Greater Glory Coming ( by Fenny West)
Born a Beacon and an Icon ( by Fenny West)

You were born to be the head and not the tail- market leader, a champion, a beacon and an icon. Do not settle for anything less.
Therefore, do not frustrate the grace that is in you but increase your zeal and capacity by the power of the Holy Spirit, your Helper, Guide, Advocate, Teacher and Counselor. Enquire from Him how to go about anything each step of the way. He knows the end from the beginning. He desires to see you bring glory to your Maker and your God.
Aim to give Him your best and He will give you the enablement so to do. Your sufficiency is of Him. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. And as you partner with God, He will do exceeding abundantly, far above what you can ask or think or even dream of according to the power at work in you. He wants to work in you, with you and through you.
Acknowledge always that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. And has come to always cause you to triumph in whatever you put your hands to do. So, take the limits off Him by expecting the best. If you can think it, He can exceed it. Let this be your mentality and expectation. And the expectation of the righteous shall not be cut short or disappointed or short-circuited but surpassed.
Those that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as the eagle. They shall run and not grow weary. They shall walk and not faint. They shall see crystal clear from afar with an eagle eye. Yes, they will see beyond the seen- see through the eyes of God- and know what to do at every turn to get the most and the best out of their endeavours. Because of their diligence and quest for excellence, they will perform and head-hunted and not stand before mere men but amongst Kings, champions, leaders, chosen few and cream of the crop.
Be the Best ( by Fenny West)
2 Timothy 2:20, KJV: “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.”
Be the Best
Truths from this scripture:
1. God’s house is a great house.
2. This house is like the Body of Christ with many parts. 1Cor.12
From the scripture we also see that in any house there are different vessels, some of gold, others of silver, wood and earth. For instance there are plates that you use every day or frequently. There are other plates that you use on special occasions when you have guests. There are others, like a cup that can only be used for drinking tea and not for eating.
This akin to the house of God where we are parts of the Body of Christ equipped differently to perform various functions and so we are used for various occasions.
All the vessels are useful but not equally, just as all the parts of your body are useful but not equally.
Every child of God, is a precious Saint, blood bought, ransomed by the precious blood of Jesus. So if it was just that person lost in sin, Jesus would still come die for him. We were all purchased with a great price. Each one of us is greatly appreciated and loved. But we have different functions in the house of God according to our gifts and our purpose in Christ. We need to esteem our office and not allow anyone to despise us because of what we are assigned to do. Some assignments we will be given in life may at the time have little or no bearing with our ultimate assignment but could give us vital transferrable skills which we may not know at the time. Nevertheless, know your place and your office. You may not have a title; you may not be recognised, but that does not matter. Continue to do what you know you are called to do to the best of your ability. God is the ultimate Caller and Equipper. Be the best. If you do not have an assignment, find something and do. There is no spectator in God’s house. Join a department. You have talents and skills that can be deployed somewhere.
You have spiritual gifts that you need to discover, develop and deploy. Pray for the Holy Spirit to open the eyes of your spiritual understanding to see these endowments and your inheritance in Christ so you can begin to harness them to use for the edification of the body of Christ. Your gift is not for you to sit on. It is for the building up of others, just like other people’s gifts are to build you up. We need each other to achieve greater things.
No gift or talent comes fully developed. Do you need to work on your gift? Take some training to hone your gift. For instance there are many guitarists and singers but the stage that they are called to perform depends on how well they have trained and paid the price for the prize. Some of them can only be allowed to play in the cell meeting; others may be allowed in the children’s Church and others in the main Church and yet others at special major event that takes place at, say, Wembley arena or Excel Centre.
Have you seen a man who is diligent, proficient, excellent head over shoulders in what he does, he will be head-hunted and will not be in the company of mere men but with kings.
29 Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men. Prov.22:29
So where you perform is also partly in your hands. Hone your talent and you will be moved up, promoted. It is said, anything worth doing is what training for. Constantly assess, appraisal and improve your skills and talents. Add to your skills. Avoid complacency. Improve your education. Once you stop learning, decay sets in. It’s like riding a bicycle. Once you stop pedalling, sooner or later you will start slowing down or stall or stop.
In conclusion, to have been called into God’s great house, the General Assembly of Saints, the Church of Jesus Christ, the Body of Christ. Jesus is the Head and we are the Body. He is the Vine and we are the branches. (John15:5, 7, 16). He called us to bear much fruit and fruit that will remain and give glory to His name. He has gifted the Body with ministry gifts-people in the offices of Pastors, Apostles, Teachers, Evangelists and Prophets (Eph. 4:11-12). These have been given to build up the Church and various gifts are bestowed to them to function to the best of theirs ability. Each one needs to develop themselves after discovering their gifts. How far they go depends on them.
Similarly other members of the Body of Christ need to know their gift and place in the Body and give their utmost (1Cor.12:4-12). How far they are elevated and used in that capacity depends on them.
Let each one do whatever they do as unto the Lord (Col.3:17, 23). He gave His best to us and we should not give him less. He deserves our best. So be the best in your chosen field. Be a trend blazer and setter. Do not settle for mediocrity or half measures. Greatness is in your loins.
You are God’s workmanship created for good works. Remember the parable of the talents. Be like the man who traded with what he was given and doubled the return or yield. He had a great commendation: Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Know that you are not serving man but God.
His master said to him, Well done, you upright (honorable, admirable) and faithful servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little; I will put you in charge of much. Enter into and share the joy (the delight, the blessedness) which your master enjoys.
Matt.25:23
Expect your reward from Him. Be inspired by others but do not compete with them. We each have our race to run. Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus- the Author and Finisher of our faith. Run, with a goal in mind. Run in line with your purpose, assignment and dream. Refuse to be side-tracked. Run to finish with finesse, like Paul:
Paul’s Valedictory
6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. 2 Timothy 4:6-8
2 Timothy 2:20-21
The Message
20-21 In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets—some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage. Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing
Make Yourself Indispensable
I came across this story which I think is relevant to us.
“A man used to visit a tiny general store in the country. The proprietor has a clerk named Jake, who seemed to be the laziest man in the world. One day the man noticed that Jake was gone.
He asked the proprietor, “Where’s Jake?” “Oh, he retired,” was the answer. “Retired? Then what are you going to do to fill the vacancy?” The owner replied, “Jake didn’t leave no vacancy.”
That leads me to ask, “What kind of vacancy would there be in this church if you left?” It is God’s clear intention that every one of His people be used in serving the Lord Jesus Christ. He has given gifts to each one to be used as good stewards. And yet for so many that name the name of Christ, their faith is like football – an occasional Sunday spectator sport. They are not serving Christ day by day. But if you truly know Christ, you can’t be happy sitting on the bench or in the stands. You want to be in the game. Our text reveals the kind of person God uses. You may think that God uses people who have impressive abilities and gifts. While spiritual gifts play a part, they are not the main feature in being used by God. As we saw in the national news recently, a man may be a gifted Christian leader and yet bring terrible disgrace to the name of Christ. Or you may think that God uses a person who has been to seminary and has a lot of training. While seminary has its place, I know of many men who graduated from seminary, but they’re not even in the stadium, let alone in the game!
Or you may think that God uses a person who has a great knowledge of the Bible. While, as we saw last week, being careful students of the Bible is very important, it is not the main thing. You may be a renowned Bible scholar, and yet be detrimental to the cause of Jesus Christ.
The simple message of our text is that God uses cleansed people, who are defined by two characteristics:
God uses cleansed people who flee sin and pursue godliness (2 Timothy 2:20-22 The Person God Uses)”

Tools To Milk the Best Out of Life ( by Fenny West)
Tools for a Successful, Impactful and Illustrious Life
Maximise every moment (opportunity) timing
Ignore Naysayers (Positivity)
Leverage with your strengths
Know what matters to God (purpose)
Do You want to live your best life here?
Then take “MILK” with you. It is your veritable tool box with ‘must-haves’ for a successful sojourn through the terrains of this life.
Maximize the Moment (M)
The first tool you need in this box is “M“.
Life is no a dress rehearsal. It is for real.
God has given you an opportunity to live this life, so give it your best shot. Creation is eagerly waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. (Rom.8:19)
Jesus said “You are the light of this world. A city on a hill that cannot be hidden.” So wherever you go shine, illuminate the darkness you are bound to come across. Make a difference. Make a positive impact that is indelible; an impact that cannot be ignored. He said you are the salt of the earth. This means be a flavour-giving agent in your environment, your society, your nation, your work place, your industry, all your spheres of influence. Opportunities will come your way from time to time to rise above and let your light so shine that men might see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Do not shirk or waste such moments. ( Matt 5:13-16)
The next tool you need in this “box” is ‘I’
Ignore Negative People
Life is full of Naysayers- people who will always focus on the negatives. These are armchair critics. They never see the good thing about what you do. They rush to judgement and are quick to point out your faults.
Rather than being down-hearted by their fault finding, use them to rise, improve, excel; know that they are the unpaid guardians of your soul. They may mean evil by what they say or do but God intends to use it for your good. So don’t fight with them. Pray for them and thank God for using them to lift you to a higher dimension. Bless them whenever you have the opportunity.
Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith. Do whatever you do as unto Him. Give Him your best. Excel in what you do and you will be head-hunted and stand before Kings and not mere men.
8 For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these thing. Phil 4:8
The Message
8-9 Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.
Leverage with Your Strengths
We are all wired differently by our Maker. In His divine wisdom He gave us different gifts so that we can complement others. So do you know your gifts? If you don’t, find them out because no one is without gifts. You have a role to play, like the different parts of the body. When you have discovered your gift, fan it or fan them ablaze; develop them. No gift comes fully developed. Invest in yourself. Hone yourself. Work on your gift to give it full flame. Let it blossom and bloom.
And amongst your gifts, find out the dominant gifts and maximise them. Use them as your leverage in your relationships. Deploy your best gifts to bless others. Remember that your gifts are not yours to keep or hoard. Use it or them to bless others. We are blessed to be a blessing. It is true that not everyone will accept your gift. Let that not bother you. Remember, Jesus came to His own but they did not receive Him. So you are in good company. He still died for all humanity.
Just continue to be a blessing and your blessing will not cease.
Luke 6:38
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
38 Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour [a]into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you
Give away your life; you’ll find life given back, but not merely given back—given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity.”
Luke 6:38 MSG
The last essential tool in to your tool box is “K”
Know What Matters To God.
To live your best life here, you need to know what matters to God and pursue it whole-heartedly and passionately. God is the final Arbiter, our Judge and our Advocate. We are here to glorify Him. We are here to live a life that pleases Him. This is why we need to find out what pleases Him and do it.
Jesus said, “I always do what My Father does.” That is the Way to live. Live for the Master. Make sure you are fulfilling your purpose on earth. Not everyone is assigned to your world or your “boat”. He wants you to reach all those in your sphere of influence and impact their lives positively. Leave an aroma, a fragrance of God that they cherish long after you are gone.
So whatever you do, don’t forget your ‘milk”. Wherever you go, go with your “milk”. They will hold you in good stead. You will stand out with them. You will deliver with them. You will be fulfilled with them.
The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.” John 8:29
My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. John4:34
Paul gave this valedictory message before his departure:
6 For I am already about to be sacrificed [my life is about to be poured out as a drink offering]; the time of my [spirit’s] release [from the body] is at hand and I will soon go free.
7 I have fought the good (worthy, honorable, and noble) fight, I have finished the race, I have kept (firmly held) the faith.
8 [As to what remains] henceforth there is laid up for me the [victor’s] crown of righteousness [for being right with God and doing right], which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me and recompense me on that [great] day—and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved and yearned for and welcomed His appearing (His return).
2 Timothy 4:6-8
The Message
6-8 You take over. I’m about to die, my life an offering on God’s altar. This is the only race worth running. I’ve run hard right to the finish, believed all the way. All that’s left now is the shouting—God’s applause! Depend on it, he’s an honest judge. He’ll do right not only by me, but by everyone eager for his coming.

The Wall Completed
15 So the wall was finished on the twenty-fifth day of Elul, in fifty-two days.
16 And it happened, when all our enemies heard of it, and all the nations around us saw these things, that they were very disheartened in their own eyes; for they perceived that this work was done by our God. Neh6:15-16
2 The LORD was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.
3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD made all he did to prosper in his hand.
4 So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority.
5 So it was, from the time that he had made him overseer of his house and all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the LORD was on all that he had in the house and in the field.
21 But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.
22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison; whatever they did there, it was his doing.
23 The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph’s authority, because the LORD was with him; and whatever he did, the LORD made it prosper. Gen39:2-5,21-23

Paul
“You know, from the first day that I came to Asia, in what manner I always lived among you,
19 serving the Lord with all humility, with many tears and trials which happened to me by the plotting of the Jews;
20 how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house,
21 testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
22 And see, now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there,
23 except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me.
24 But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

Essence of His Presence ( by Fenny West)
I Am Perfect ( by Fenny West)
I believe I am perfect according to the Word of God. And I will practise it in all I do and it shall be made manifest.
There will be no abortion of my ideas, my dreams; no abortion of my children. I produce perfect results. There shall be no miscarriage in my business, marriage or relationships. What God gives me, I will carry to fruition, maturation, and completion and perfection.
The grace and goodness of God will bring about acceleration of all my plans and ideas; giving me Holy Ghost speed, accuracy, and excellence.
God’s searchlight is upon me right now, causing my partners and destiny helpers to locate me with their silver and gold to build my walls.
My sons and daughters are coming from afar. Kings are coming to the brightness of my rising. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places and I have a goodly heritage.
What God will do in my life when compared to what He has done so far will just be like a child’s play. I am positioned for greatness, prosperity, promotion, innovation, creativity, abundance of the seas, hidden riches in secret places.
Great harvest is coming to me by divine trigger, ordination, orchestration and instigation.
I wage war with this prophetic Word. It will chart my course throughout this year.
I am going from glory to glory and from strength to strength. My path shines ever brighter to the full light of day. HALLELUJAH!
31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Gen.1:31
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil. Job1:1
Noah Pleases God
9 This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.
10 And Noah begot three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Gen6:9
8 Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”Job1:8
48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. Matt5:48
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Eph2:10
4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
