The Lord Guides
Where He presides
As we inquire
Seek Him in prayer.
Joshua was shocked
Ai defeat rocked
He fell on His face
And saw God’s Face.
Moses was worried
And tarried
Cried to the Holy:
‘Show me Your glory!’
God gave His presence
Which was his defence
Brought great confidence
Far from pretence.
Jehoshaphat feared
As foes overwhelmed
He fasted and prayed
And God prevailed.
God gave strategy
Against the enemy:
Praising, singing!
Preceding conquering.
David when cornered
Sought God, enquired
God directed
And protected.
