In This Jar of Clay

In this jar of clay

There is glorious hay

Sufficient for any day

More so in these closing days.

In this jar of clay

Jesus makes a way

Even as I pray

I will not stray.

In this jar of clay

What is grey is gold

That’s why I am bold

Old wine is vintage

Gives me an advantage.

Come from the Holy Spirit.

In this jar of clay

There is much fruit

To delight and satisfy

Empower and mystify

In this jar of clay

There is great treasure-

Treasure of darkness;

Hidden riches in secret places;

The abundance of the seas.

 

 

⁷But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.⁸ We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;⁹ persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed 2Cor4:7-9

       And make the crooked places straight;

       I will break in pieces the gates of bronze

       And cut the bars of iron.

³       I will give you the treasures of darkness

       And hidden riches of secret places,

       That you may know that I, the LORD,
