Accepted and Blameless ( by Fenny West)

Accepted and Blameless

And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled

22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight– Col1:21-22

Long before the foundation of the world, God had me in His mind. I was the object of His love. His plan for me was to be holy, blameless and guiltless, without shame,  in love. He predestined me to be in fellowship with Him, and reconciled me to Himself by slaying Jesus, the Son of His love, for me.

How wonderful that His mind was full of me long before I knew it. He made me the object and focus of His love. As high as the heavens are above the earth so great is His love for me. As far as the east is from the west , so far has He removed my transgression from me. He knew me before I knew myself. He made provision for me long before my need arose. He dealt with the question of my sin even before I knew I was a sinner-separated from Him. (Ps103:12-14, Ro5:8, Ps139:17-18)

How beautiful! How wonderful! How glorious!

It was not because of my goodness but because of His mercy and goodness and great love. Whilst I was yet a sinner, Christ died for me. He washed me whiter than snow; made a way for me to dine with Him like Mephibosheth was qualified to sit on the Kings table as one of his sons- all his lameness covered, irrelevant, unable to stop or hinder him. David looked beyond his limitation to the power of the covenant he had with his dad, Jonathan, and that was enough. (Ps.51:7, 2Sam9:1)

Similarly, when God looks at me, He remembers Jesus and the New covenant, established on better promises and I am absolved, accepted in the beloved, chosen in love, granted the life of God and the righteousness of God and peace with God. Heb8:6

There is therefore now, no more condemnation against me; and no alienation from Him because I have accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. He is my sacrifice and my justification. I stand before God, guiltless, without shame, even boldly. (Rom.8:1-2, 1Cor1:30, Ro5:1, Phil 1:6)

I can go into God’s presence anytime and any day because of the precious blood of Jesus that paves the way. For He has sanctified me and made me holy. I am His treasured possession, the apple of His eyes, a royalty, a priest and king to Him; a living stone.(Heb4:16)

I have the life of God-Zoe- in me. Therefore I am a partaker of the divine nature . As He is so am I. I decree and it stands(Job22:28); I command and it comes into being. I am an heir of God and joint- heir with Christ. I am a masterpiece. All the things that belong to Him belong to me (1Cor3:21). I cease to be ordinary because God has added His “extra” to my ordinary. I cease to be natural because He has added His “Super” to my natural. (Rom8:17, 1John4:17, Eph2:10, 2Pet1:3-4)

What a life! I am beyond reproach. Glory be to God.

Father, I  thank You for Your great love for me, even whilst I was yet a sinner, You sent the Son of Your love-Jesus- to take my place and die the cruel death on the cross. He paid the price for me. He paid the debt He did not owe. He was brutalised for me. He took the punishment that I deserved. You laid on Him my sins. He was my scape-goat  -my sin-bearer, my perfect sacrifice, the Lamb that took away my sin.

Thank You that I am free to come boldly before Your throne of grace as forgiven, beloved and accepted. I am now free to serve You. I am holy, righteous, forgiven, blameless, unreproveable, guiltless, without condemnation, loved with an everlasting  love and have received abundance of grace and abundant life. Sin shall have no dominion over me. I have passed from death to life. Heaven is my home. {Jer31:3, Phil1:6, 1Cor1:30, Rom5:17}

Thank You, Father, that because of Jesus, You have blessed me with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places and given me Your exceedingly great and precious promises through my knowledge of You. Thank You for making me like You. I am more than a conqueror and the Greater One dwells in me. In Christ I live, move and gave my being, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. (Eph1:3,1John4:4, 1John5:4, Ro8:11, 2Pet1:3-4)

Glory be to God.

You Can’t Change Your Past ( by Fenny West)

love& spirit love1Cor13 framed1 favour follows me I did this for you love is the greatest author and finisher forgiven, acquitted freedom in Christ fear not faith over worry

You Can’t Change the Past

You can’t change the past

But you can stop its hold.

The blood dealt with your past.

To stop its stranglehold.

The past has come and gone

Why cry over spilt milk

Use it and be airborne

Yes saint use it as lift.

You can’t change the past

So stop looking back

It’s time to forget the past

And reach for what’s ahead.

Your best day is ahead

On the good news be fed

And you will be the head

Rise, now from your bed!

12   Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Phil3:12-14

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.2Cor.5:17

3     Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Phil1:3-6

27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Col1:27

30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God — and righteousness and sanctification and redemption –Cor1:30

4Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

9     But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

1Pet2:4-5,9-10

9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.1John1:9

Made Righteous In Christ

Made Righteous in Christ

by Charles Spurgeon

2 Corinthians 5:21

For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

Mourning Christian! why weepest thou? Art thou mourning over thine own corruptions? Look to thy perfect Lord, and remember, thou art complete in Him; thou art in God’s sight as perfect as if thou hadst never sinned; nay, more than that, the Lord our Righteousness hath put a divine garment upon thee, so that thou hast more than the righteousness of man-thou hast the righteousness of God. O Thou who art mourning by reason of inbred sin and depravity, remember, none of thy sins can condemn thee. Thou hast learned to hate sin; but thou hast learned also to know that sin is not thine-it was laid upon Christ’s head. Thy standing is not in thyself-it is in Christ; thine acceptance is not in thyself, but in thy Lord; thou art as much accepted of God to-day, with all thy sinfulness, as thou wilt be when thou standest before His throne, free from all corruption. O, I beseech thee, lay hold on this precious thought, perfection in Christ! For thou art “complete in Him.” With thy Saviour’s garment on, thou art holy as the Holy one. “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” Christian, let thy heart rejoice, for thou art “accepted in the beloved”-what hast thou to fear? Let thy face ever wear a smile; live near thy Master; live in the suburbs of the Celestial City; for soon, when thy time has come, thou shalt rise up where thy Jesus sits, and reign at His right hand; and all this because the divine Lord “was made to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.”
