No Room In the Inn

No Room in the Inn

The lights glimmered

Glistened and beamed

Spelling HOPE

From the God of Hope.

The long awaited Light

To light the lives of men

In sight, but in a barn.

Why?

No room in the inn

Hope of the world was here

Yet no room in the inn

Joy of the world had appeared

Yet no room in the inn!

Is the Most High speaking?

What is God saying?

Is there room in your in?

Is there room in my inn?

Hope expected dawned

With His key prison opened

Prisoners in Satan’s cage freed-

Freed whosoever willed.

Humankind has a will

Given in love by the King

That will, each must wield

Beckoning to be freed

If we will dance and sing

Yield as you wield that will

And He will thaw that chill

Bring you into His cozy bosom

Out of darkness into His Sun.

6      So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered.

7      And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Glory in the Highest

8      Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night.

9      And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid.

10    Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.

11    For there is born to you this day in the city ofDavid a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

12    And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”

13    And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:

14    ” Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” Luke2:6-14

Lord, may you find room in my inn

Blot away, cleanse me of all sin

To you and you alone I belong

And for you and you alone I long.

Away with all hustle and bustle

Chasing of the wind and struggles

Bring me, Lord, to a place of worship

A place of communion and fellowship.

Open my eyes to see beyond the seen

Dam the door to devil, keep self clean

Open my door to the Door of Hope

My Lord and King , the God of Hope.
