Arise, Dr. MINISTER.
You are an Able Minister.

For this purpose you were called.

For this purpose you were born.

For this reason God created you.

For this purpose He ordained you.

He did not call the qualified

But He qualified the called.

So what are you waiting for?

Who are you waiting for?

He uses foolish things

To confound the wise.

If He’s in you,and for you

 you have what it takes.

Start from your Jerusalem.

Open your mouth and see

How I will fill it with light and life

Open your eyes and see the lost.

Open your heart let me pour My love-

Love that reaches out to the lost.

Reach out as my hands and feet.

Reach out as my mega phone

Reach out as my Voice on earth

Reach out as My ambassador

Reach out as My minister-able

Reach out as my epistle, My message

the good news, My letter of love.

Go to the high ways and byways.

Go to the nooks and crannies.

Go and open the eyes of the blind.

Go and heal those who are sick.

Go and lift out those depressed,

Diseased, disillusioned, down and out.

Go and lift those in the ditch of life –

Hopeless, hapless, clueless, purposeless.

Speak the word of life.

Speak the Word of Grace.

Speak the dynamic Word

That is Spirit and life.

Speak with Boldness.

Speak with conviction.

Tell your testimony.

Tell of  My goodness.

Tell of My faithfulness.

Tell of My kindness.

Tell of My gentleness

Speak of My greatness.

Speak of My love.

Speak of My Grace.

Speak of My peace.

Speak of My joy.

Speak of My plan for man.

Speak of the sacrifice accomplished

Speak of My invitation.

Minister Grace,

Minister healing

Minister love

Minister compassion

Minister life more abundant

Minister peace profound

Minister Godly wisdom.

Minister Divine Direction.

Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.Mark16:15-19

1John4:17

Acts1:82 Corinthians 3:6

“Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.”

Acts 26:18

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”

“Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.”

2Cor.5:18-20

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

2 Kings 7:9

“Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.”

The Good News of Christmas
by Rick Warren

“There is only one God, and Christ Jesus is the only one who can bring us to God. Jesus was truly human, and he gave himself to rescue all of us.” (1 Timothy 2:5 CEV)

Christmas is all about good news. But it’s not the good news of special gifts. It’s not the good news of a big meal. It’s not even the good news of spending time with friends and family.

Christmas is about the Good News of God’s love.

The Bible says all of us are lost without God. We’re directionless. We’re without protection. Our potential eternal impact upon the world is unrealized. We’re without real joy. Our eternity in Heaven isn’t secure.

The Good News about Christmas is that God sent Jesus to seek and save the lost. The Bible says, “There is only one God, and Christ Jesus is the only one who can bring us to God. Jesus was truly human, and he gave himself to rescue all of us” (1 Timothy 2:5 CEV).

If you’ve ever spent time in church, you’ve likely heard the word “salvation” many times. But you may not know what it means. The word is like a diamond; you can look at it from many different angles.

  • Jesus came to rescue us. We can’t solve all of our problems on our own. Without Jesus, we’re trapped in the expectations of others. We’re trapped in living for the approval of our peers. We’re trapped in addictions. We’ve tried to change over and over again, but we don’t have the power needed to escape. Jesus came to give us that power.

  • Jesus came to recover us. We all long to recover parts of our lives that have been lost. Without Christ, we long to recover our strength, our confidence, our reputation, our innocence, and our relationship with God. Only Jesus can do that.

  • Jesus came to reconnect us. Many people think that God will scold them if they come back to him. But God isn’t mad at you. He’s mad about you. Jesus came to Earth on the first Christmas to reconcile us to God, to give us harmony with him again.

Jesus came to Earth to give us the gift of himself. Too many of us celebrate his birthday without accepting this free gift of salvation. It goes unwrapped year after year after year. That’s not smart! You were made by God and for God. Until you understand that, life will never make sense.

This Christmas, open up the most important present you’ve been given: a new relationship with God through Jesus.

Talk It Over

  • Which of the above facets of salvation has been the most important in your relationship with God? Why?
  • How can you “unwrap” God’s gift of Jesus this Christmas? In what ways can you tell others about this gift?
  • What can you do to better celebrate Jesus’ birthday?

God’s Acceptance: You Already Have It! by Rick Warren

“If God says his chosen ones are acceptable to him, can anyone bring charges against them? Or can anyone condemn them? No indeed!” (Romans 8:33-34)

Most of us spend our entire lives trying to earn acceptance. We want to earn it from our parents, peers, partners in life, from people we respect, maybe even from people we envy. The drive to be accepted is a deep drive that can influence the kind of clothes you wear, the kind of car you drive, the kind of house you buy, and even the career you choose.

Remember how, as a kid, you wanted so badly to be in the in-crowd that someone would say to you, “I dare you to do this” and suggest something that was either stupid or that put your personal safety at risk. But you did it anyway, because your desire to be accepted overruled the desire for safety.

We do it because we love the feeling of being accepted. When you’re accepted, it does tremendous things for your self-esteem. The truth is, Jesus accepts you, and that acceptance is not based on your performance. In fact, you may have received Christ and accepted Jesus into your life, but do you realize that you’re able to do that because Jesus accepted you? You don’t have to earn his acceptance; you don’t have to prove yourself to him.

We need to stop thinking, “I’ve got an un-pleaseable God up there, and I’ve got to be a good boy or good girl to be accepted.” God, through Jesus Christ, has already accepted you. That’s the Good News!

Talk About It

  • Knowing God accepts you sets you free from always being worried about being accepted by others. Why should criticism bother you if the Creator of the universe accepts you?

  • Knowing God accepts you helps you to accept others: “Therefore, accept each other in the same way that Christ accepted you. He did this to bring glory to God” (Romans 15:7 GW).
