How Do You See ( Fenny West)
How Do You See
https://youtu.be/hqHlIRZnF38
What we take for granted
Is longed for by many.
O that we would be grateful,
Count all our blessings,
Name them one by one,
Give glory to the Holy One,
For His love, goodness and kindness.
When you see through the eyes of God,
You will be greeted with such joy, awe,
Dumbfounded, exhilarated and elated.
Lord, help me to see through Your eyes.
Fixing Your Focus ( by Fenny West)
Fixing Your Focus
Fixing your Focus
Requires discipline;
When you’re single-minded
Like Mary who focused on Jesus;
Like Paul who forgot the past
And looked to what was ahead
And pressed on for Mark
Of the prize 🏆 of the High Calling.
Fixing your Focus.
Requires full attention
And determination
Avoiding distraction,
Like Nehemiah,
Refusing to give in to
Sanballat, Tobiah
And others cohorts.
Fixing Your Focus
Requires imitation
Of the Master
Who defied vilification
And the crucifixion.
And prayed for His enemies
And bore the shame and pain
For the purpose, He was born.
Fixing your focus
When seeking God’s face
Will bring His grace
And divine Direction.
The Holy Spirit will
Give you instruction
Guidance and counsel
As He speaks to you.
Hebrews 12:2
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Nehemiah 6:4
“Yet they sent unto me four times after this sort; and I answered them after the same manner.”
1 Corinthians 9:27
“But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”
2 that Sanballat and Geshem sent to me, saying, “Come, let us meet together among the villages in the plain of Ono.” But they thought to do me harm.
3 So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?”
4 But they sent me this message four times, and I answered them in the same manner.
5 Then Sanballat sent his servant to me as before, the fifth time, with an open letter in his hand.

FOCUS(1) (by Fenny West)
Focus(1)
Following hard after God
One thing I desire
Concentrating on that one thing
Until I
Succeed
12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.Phil3:12-14
21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.
22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!”
23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”
Matt16:21-23
8 My soul follows close behind You;
Your right hand upholds me.
Ps63:8
24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.
1Cor8:24-27
8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshu1:8
Focusing to Finish With Finesse (by Fenny West)
Focusing to finish with finesse
Focusing to finish with finesse
is my dream and determination
regardless of the enemy’s mess
I’m fired to debunk distraction.
My eyes are on Jesus Who’s in charge
He is the Author and Finisher.
I will not mind the foes that are at large.
I trust the Alpha and Omega.
I refuse to yield to distraction;
Be it of jealousy or disdain.
They will all lead to my promotion.
My difficulties will bring a gain.
Surely, I know that my God is faithful.
He will complete the work He’s begun.
Without a doubt my God is powerful.
Therefore my victory will run and run.
I declare war on the adversary
Yet, it’s not by might nor by power
God will propel me into victory.
My faith is, there’s a higher power.
Eye has not seen and ear has not heard
The matchless things He will do for me.
Therefore I hold on to what I’ve heard.
If He’s for me, who can be against me?
Ro8:31,32,37-39
Isaiah 50
7 ” For the Lord GOD will help Me; Therefore I will not be disgraced; Therefore I have set My face like a flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed.
Ezekiel 3
9 Like adamant stone, harder than flint, I have made your forehead; do not be afraid of them, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.”
17 ” Therefore prepare yourself and arise,
And speak to them all that I command you.
Do not be dismayed before their faces,
Lest I dismay you before them.
18 For behold, I have made you this day
A fortified city and an iron pillar,
And bronze walls against the whole land —
Against the kings of Judah,
Against its princes,
Against its priests,
And against the people of the land.
19 They will fight against you,
But they shall not prevail against you.
For I am with you,” says the LORD, “to deliver you.”
Jeremiah 17-19
21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.
22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!”
23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”
Matt16
59 Then He said to another, “Follow Me.”
But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”
60 Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God.”
61 And another also said, “Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.”
62 But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
Luke9:59-62
24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.
1Cor9:24-27
1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb12:1-2
The Road to True Greatness ( Fenny West)
The Road to True Greatness
Begins with Jesus
Taking rightful place
Communing with Him
Hearing His voice
Doing His will
Driven by purpose
Paying the price
To get the prize
The Road to greatness:
Fraught with challenges
Obstacles and uncertainties
Valley and mountains
Bears and lions
Goliaths and giants
Opposition and trials
Persecution and tribulation
But you forge on
As a champion
In the Name of the Son
Using the powerful word
Standing on the promises
Praying the promises
Taking steps of faith
Spending and being spent
Pushing and pressing
Till something happens
You dream big dreams
See beyond the seen
See through God’s eyes
Refusing to limit Him
Till your purpose is done.
Acts9, 2Cor11:23-12:10, Gen39,
41 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt. -41:41,
Neh1:11…. I was the king’s cupbearer.
5:14… 14 Moreover from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year even unto the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that is, twelve years, I and my brethren have not eaten the bread of the governor.
6:15 So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty and two days
30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.John19:30
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
2Tim4:6-8
Goals Give a Go! ( by Fenny West)
Saint, Run Your Race Well
Saint, Run Your Race well
With eternity in view
Keeping your eyes on the ball
Let nothing trip you.
Run with the Prize in mind
Avoid worldly distraction
Look ahead- not behind
Focus not on the opposition.
Learn to say ‘No’ to the flesh
When it tries to sabotage
Run so that you can finish
Maximise every advantage.
Employ good discipline
From the start to the end
That is the way to win
So let your success resound.

Run your Race of Grace Like Bolt
Run your Race of Grace Like Bolt
Run your Race of Grace like Bolt
Let no lightning or even thunder halt
Run with total determination and focus
Focus on the Author and Finisher-Jesus.
Run so well, avoiding every distraction
Run with face as flint despite opposition
Know that you know that God is with you
Know that you know that God is for you.
Yes, in this race of grace you may fall
But that is no reason for you to stall
You can get up, dust yourself and go again
With your hands in the hands of Jesus, you can reign.
Know that the table will turn for you to win
So do not give up because of temporary coffin
You are coming out because of the resurrection
You are coming out despite this temporary suppression.
Come Holy Spirit; Come Comforter
Come and revive, renew and empower
Without You, I can do nothing
But with you I can do anything.
run your race of grace like bolt
This is a gift for you

If you don’t step on water
You can’t walk on water.
Faith goes
Amidst Throes
And even Woes.
Faith trusts
It will not rust.
Faith fights
Goes beyond sight
If you remain in the boat
You cannot get God’s Coat
If you aim at nothing
You’ll sure hit it: Nothing!
If you have not failed
You have not sailed.
Your fear of failure
Mortgages your future.
So this year
Do not fear
Jehovah is near.
Advance and rise
Against any demise
