Let’s Go To the Other Side

Was the word of the Master

So no matter what betide

I will surely and steadily cross over.

Let’s Go To the Other Side

The Land flowing with milk and honey.

SO regardless of the storm on the ocean wide

I am coming back with a testimony.

Let’s Go To the Other Side

Is the word of my Maker

What more do I need when He’s on my side?

I will therefore go higher and higher.

Let’s Go To the Other Side

If He says ‘Yes’ who can say ‘No’?

So on this mountain I will ride.

Regardless of  the Goliaths or foes.

Let’s Go To the Other Side

Come storm, wind or fire

In the word of God I will abide

Until I obtain His and my desire.

Let’s Go To the Other Side

God’s word will never fail

I will stand even when I am tried

And on eagle’s wings I will assail.

Let Us Go to the Other Side

That other shall be my portion

So I see with the eyes of faith, the other side

And press on and on despite the opposition.

8       Now the just shall live by faith;

      But if anyone draws back,

My soul has no pleasure in him.”

17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2Cor5:7

35   On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.”36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him.37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling.38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”

39   Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.40 But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?”41 And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”

1     Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes.

19   Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”

20   So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

“With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Life has its twists and turns.

When it deals you a big blow,

Don’t lie down, play dead or run.

Pick yourself up and continue the show.

If God is for you who can be against you?

There are more with you than are against you.

Even what you think is against you

Is secretly working for you.

It did for Joseph. It will for you

It did for Paul. It will for you

It did for David. It will for you.

It did for Jesus. It will for you.

Genesis 8: Noah’s Deliverance

1     Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.

29        And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities in which Lot had dwelt.Gen19:29

Sarah remembered

Genesis 21: Isaac Is Born

  1. And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken.Rebekah was remembered

21        Now Isaac pleaded with the LORD for his wife, because she was barren; and the LORD granted his plea, and Rebekah his wife conceived.Gen25:21

Rachel remembered

Joseph remembered

Joseph’s Rise to Power

37   So the advice was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants.

38   And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?”

39   Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.

40   You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.”

41   And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”

42   Then Pharaoh took his signet ring off his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand; and he clothed him in garments of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck.

43   And he had him ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried out before him, “Bow the knee!” So he set him over all the land of Egypt.

44   Pharaoh also said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, and without your consent no man may lift his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.”

45   And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnath-Paaneah. And he gave him as a wife Asenath, the daughter of Poti-Pherah priest of On. So Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.

Mordecai remembered

Esther 6: The King Honors Mordecai

1     That night the king could not sleep. So one was commanded to bring the book of the records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.

2     And it was found written that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s eunuchs, the doorkeepers who had sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus.

3     Then the king said, “What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?” And the king’s servants who attended him said, “Nothing has been done for him.”

9     Then let this robe and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king’s most noble princes, that he may array the man whom the king delights to honor. Then parade him on horseback through the city square, and proclaim before him: ‘Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!’ “

10   Then the king said to Haman, “Hurry, take the robe and the horse, as you have suggested, and do so for Mordecai the Jew who sits within the king’s gate! Leave nothing undone of all that you have spoken.”

11        So Haman took the robe and the horse, arrayed Mordecai and led him on horseback through the city square, and proclaimed before him, “Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!”

Hannah Remembered

Samuel Is Born and Dedicated

19        Then they rose early in the morning and worshiped before the LORD, and returned and came to their house at Ramah. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the LORD remembered her.1Sam1:19

God Will Remember Zion

14   But Zion said, “The LORD has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten me.”

15   ” Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.

16   See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.

27   Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel: ” My way is hidden from the LORD, And my just claim is passed over by my God”?

28   Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

29   He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.

30   Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,

31   But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

26   Put Me in remembrance; Let us contend together; State your case, that you may be acquitted.

10        For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Heb10:6

57   But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58   Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Covenant caused Mephiboseth to be remembered. God will remember you too because of the new covenant established on better promises.

2 Samuel 9: David’s Kindness to Mephibosheth

1     Now David said, “Is there still anyone who is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan’s sake?”

7     So David said to him, “Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.”

Fear Not

Fear not because God is with you, He is your shield and your abundant compensation. His presence shall go with you. When you go through the fire you will not burn and when you go through the water you will not drown. He will shield you and protect you as your Good Shepherd, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shammah and Jehovah Shalom.

Fear not because He has not given you a spirit of fear but that of love, power and a sound mind. He is always watching over you.

Fear not because if God is for you no one can be against you.

Fear not because He said ‘I am your God. I will help you. I will uphold you and retain you with My victorious Right Hand of rightness and justice. Jesus is your Advocate and will not lose your case.

Fear not because your life is hidden in Christ in God and no weapon fashioned against you will prosper. And every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong.

Fear not because God is on your side and He will fight for you and you will hold your peace. He will give you calm in the storm.

Fear not because the Lord is your light and your salvation and salvation belongs to Him and you belong to Him– the apple of His eyes.
In Him any Goliath or giant shall be mauled and felled and any wall of Jericho will fall down flat and you will enter your Promised Land flowing with milk and honey. And possess your possession.

With God ALL things are possible.

And ALL things are possible to those who believe.

Fear not! Have faith in God!

Face Fear with Faith in God
And favour will follow you
The fear that stares you now
Will disappear like mirage.

Faith in God is nor misplaced
It will bring parting of seas
It will bring water from rock
Make your enemy your friend.

Faith in God will lift you high-
High to a New Dimension
Of New Possibilities;
New heights of accomplishments.

Faith in God will move mountains
And make your dreams to come true
Your Goliath will fall down.
And you will do valiantly.

Genesis 15:

God’s Covenant with Abram

1 After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Josh1:9

13 And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.

10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

Isaiah 43:

The Redeemer of Israel

1 But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: ” Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.

2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever. Ps23:4-6

On the Road to Greatness ( by Fenny West)

road1 roadA1 road6 road3 road2

On the road to greatness
There will be great trials
Temptations and tribulations-
All triggers and catalysts of greatness.

Great trials spell great triumphs.
Great valleys spell great victories.
Great barriers birth great breakthroughs.
Great battles bring great miracles.

On the road to greatness
there will be Goliaths,
bears, hyenas and lions.
They will taunt, try, frighten,
Intimidate, growl and howl.

On the road to greatness
There will be crosses to carry
But yes, you can by His
all-sufficient grace,
goodness and loving-kindness.
You will not go under for going over.
You will run through
troops and leap over walls.

You must ‘be still and now that I am God.’
You must be strong and be not afraid nor be dismayed,
because I am with you wherever you go.
Even when you walk through
the valley of the shadow of death,
fear no evil because I am with you.
You must know, that you know,
that you know, that those who
know their God shall be strong
and they shall do great exploits.
You must remember that weeping
may endure but joy is coming
in the morning. You must remember
that I am your shield and
your exceeding great reward.
You must not cast away your confidence,
knowing that there is a great reward
for walking by faith and not by sight.
You must know that I have engraved you
on the palm of My hand and will never forget you.
When you are hard-pressed
know that you will not be crushed
because your life is hidden in Christ in God.
And no weapon fashioned against you
shall prosper and every tongue that rises
against you in judgement
you shall show to be in the wrong.
Fear not at such times
because I am your Refuge
and your ever-present help in trouble.
Call upon Me in the day of trouble
and I will deliver you and you will glorify Me.
Be not anxious about anything but in everything
by prayer and petition let your request be made known to Me.
And my peace which transcends all understanding
will mount guard over your heart
and your mind in Christ Jesus.
Through our God we shall do valiantly.
Not by might nor by power but by my Spirit.
If God be for you, who can be against you?
You can do all things through Christ
who strengthen you. He who began a good work
in you will continue to work
at it until He brings it to a glorious finale.
All things are possible to those who believe.
God is working in you both to will
and to do according to His good pleasure.
Know that the Lord is your light
and your salvation and salvation belongs
to Him. He will fight for you and you will hold your peace.

No Blessing Too Lofty For Thee

Hebrews 13:5

I will never leave thee.

 I am with You always

No promise is of private interpretation. Whatever God has said to any one saint, He has said to all. When He opens a well for one, it is that all may drink. When He openeth a granary-door to give out food, there may be some one starving man who is the occasion of its being opened, but all hungry saints may come and feed too. Whether He gave the word to Abraham or to Moses, matters not, O believer; He has given it to thee as one of the covenanted seed. There is not a high blessing too lofty for thee, nor a wide mercy too extensive for thee. Lift up now thine eyes to the north and to the south, to the east and to the west, for all this is thine. Climb to Pisgah’s top, and view the utmost limit of the divine promise, for the land is all thine own. There is not a brook of living water of which thou mayst not drink. If the land floweth with milk and honey, eat the honey and drink the milk, for both are thine. Be thou bold to believe, for He hath said, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”In this promise, God gives to His people everything. “I will never leave thee.” Then no attribute of God can cease to be engaged for us. Is He mighty? He will show Himself strong on the behalf of them that trust Him. Is He love? Then with lovingkindness will He have mercy upon us. Whatever attributes may compose the character of Deity, every one of them to its fullest extent shall be engaged on our side. To put everything in one, there is nothing you can want, there is nothing you can ask for, there is nothing you can need in time or in eternity, there is nothing living, nothing dying, there is nothing in this world, nothing in the next world, there is nothing now, nothing at the resurrection-morning, nothing in heaven which is not contained in this text-“I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Who says you’re too old to dream?

Who says you’re too old to dream?

dream 2

Dreams are not negotiable;

They are not debatable

You have to seize them;

Take the bull by the horn!

And be what you were called to be.

Dream Big!

If your dream does not frighten you

It is not big enough.

If your dream does not go

beyond you, it is too small.

Go back to the drawing board.
