The Lord is my Light

And He is my might

Wherever I am

He’s the Great I AM

Who’s Ever-present

And Pre-eminent.

 

So what shall I fear

Or whom shall I fear?

He’s more than able

To turn the table.

He’s good all the time

Faithful all the time.

He’s my Salvation

And my Protection

Through thick and through thin.

Desirous that I win.

He will not leave me,

Will not forsake me.

 

I can count on Him

And depend on Him

Every day and night

But not by my might.

He will take me through

Give me a breakthrough.
