Salvation is as simple as A, B, C

It is not a product of what you do but what has been done on Calvary’s Cross.

Jesus paid the price for you and I. It is a free gift of life- not of works, lest any should boast.

Only Jesus can save- not good works.

All you need to do is to surrender your life to Jesus.

How?

Acknowledge that You are a sinner by nature and all your righteousness is not good enough to save you.

(Going to church does not make you a Christian- In fact, Jesus did not come to make us Christians but He came to make us disciples- followers of Him. Being born in a barn does not make you a sheep.

Believe that He died for you- for your justification and redemption and salvation.

Confess Jesus as Lord of Your life. Commit your life to Him. Call on Him to come and take His rightful place – at the centre of your heart.

Pray this simple prayer:

Father, I come this day to your throne of Grace.

I acknowledge that I cannot save myself; only Jesus can, and He has done the deed on the cross when He died.

I accept that perfect sacrifice, even now.

Come into to my life, Lord Jesus and take your rightful place. You said whoever comes to you, will not be turned away. It is also written, “As many as received Him, He gave the power to become children of God.”

You said in your Word, with the heart one believes and is made righteous and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

I believe with my heart that Jesus is my Saviour and my Lord. I confess Him as Lord of my life from this day.

I am born again. The old has gone and the new has come. I am a New Creation. The Life of God is now resident in me. I have passed from death unto life.

Thank You, Lord, for saving me.

I thank God I am born again.

Jesus died in my place, took my sin away and bridged the gap between me and God.

Confessed Jesus as my Lord and Saviour and invited Him to come into my life. (Romans10:9-10,13)

And as a result of this quality decision:

I was born again, the old went and the new came, according to the scriptures

My name was written in the book of life

I am now part of the Body of Christ –the Church -looking forward to His return.

I am now a child of God and a citizen of heaven.

The Holy Spirit is my Helper, Standby, Teacher, Comforter, Strengthener and Guide.

God is not just my God, He is my Father in heaven.

I do not have religion but a relationship with Him
