Supplanted, Not Supplemented;
With a New Life, not a New leaf.
New species, New Creature
Not made over, not improved.
The Old has gone and the New has come.

I was alien to God but now a friend of God
I was dead in sin but now alive to righteousness
I was a child of disobedience but now a child of obedience
I was an object of wrath but now an object of love
I was rejected but now accepted in the Beloved.
I was dead and stank like Lazarus but now resurrected with Zoe, the life of God –

the old life supplanted-not supplemented.
I was not just in darkness but darkness itself.
Now I am the Light of the world
A city on a hill that cannot be hidden
Now I am the salt if the earth
I was under a curse but now blessed with the blessing of Abraham,

blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places.
I am blessed to be a blessing, a Solution Centre.
I am healed to bring healing to my world.
I am saved to reach out to reconcile others. I am a man with a mission.

I have a purpose – driven life.

Now I have the life of God
Now I am a New Creation
Now I am a son of God
Now I am a citizen of heaven.
Now I am in this world
But I am not of this world.
When Jesus was crucified
I was crucified with Him
When He was buried
I was buried with Him
When He was raised
I was raised up with Him
And when was enthroned
I was enthroned with Him

I am now sitting with Him
Far above principalities and powers.
Above every throne, above every name.
I am reigning with Him
He is the Head
I am His body
I am His temple
I am His voice
His hands and feet.
I carry divinity in my humanity
I am a peculiar person
of the chosen generation
Of the royal priesthood.
I am born again
Born to reign
Born to praise.
Born to shine
Born to win
Born to bring glory
To the Lord of glory
As He is so am I in this world.
