‘Since no work is coming in, are you on dole?’

Lord, I am so grateful that my job is not my source

Just as the faucet through which water comes is not the reservoir

Therefore I look to You to supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  Because You preside over my life, You will provide.  I refuse to worry, but put my trust in You.

It is You who gives me the power to get wealth. It is You who makes a road I the wilderness. Guide me, O Lord, to my green pasture and still waters. Amen

 Philippians 4:19

New King James Version (NKJV)

19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Luke 6:38

New King James Version (NKJV)

38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Psalm 23:1-6

New King James Version (NKJV)

Psalm 23

A Psalm of David.

 1 The LORD is my shepherd;
         I shall not want.
 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
         He leads me beside the still waters.
 3 He restores my soul;
         He leads me in the paths of righteousness
         For His name’s sake.

 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
         I will fear no evil;
         For You are with me;
         Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
         You anoint my head with oil;
         My cup runs over.
 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
         All the days of my life;
         And I will dwell[a] in the house of the LORD
         Forever.

Psalm 103:1-6

New King James Version (NKJV)

Psalm 103

A Psalm of David.

 1 Bless the LORD, O my soul;
         And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
         And forget not all His benefits:
 3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
         Who heals all your diseases,
 4 Who redeems your life from destruction,
         Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
         So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
      That there may be food in My house,
      And try Me now in this,”
      Says the LORD of hosts,

      “ If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
      And pour out for you such blessing
      That there will not be room enough to receive it.

‘Since no work is coming in, are you on dole?’

Just as the faucet through which water comes is not the reservoir
