Come, New Life receive

People of Croydon

People of London

Have you heard the Good News,

And that in spite of your views?

Have you heard the Gospel sound?

Is it not time to be found?

the summer and harvest is past

Tell me why you still fast

Jesus has paid the great price

His life’s blood He sacrificed

For you and I to come in

Delivered from damnation and sin.

The veil has been torn into two

The door is now open to you

Come now and your sins confess

And salvation you will possess.

It’s not a matter of your works

It’s all a matter of God’s work.

Just come, look and live

Come New Life receive.

Plug into God’s Power this Year

Plug into God’s power in this year

Plug into God’s power

And it will not be sour

Plug into God’s power and

You will begin to soar and tower

Plug into God’s power –

Jesus Christ, the Sin-bearer

And you will meet with

The Gods’ Electricity

His Holy Spirit Who will ignite your life.

Plug into God’s power

And your life will be energized;

Light and life will come

His Dynamo and quickening will come

God’s kingdom will come.

Plug into God’s power

Confess your sin

Admit you’re in the bin

Admit you’re not clean

And Jesus clean you

Purify you

Translate you

From the kingdom of darkness

Into the Kingdom of His brightness-

The Kingdom of God.

Plug into God’s power today

And you will meet with the Way

Who will usher in a New Day

Change will come

Good, good change

Transformation will begin.

You will see the goodness of God

The power of God

The beauty of God

The glory of God

The majesty of God

You will pass from death life

Eternal life will come

The old will go and the New will come.

Plug into God’s power

And He will bring you through

In your dark hour

Except a man be born again

He cannot see the Kingdom of God.

Open your heart and let Jesus reign

Get up and come of sin’s train

Headed for the Land of Destruction

The Land of doom and damnation.

Today is the day of salvation

This is the acceptable time

Plug into God’s power and live

Plug into God’s power and come alive

Pug into God’s power and be set free

Plug into God’s power and you will begin to see

3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”John3:3

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Rom1:16

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 1Cor1:18

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 1Cor1:21

4And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

5That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Believe, Receive and Live

“The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.”-Jeremiah 8:20

Not saved! Dear reader, is this your mournful plight? Warned of the judgment to come, bidden to escape for your life, and yet at this moment not saved! You know the way of salvation, you read it in the Bible, you hear it from the pulpit, it is explained to you by friends, and yet you neglect it, and therefore you are not saved. You will be without excuse when the Lord shall judge the quick and dead. The Holy Spirit has given more or less of blessing upon the word which has been preached in your hearing, and times of refreshing have come from the divine presence, and yet you are without Christ. All these hopeful seasons have come and gone-your summer and your harvest have past-and yet you are not saved. Years have followed one another into eternity, and your last year will soon be here: youth has gone, manhood is going, and yet you are not saved. Let me ask you-will you ever be saved? Is there any likelihood of it? Already the most propitious seasons have left you unsaved; wi ll other occasions alter your condition?
Means have failed with you-the best of means, used perseveringly and with the utmost affection-what more can be done for you? Affliction and prosperity have alike failed to impress you; tears and prayers and sermons have been wasted on your barren heart. Are not the probabilities dead against your ever being saved? Is it not more than likely that you will abide as you are till death for ever bars the door of hope? Do you recoil from the supposition? Yet it is a most reasonable one: he who is not washed in so many waters will in all probability go filthy to his end. The convenient time never has come, why should it ever come? It is logical to fear that it never will arrive, and that Felix like, you will find no convenient season till you are in hell. O bethink you of what that hell is, and of the dread probability that you will soon be cast into it!

Reader, suppose you should die unsaved, your doom no words can picture. Write out your dread estate in tears and blood, talk of it with groans and gnashing of teeth: you will be punished with everlasting destruction from the glory of the Lord, and from the glory of His power. A brother’s voice would fain startle you into earnestness. O be wise, be wise in time, and ere another year begins, believe in Jesus, who is able to save to the uttermost. Consecrate these last hours to lonely thought, and if deep repentance be bred in you, it will be well; and if it lead to a humble faith in Jesus, it will be best of all. O see to it that this year pass not away, and you an unforgiven spirit. Let not the new year’s midnight peals sound upon a joyless spirit! Now, NOW, NOW believe, and live.

“ESCAPE FOR THY LIFE;
LOOK NOT BEHIND THEE,
NEITHER STAY THOU
IN ALL THE PLAIN;
ESCAPE TO THE MOUNTAIN,escape from sodom
LEST THOU BE CONSUMED.”

C.H.Spurgeon

He Was Sent…

He was sent to bring light

To those who seat in darkness

To bring recovery of sight

To those who grope in blindness.

He was sent

To those who labour in prison

The poor, oppressed, distressed.

He was sent to those bound by sin

In the dungeons and in a great mess.

He was sent

to those whose strength  is spent

those without hope;

those that are crooked-bent;

heart-broken and cannot cope.

He was sent to you and I.

He was sent

to come down to our level

and to lift us up

Deal with the devil

Who came to usurp

He was sent

to those who fear;

who hide from His presence

Not knowing He’s always there and cares

And all they need do is come with repentance

He was sent to bring a New Song

To those who mourn, singing old songs

Those who moan, groan and sigh

And have been sick for very long.

He was sent to announce a New Dawn.

He was sent

To stoop vey low

To raise us up high

To take our sorrows

And wipe the tears from our eyes.

Today, draw near to Him

And He will drew near to you

Open your heart to Him

And He will come into you.

To you He was sent

So do not relent

Only repent

Obey is commandment.

Enigmatic Jesus

Enigmatic Jesus

God with us

The Word of Life

That brought us life

The Word, in the Beginning

Who was the beginning

The Word that was with God

The Word that was God

The Word that was

The Word that is

The Word that is to come.

Through Him was Creation

He makes us New Creations

He was truly Man and truly God

God came to man that man may come to God.

He owned the earth in all its fullness

But stooped so low to lift us out of our emptiness.

He was God’s brightness

In the world’s darkness

He came to reveal God to man

According the divine plan

He came to bridge the gap between man and God.

According to the Word of God

He came to His own

But He was disowned

He was born to die

To lift sinners high

As many as come to Him

As many as receive Him

Not based on their works

But based on His perfect work.

On the cross He paid the price

Gave His life, an atoning sacrifice.

The deal He did is a done deal

Not what anyone can steal.

With His blood the deal was sealed

And by His stripes we were healed.

Dead and buried, He rose again

Ascended on high and now He reigns.

Someday He is coming back again

Coming with a great victory train.

Are you ready for Him?

Are you routing for Him?

Are you waiting for Him?

Have you accepted Him

Not only as Lord

But also but as Saviour?

 Without the Way

You have lost your way

Without the truth

You have lost your root

Without the Life

You have no life.

John1:1-14

The Eternal Word

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

John’s Witness: The True Light

6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

The Word Becomes Flesh

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

John1:1-14
