The Last Shall Be the First

Because in Him they trust

for His word is their quest

And for His Spirit, they thirst

The last shall be the first

Because of God’s favour

No more fruitless labour

Their promotion will come

Their elevation will come.

The last shall be the first

As they wait on the Lord

Seek His Kingdom first

Give priority to God’s word.

The last shall be the first

Taken from the back of the queue

To the front of the queue

Suddenly baptised with excellence

Suddenly transported to pre-eminence

Suddenly translated into prominence.

 

 

16  So the last will be first , and the first last.   For   many are called , but few chosen.” Matt.20:16 10

Therefore , brethren , be even more diligent to make your call and election sure , for if you do these things you will never stumble; 2Pet1:10

Believers Are Salt and Light 

13  “You are the salt of the earth;   but if the salt loses its flavor , how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. 14  “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.  Matt5:13-14
