PUT GOD FIRST

Those Who Put God Last in Life

Will have a life that will not last

They will be eluded by abundant life

And will short-change themselves of the best.

Putting God last in life

Is putting the cart before the horse

And that will be a troubled life-

Life that invites, welcomes a curse.

The wise man hears, adheres and becomes wiser

The foolish man hears, ignores and falls down

The wise man hears, takes counsel and becomes better

The foolish man hears, scorns and is soon overthrown.

³³But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matt6:33

⁷The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction. Prov.1:7

⁵      Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.

⁶      Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you.

⁷      Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.

⁸      Exalt her, and she will promote you; She will bring you honor, when you embrace her.

⁹      She will place on your head an ornament of grace; A crown of glory she will deliver to you.”

¹⁰   Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, And the years of your life will be many.

Prov4:5-10

¹³   Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.
