Moving From Milk To Meat ( by Fenny West)
Moving From Milk To Meat
Moving From Milk To Meat
Is the perfect will of God.
From learners to teachers
Is God’s desire and passion.
So lay a good foundation
And begin to build an edifice
Of mammoth proportion
One of a lasting legacy.
Study, show yourself approved.
Make your calling, election sure.
Make the most of each moment.
Dig deep, Meditate and review.
Climb the ladder from rung to rung
Making inroads, making progress
Going from glory to glory
And going from strength to strength.
{Heb 5:12} For when
for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one
teach you again which [be] the first principles of the oracles
of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not
of strong meat. {5:13} For every one that useth milk [is]
unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
{5:14} But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full
age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses
exercised to discern both good and evil.
Chapter 6
{6:1} Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of
Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the
foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith
toward God, {6:2} Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of
laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. {6
18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.2 Pet3:18
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head — Christ —
16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Eph4:11-16
Good Morning (2) (by Fenny West)
Good Morning (2)
Get up early each Morning
Next, prayer and get a “Word Bath”
To keep your mind from straying
Saturate your whole being from your heart.
Tune in to the frequency of the Spirit
There you will hear the Voice of God
Listen, not with your ears but with your spirit
And God will speak to you from His Word.
For breakfast, go for divine dainties
From the sumptuous sup supplied
Water it down with Living Waters
Top it up with the milk of the Word
Before you take the meat of the Word.
For lunch, go for the Rhema-prophetic Word
Learn to wages a good warfare with it
Fight the Good Fight of Faith, fearless
Fainting not in the Day of Adversity
Because your strength in Him is not small.
For dinner, meditate on a morsel of the Word
Chew it repeatedly till it’s ground to pieces
Swallow it whole, hook, line and sinker.
Pray a prayer of Thanksgiving to God who gives His beloved sleep.
1 Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my meditation.
2 Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray.
3 My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.
Ps5:1-3
1 O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.
2 So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.
3 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.Ps63:1-3
7 My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise.
8 Awake, my glory! Awake, lute and harp! I will awaken the dawn.
9 I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing to You among the nations.
10 For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens, And Your truth unto the clouds.
11 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let Your glory be above all the earth.
Ps57:7-11
35 Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.
Mark1:35

The Parallel and Paradox … ( by Fenny West)
The Parallel and Paradox of the Wooden Art
How incredible insightful and instructive!
The Wood artist sees what we do not see
And painstakingly uses his tool to chip off, cut out, carve out, garnish until the beautiful masterpiece emerges out of the wood to our amazement, admiration and wonder.
This is exactly what God sees in you and I. We may look useless on the outside but there is masterpiece waiting to find expression in us.
And as we yield to the Holy Spirit and the Word of God does His miracle of transformation by chipping off, carving out, garnishing, polishing until the masterpiece which was there, emerges for all to see, admire and glorify God for.
Today, yield to the Holy Spirit to work in you as to work through you. See yourself as a masterpiece awaiting manifestation. Yes, often the pruning can be painful, but see the joy ahead, like Jesus and submit yourself to the Master Crafts-Man Who knows your end from the beginning.
: For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of the sons of God. Ro8:19
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Eph2:10
John15:1} I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. {15:2} Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. {15:3} John15:1-3
1John{3:1} Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. {3:2} Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

the good news, My letter of love.
Go to the high ways and byways.
Go to the nooks and crannies.
Go and open the eyes of the blind.
Go and heal those who are sick.
Go and lift out those depressed,
Diseased, disillusioned, down and out.
Go and lift those in the ditch of life –
Hopeless, hapless, clueless, purposeless.
Speak the word of life.
Speak the Word of Grace.
Speak the dynamic Word
That is Spirit and life.
Speak with Boldness.
Speak with conviction.
Tell your testimony.
Tell of My goodness.

Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.Mark16:15-19

“Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.”
Acts 26:18

2Cor.5:18-20
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
Acts 10:44
“While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.”

Luke 4:18

2 Kings 7:9

Go for Gold ( by Fenny West)
Go for Gold
Go for Gold
Saint of God.
God’s with you
And for you
And in you.
You’ve got what it takes.
Run with grace.
Run to finish
And finish well.
Run with passion.
Run with focus.
You’ve got what it takes.
Go for gold.
Refuse distraction.
Embrace distinction.
Delight in discipline
And you will win.
You’ve got what it takes.
Go for gold.
Give it your all
Do it like Paul
Refuse to be stalled.
Every Goliath maul.
You’ve got what it takes.
Dare to dream.
Dare dreaming big.
Go after that lion.
Rescue the sheep.
Go after that bear.
Rescue the sheep.
You’ve got what it takes.
Like Goliath of Gath
He has a glass jaw
He’s a defeated foe.
Tread down the foe.
Cut off his head
Even with his sword.
This foe is a phoney foe.
Hit him below the belt.
You’ve got what it takes.
Put on the whole armour of God.
Stand strong in the Lord
and in His mighty power.
Don the helmet of salvation
And the breastplate of righteousness.
Take the belt of truth,
expose all the lies of the enemy.
Take the shield of faith
and quench every flaming arrow of the foe.
Put on the shoes of the Gospel of peace
with a sure-footed stability,
declaring and announcing what God has done,
is doing and will do.
Don’t forget to take the Sword of the Spirit
which is the Word of God.
Cut down every demonic tree
planted by the enemy.
Pray! Pray!! Pray!!! With all kinds of prayer.
PUSH-Pray Until Something Happens.
Striving for a Crown
24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run , but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. 25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown , but we for an imperishable crown. 26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. 27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection , lest , when I have preached to others , I myself should become disqualified. 1Cor.9:24 -27
Pressing Toward the Goal
12 Not that I have already attained , or am already perfected; but I press on , that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren , I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do , forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead , 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Phil3:12-14
Paul’s Valedictory
6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering , and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought the good fight , I have finished the race , I have kept the faith. 8 Finally , there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness , which the Lord , the righteous Judge , will give to me on that Day , and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. 2Tim.4:6-8
David Prevails over Goliath
50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone , and struck the Philistine and killed him. But there was no sword in the hand of David. 51 Therefore David ran and stood over the Philistine , took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him , and cut off his head with it. And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead , they fled. 1Sam.17:50-51
Go For Good Growth ( by C.H. Spurgeon)
Go for Good Growth
“These have no root.” Luke 8:13
My soul, examine thyself this morning by the light of this text. Thou hast received the word with joy; thy feelings have been stirred and a lively impression has been made; but, remember, that to receive the word in the ear is one thing, and to receive Jesus into thy very soul is quite another; superficial feeling is often joined to inward hardness of heart, and a lively impression of the word is not always a lasting one. In the parable, the seed in one case fell upon ground having a rocky bottom, covered over with a thin layer of earth; when the seed began to take root, its downward growth was hindered by the hard stone and therefore it spent its strength in pushing its green shoot aloft as high as it could, but having no inward moisture derived from root nourishment, it withered away. Is this my case? Have I been making a fair show in the flesh without having a corresponding inner life? Good growth takes place upwards and downwards at the same time. Am I rooted in sincere fidelity and love to Jesus? If my heart remains unsoftened and unfertilized by grace, the good seed may germinate for a season, but it must ultimately wither, for it cannot flourish on a rocky, unbroken, unsanctified heart. Let me dread a godliness as rapid in growth and as wanting in endurance as Jonah’s gourd; let me count the cost of being a follower of Jesus, above all let me feel the energy of his Holy Spirit, and then I shall possess an abiding and enduring seed in my soul. If my mind remains as obdurate as it was by nature, the sun of trial will scorch, and my hard heart will help to cast the heat the more terribly upon the ill-covered seed, and my religion will soon die, and my despair will be terrible; therefore, O heavenly Sower, plough me first, and then cast the truth into me, and let me yield thee a bounteous harvest.
Road To Good Success (by Fenny West)
Road to Good Success
On the Road to Good Success you will find Goliath, lions and bears. As you embark on this road, Pharaoh will pursue you and frighten you. You must keep your eyes on Jesus and refuse any distraction. and follow the prescription God has given: Anchor your soul on His word, meditate on it day and night, eat it, digest it, speak it, believe it, do it- all of it. Then you will make you way prosperous and then you will have Good Success. Know the difference between godly success and worldly success and choose Good Success- not goods success.
The Word Works (by Fenny West)
The Word Works
The word Works
When you stand on it
When you pray it
And pray with it
When you pop it as pill
When you rub it in like balm.
The word heals
Because it is spirit and life
Because it is God-breathed
Because it is powerful
And dynamic, razor-sharp
Living, seasoned and it’s God’s mind.
The word works
When you refuse to relent
When you hold on to it
Like a bulldog that has found a bone.
The word is medicine for health;
The word is wisdom in business;
The word is blue print for prosperity;
The word is for soundness of mind;
The word works for peace profound;
The word works for divine direction;
The word is for creativity
The word is for healthy relationships
The word is for finding purpose
Facing and fulfilling purpose.
The word works always and everywhere;
on the mountain in the valley.
12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.Heb4:12
63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.John6:63
“It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ “
Matt4:4
7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. John15:7
32.”So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified Act20:32
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Col3:16
12 I have not departed from the commandment of His lips;
I have treasured the words of His mouth
More than my necessary food. Job23:12
20 My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
21 Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;
22 For they are life to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh.
Prov4:20-22
6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
Deut6:6-9
