3 To console those who mourn in Zion , To give them beauty for ashes , The oil of joy for mourning , The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;  That they may be called trees of righteousness , The planting of the Lord , that He may be glorified.” Isa61:3

The Gentiles Bless Zion    1 Arise , shine;  For your light has come!  And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. Isa60:1 17

Therefore , if anyone is in Christ , he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold , all things have become new. 2Cor.5:17 11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you , says the Lord , thoughts of peace and not of evil , to give you a future and a hope. Jer29:11

34 My covenant I will not break , Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips. Ps 89:34

5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You , Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.   6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca , They make it a spring;  The rain also covers it with pools.   7 They go from strength to strength;  Each one appears before God in Zion. Ps84:5-7

A Perpetual Covenant of Peace

1 “Sing , O barren , You who have not borne!  Break forth into singing , and cry aloud , You who have not labored with child!  For more are the children of the desolate  Than the children of the married woman , ” says the Lord.   2 “Enlarge the place of your tent , And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings;  Do not spare;  Lengthen your cords , And strengthen your stakes.   3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left , And your descendants will inherit the nations , And make the desolate cities inhabited.   4 “Do not fear , for you will not be ashamed;  Neither be disgraced , for you will not be put to shame;  For you will forget the shame of your youth , And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore. Isa54:1-4

10 And the Lord restored Job’s losses when He prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as He had before. Job42:10

The Hope Laid Up in Heaven ( by Fenny West)

The Hope Laid Up in Heaven
Is  only for citizens;
The saints clothe in righteousness;
Those who have His Lordship confessed.

The Hope laid up on the other side
Is for none other than Christ’s Bride.
So let us all keep our garment clean
To meet the Bridegroom as the Queen.

The Hope laid up at the Judgement Seat
Is not for the chaff but for the wheat.
It is not for the goats but for the sheep;
The moment we all with joy will leap.

5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment , Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout , with the voice of an archangel , and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

I Am Coming Quickly
20 He who testifies to these things says ,  “Surely I am coming quickly.” ;  Amen. Even so , come , Lord Jesus!
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Your Gift Has Come to Lift (By Fenny West)

Your Gift Has Come to Lift

 hs 7 hs 10 hs 11 hs 1

You gift has come to lift

And not to damn or mock

To let it give a lift,

Begin to work with it.

Give thanks for what you have

Begin to hone the gift.

Use what you have to serve

And you will see your lift.

Your gift in jar of clay

Treasure beyond measure.

Enough for any day

You give and you get more.

Begin to fan ablaze

The fire that is you

Use it all of your days

Your gift is not for you.

Wait on the gift and bloom

And men will see your boom.

You’ll grow, glow and blossom

And God will make more you give room.

The more you give the more you get.

So let go of yourself

And don’t allow a let

But just deny yourself.

  1. Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.15 Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.1Tim4:14-15

Dive into the Depths

Charles H. Spurgeon

“But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.”

Luke 2:19

There was an exercise, on the part of this blessed woman, of three powers of her being: her memory — she kept all these things; her affections — she kept them in her heart; her intellect — she pondered them; so that memory, affection, and understanding, were all exercised about the things which she had heard. Beloved, remember what you have heard of your Lord Jesus, and what he has done for you; make your heart the golden pot of manna to preserve the memorial of the heavenly bread whereon you have fed in days gone by.

Let your memory treasure up everything about Christ which you have either felt, or known, or believed, and then let your fond affections hold him fast for evermore. Love the person of your Lord! Bring forth the alabaster box of your heart, even though it be broken, and let all the precious ointment of your affection come streaming on his pierced feet. Let your intellect be exercised concerning the Lord Jesus. Meditate upon what you read: stop not at the surface; dive into the depths. Be not as the swallow which toucheth the brook with her wing, but as the fish which penetrates the lowest wave.

Abide with your Lord: let him not be to you as a wayfaring man, that tarrieth for a night, but constrain him, saying, “Abide with us, for the day is far spent.” Hold him, and do not let him go. The word “ponder,” means to weigh. Make ready the balances of judgment. Oh, but where are the scales that can weigh the Lord Christ? “He taketh up the isles as a very little thing:” — who shall take him up? “He weigheth the mountains in scales” — in what scales shall we weigh him? Be it so, if your understanding cannot comprehend, let your affections apprehend; and if your spirit cannot compass the Lord Jesus in the grasp of understanding, let it embrace him in the arms of affection.
