Family feuds just feeds fat the foe
Who lurks, unseen in the background
He plays on the field of the mind
With the aim to run all aground.
Give him an inch and he’ll take a mile
Luring you to return fire for fire
As he referees all with a sinister smile
Championing hate and unforgiveness mire.
So now pray for God to guard your lips
To allow only rivers of love and peace
To abound, overflow avoiding a slip
That will blow apart and poison release.
“Lord, make me an instrument of peace and not of war”
36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.
