Mighty God ( by Fenny West)
Put God First (by Fenny West)
PUT GOD FIRST
Those Who Put God Last in Life
Will have a life that will not last
They will be eluded by abundant life
And will short-change themselves of the best.
Putting God last in life
Is putting the cart before the horse
And that will be a troubled life-
Life that invites, welcomes a curse.
The wise man hears, adheres and becomes wiser
The foolish man hears, ignores and falls down
The wise man hears, takes counsel and becomes better
The foolish man hears, scorns and is soon overthrown.
33But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matt6:33
7The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction. Prov.1:7
5 Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.
6 Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you.
7 Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.
8 Exalt her, and she will promote you; She will bring you honor, when you embrace her.
9 She will place on your head an ornament of grace; A crown of glory she will deliver to you.”
10 Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, And the years of your life will be many.
Prov4:5-10
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.
Prov12:13

Love is Universal ( by Fenny West)
Love is universal
And practical;
Easily identified
And recognised.
Love is a language
Everyone can speak;
Whether you are strong or weak
Love is also a language
everyone can understand
Whether you are Jew or Greek
With a foundation of love
You can always Stand out
Stand firm, stand strong
Stand the test of time.
He is God of Your Day and Your Night ( by C.H. Spurgeon)
“The night also is thine.”
Psalm 74:16
Yes, Lord, thou dost not abdicate thy throne when the sun goeth down, nor dost thou leave the world all through these long wintry nights to be the prey of evil; thine eyes watch us as the stars, and thine arms surround us as the zodiac belts the sky. The dews of kindly sleep and all the influences of the moon are in thy hand, and the alarms and solemnities of night are equally with thee. This is very sweet to me when watching through the midnight hours, or tossing to and fro in anguish. There are precious fruits put forth by the moon as well as by the sun: may my Lord make me to be a favoured partaker in them.
The night of affliction is as much under the arrangement and control of the Lord of Love as the bright summer days when all is bliss. Jesus is in the tempest. His love wraps the night about itself as a mantle, but to the eye of faith the sable robe is scarce a disguise. From the first watch of the night even unto the break of day the eternal Watcher observes his saints, and overrules the shades and dews of midnight for his people’s highest good. We believe in no rival deities of good and evil contending for the mastery, but we hear the voice of Jehovah saying, “I create light and I create darkness; I, the Lord, do all these things.”
Gloomy seasons of religious indifference and social sin are not exempted from the divine purpose. When the altars of truth are defiled, and the ways of God forsaken, the Lord’s servants weep with bitter sorrow, but they may not despair, for the darkest eras are governed by the Lord, and shall come to their end at his bidding. What may seem defeat to us may be victory to him.
“Though enwrapt in gloomy night,
We perceive no ray of light;
Since the Lord himself is here,
‘Tis not meet that we should fear.”
Mercies, New every Morning ( by Fenny West)
Mercies, New every Morning
I need each and everyday;
More so when it’s tough-going
I know Jesus is the Way.
When the storms of life storm in,
I know my redeemer lives.
When the earth starts caving in,
Hidden in Christ, in God, is my life.
His compassion will not fail,
So I will not go under.
By His grace I shall prevail,
By the power that is higher.
I shall not debunk my confidence
In a God Who’s always at hand.
His presence makes a difference.
This truth I well understand.
His faithfulness is so great.
His nearness is so real.
His promises are so great;
Precious, none can steal.
So regardless of how I feel,
I know whom I have believed.
His goodness is very real.
My expectation shall be received.
‘…His compassions…are new every morning…’ LAMENTATIONS 3:22-23

What is God’s Best?
What is God’s Best?
What is God’s Best
Amidst the test?
Not what I think
But what He thinks.
Not what friends say
But what He says
Lord, not my will
But just your will.
Let your glory be
And your power be
Lord, increase in me
Help me to decrease.
Looking through your eyes
May I see the prize
Despite the demise
And rise, Pay the Price!
17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
Col3:17
13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Phil3:13-14

In the Beginning by Fenny West
In the Beginning
In the beginning He was.
Before the Beginning He was
At the end He will be
And after the end
He will continue to be
Because He has no Beginning
And has no end.
He initiated all things
Brought all things into being.
All things depend on Him
But He depends on nothing
Nothing was without Him
Nothing will be without Him
All things answer to Him
Because He is the King of Kings
All Lords are subject to Him
Because He is the Lord of Lords
Principalities and powers are subject to Him
Because He is the head of all principalities and powers
All peoples are subject to Him
Because He created all- great and small.
Every knee shall bow to Him
And every tongue shall confess Him
As Lord to the glory of the Father.
, 5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.
24 “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
John17:5,24,
2 in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,
Tit1:2,
9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,
2 Tim.1:9
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Gen.1:1
3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
Heb1:3
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
Col1:15-17
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
John1:1-4
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.John8:58
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”Rev1:8
The created world is but a small parenthesis in eternity

The God of Wood
The god of wood
Or god of gold
They’re one and same
They’re a shame.
They’re millstones
Cause you to drown;
Stumbling blocks
To the Rock;
Deceive, ensnare
Destroy, are tares,
They blind the eyes,
Cause you to die.
