deliverance for you and this could be gradual- ‘little by little’

22 And the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you little by little; you will be unable to destroy them at once, lest the beasts of the field become too numerous for you.Deut7:22

…they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark16:18b

And so the route of recovery may not appeal to many people in this age of ‘instant this’ and instant that.’

Yes, more often than not we all would all prefer miracles and fuelled by this fast food mentality, but it will not always work. God want you to grow in our faith. You too should see the necessity of growing our faith. And that takes time and effort and commitment and is it not worth it?

( see other articles , poems , sermons and songs on divine healing, being Born Again, and develop your faith.

We are all challenged in our bodies from time to time b ut we must not resign ourselves to the ravages of disease and sickness by making excuses for them to camp in us and make us miserable and ineffective and in desperation. We need to break free from their stranglehold and captivity in the name of Jesus and by the power of the Spirit.

Fight the good fight of faith. God is for you and not against you. See our body as the temple of God- divine territory. See sickness as a foreign body, a trespasser, an encroacher that has to be given its marching orders. Fight the good fight of faith with God’s word –the sword of the spirit. It is dynamic, living, active, razor-sharp, and with the ability to pierce your whole being- spirit soul and boy, all your cells, muscles, ligaments and system. Address your areas of concern specifically. If they have given it a name, know that the name of Jesus is more potent and powerful to expel it or subdue it. Exercise our dominion over that sickness or condition, in Jesus’ name. Flush any disease or impurities out of the temple of God!

God is a covenant-keeping God and delights in his child coming to Him in prayer on the basis of covenant and he finished work on Calvary’s cross. You need to know that you know that you know that Jesus did not only does to save us from our sins and reconcile us to God, He also took our sicknesses and pain. By His stripes we were healed. The New Covenant is avails and prevails and assails when ou stand on it after being born again. It is a covenant established on better promises. But you have to know these promises by heart and apply them consistently without wavering, regardless of how you feel. We need to pray without ceasing. We need to walk by faith and not by sight. We also need to praise and worship and give thanks before we see the results (Phil4:6-7 1Thess5:17, Job2:

18   While he was still speaking, another also came and said, “Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house,19 and suddenly a great wind came from across the wilderness and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell on the young people, and they are dead; and I alone have escaped to tell you!”

20   Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped.21 And he said:

” Naked I came from my mother’s womb,

And naked shall I return there.

       The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away;

Blessed be the name of the LORD.”

22        In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong. Job1:18-22

7     So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD, and struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.8 And he took for himself a potsherd with which to scrape himself while he sat in the midst of the ashes.

9     Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!”

10   But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

So gradual recovery route may be what God intends for you because it is best for you. You have to accept it but this is different from giving excuses for the disease to stay. Building up your faith is essential for other issues that you will face in life and God wants us to be strong in Him and in His mighty power. He wants us to walk by faith and not by sight. He wants our sufficiency to be of Him and not of ourselves. The faith-life you build through your challenges will last you a life time.  However by just resigning yourself to the sickness and moaning and complaining will not build your faith. You will be suffering for no just cause. But when you take God at His word with a bull-dog tenacity and fight, you will eventually obtain the victory and your faith boosted in the process. And you too can help others break free.

God says:

20     My son, give attention to my words;

Incline your ear to my sayings.

21     Do not let them depart from your eyes;

       Keep them in the midst of your heart;

22     For they are life to those who find them,

And health to all their flesh.

23     Keep your heart with all diligence,

For out of it spring the issues of life.

26 and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”

4       Surely He has borne our griefs

       And carried our sorrows;

       Yet we esteemed Him stricken,

       Smitten by God, and afflicted.

5       But He was wounded for our transgressions,

       He was bruised for our iniquities;

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

And by His stripes we are healed.Isa53:4-5, ( 1Pet2:24) Matt8:16

The Sun of Righteousness shall arise

1     Bless the LORD, O my soul;

And all that is within me, bless His holy name!

2     Bless the LORD, O my soul,

And forget not all His benefits:

3     Who forgives all your iniquities,

     Who heals all your diseases,

4     Who redeems your life from destruction,

Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

5     Who satisfies your mouth with good things,

So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.Ps103:3

2          Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 1Jn3:2

And delivered them from their destructions. Ps107:20

The Soldier of Christ ( by Fenny West)

The Soldier of Christ…

Is a New Creation,
Born from above,
Blood- bought,
Created in the image of God
To have dominion over all
principalities and powers.

The Soldier of Christ…

Soldiers on, presses on
Perseveres long,
He may fall seven times but he rises again.
He may be hard-pressed but he is not crushed
He may be perplexed but is not in despair
He may be persecuted but is not abandoned
He may be knocked down but he is never knocked out.
He uses the valley of Bacca as a place of spring
To spring up to the glory of God.
He goes from strength to strength and
From glory to glory and faith to faith.
He presses on for the mark
of the prize of his high-calling in Christ Jesus.
He puts principalities and powers
Where they belong- under his feet.

The Soldier of Christ…

Rejoices always.
In everything he gives thanks,
Knowing that it is the will of God
for him in Christ Jesus.
He prays without ceasing,
Wins his battles on his knees.
He fights battles but knows that
Christ has won the war.

He uses opposition to obtain promotion;
Uses calamity and adversity as springboards
For climbing the ladder of life to a higher playing field.
He looks not at the things which are seen
But the things which are unseen,
Knowing that the things which are seen
Are temporary, transient and passing away,
But the things which are unseen are eternal.
He knows that his light afflictions are working for him
An exceeding weight of eternal glory.
When he is tested, he knows that he will come forth like gold
and that better will be his end than his beginning, like Job of old.

Is loved with everlasting love
And the love of God is shed abroad in his heart.
He loves like Christ, lays down his life for others
Thinks like Christ because he has the mind of Christ.
He sets his mind on things above – not on earthly things.
Because he knows that although he is in this world,
he is not of the world.
He is just an actor, a visitor, a traveller en route heaven.
He is citizen of heaven.
He is an ambassador of Christ, God’s field, chosen of God
a co-worker with God with a ministry of reconciliation.
He knows that as new creature in Christ Jesus,
the old has gone and the new has come.
He is more than a conqueror and
a partaker of the divine nature and an imitator of Christ.
He dies daily by disciplining himself as a disciple of Christ.
He welcomes the discipline of the Lord,

The greater One indwells the Soldier of Christ,
And this is the Holy Spirit
Who inspires him, propels him, controls him, guides him,
comforts him, strengthens him, empowers him,
intercedes for him, corrects him, rebukes him,
instructs him, gives him revelation knowledge
that is above natural knowledge and endows
him with the gifts of the Spirit for the service
of encouraging, edifying the Body and for
the work of ministry. He is totally yielded to Him.

The Soldier of Christ…

He endures hardness as a good soldier of Christ
and fights the good fight of faith.
He is passionate about his vision
And sets his face like a flint to finish it with finesse
Like his Master, Jesus, like Paul did,
like David did, like Joseph did.
He looks to Jesus always as the
Author and Finisher of his faith
He suffers with Christ as to reign with Him.
He knows that as Christ is so he is. He is the light of the world
A city on the hill, a salt of the earth
and determines to live up to Christ’s expectation-
not by his might nor by power but by the power of the Holy Spirit.
He knows he has authority in Christ to rule and reign
with Him and exercises this authority in all areas of his life.

The Soldier of Christ…

Whilst often he suffers violence, he does not
Surrender but takes the kingdom of God by force.
He exercises dominion over principalities and powers
and diabolical spirits arrayed against him
and makes a public spectacle of them like Jesus
using the power that Jesus gave him over all the power of the enemy.
He says what God says, agrees with the word of God,
believes God’s report regardless of what he sees
or hears or what people say.
He is not perturbed by bad news
And remains of good cheer because he knows that
Although in the world he would have tribulation
he knows that Christ has overcome the world.
Therefore he has also overcome because of the indwelling Spirit.
He has a different spirit like Joshua and Caleb,
Like Paul , like David who was a man after God’s own heart.
No weapon fashioned against him prospers.
When the enemy comes like a flood,
the Spirit of the Lord raises a standard against him.
He gives thanks in everything, knowing that
it is the will of God for him in Christ Jesus.
He has an excellent spirit like Daniel and Joseph
and does whatever he does to his utmost and to the glory of God.

But always ready to move when the cloud moves,
Because he is led of the Holy Spirit and not by his five senses.
He is prepared to be a ‘fool’ for God
because he knows that the foolishness of God
is wiser that the wisdom of men.
He is addicted to the word and fellowship with God.
That is why he abides in the word, wallows in it,
delights in it more than his daily food like Job.
He does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly
nor stands in the way of sinners
nor sits in the seat of God-mockers.
His delight is in the word of God
and on His word he meditates day and night.
And for this reason he is like a tree planted
by the streams of water that brings

forth its fruit in due season.
And whatever he does prospers.

He is ever ready to give a testimony of

him and the reason for his hope.
He is not ashamed of the gospel,

for the salvation of those who believe.

 The soldier of Christ

Does not leave himself vulnerable to the enemy
but puts on the whole armour of God as to stand in the evil day.
Hence he covers his mind with the helmet of salvation
To prevent, ward off, and guard against
every insinuation and wicked suggestion of the devil.
He puts on the belt of truth to expose
every lie of the enemy whom he knows is a father lies.
He also lifts the shield of faith above all to extinguish
all the flaming arrows of the enemy. He uses this defensive
weapon by confessing the word of God like Jesus did:
it is written …It is written… It is written…
He calls those things which be not as though they are
and sees from a divine perspective. He is well-booted
with the gospel of peace, spreading the good news of salvation
which includes healing and deliverance and prosperity
and soundness of mind- the whole man.
He does not forget the robe of
right-standing with God that Jesus gave him
and does not stand in his own righteousness
which he knows is like a filthy rag before God.

Strength in Weakness ( by C.H.Spurgeon)

God will not abandon crdaniel fresh and flourishing david and goliath4 put God First no weapon ecards God's time Gd not dead God is faithful he ll bring yo through 2 peter walking on water 2

2 Corinthians 12:9

For my strength is made perfect in weakness.

A primary qualification for serving God with any amount of success, and for doing God’s work well and triumphantly, is a sense of our own weakness. When God’s warrior marches forth to battle, strong in his own might, when he boasts, “I know that I shall conquer, my own right arm and my conquering sword shall get unto me the victory,” defeat is not far distant. God will not go forth with that man who marches in his own strength. He who reckoneth on victory thus has reckoned wrongly, for “it is not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” They who go forth to fight, boasting of their prowess, shall return with their gay banners trailed in the dust, and their armour stained with disgrace. Those who serve God must serve Him in His own way, and in His strength, or He will never accept their service. That which man doth, unaided by divine strength, God can never own. The mere fruits of the earth He casteth away; He will only reap that corn, the seed of which was sown from heaven, watered by grace, and ripened by the sun of divine love. God will empty out all that thou hast before He will put His own into thee; He will first clean out thy granaries before He will fill them with the finest of the wheat. The river of God is full of water; but not one drop of it flows from earthly springs. God will have no strength used in His battles but the strength which He Himself imparts. Are you mourning over your own weakness? Take courage, for there must be a consciousness of weakness before the Lord will give thee victory. Your emptiness is but the preparation for your being filled, and your casting down is but the making ready for your lifting up.

“When I am weak then am I strong,

Grace is my shield and Christ my song.”

Psalms 133: Blessed Unity of the People of God A Song of Ascents. Of David.

1     Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!

2     It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments.

3     It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing — Life forevermore.

30   How could one chase a thousand, And two put ten thousand to flight, Unless their Rock had sold them, And the LORD had surrendered them? Deut32 :30

Ephesians 4: Walk in Unity

1     I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,

2     with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,

3     endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

4     There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;

5     one Lord, one faith, one baptism;

6     one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Acts 2: Coming of the Holy Spirit

1     When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2     And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.

3     Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.

4     And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

6     And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

7     For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.

8     And there was great joy in that city.

The Name of Jesus Forbidden

13   Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

4     And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”

5     But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.

6     And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them Gen 11

18   “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

19   “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

Prayer for Boldness

23   And being let go, they went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them.

24   So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: “Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them,

25   who by the mouth of Your servant David have said: ‘ Why did the nations rage, And the people plot vain things?

26   The kings of the earth took their stand, And the rulers were gathered together Against the LORD and against His Christ.’

27   “For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together

28   to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done.

29   Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word,

30   by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”

31   And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

Sharing in All Things

32   Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.

33   And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.

34   Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold,

35   and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.

36   And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus,
