1 John 3:
1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:John1:12
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.1John4:17
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.John15:5
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2Cor5:17
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Oaks of Righteousness Shall Stand in the fierce wind Through His great faithfulness Abounding Grace, they will find.
They will grow tall and strong Like Cedars of Lebanon. At night they’ll have a song To cheer those that mourn.
They are trees of righteousness. His treasured possession They are watered by the Lord In famine or recession.
They will never perish
In all they do they’ll flourish.
They will always be the head
And at no time the tail.
In all they do they’ll forge ahead.
They will prevail and never fail.
Oaks of righteousness
Are trees of righteousness of a fruitful field.
That will glow and grow into a forest.
21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.Isa60:21-22
12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
15 To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him. Ps92:12-15
17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Guard well your brand
Worth billions of rands
Always take your stand
Respond to His command.
Build not on the sand
Put your hand in His hand
And yours will be the land
Milk and honey land.
Never mind the enemy
Never mind the adversary
Yours will be the victory
His will be the misery.
Walk by faith not by sight
In His might not your might
Walk in His light not in the night.
And he will fight your fight.
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.Matt5:13-16
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.2Cor4:7-9,17-18
Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
We may understand this to refer to justification. “They shall walk in white”; that is, they shall enjoy a constant sense of their own justification by faith; they shall understand that the righteousness of Christ is imputed to them, that they have all been washed and made whiter than the newly-fallen snow. Again, it refers to joy and gladness: for white robes were holiday dresses among the Jews. They who have not defiled their garments shall have their faces always bright; they shall understand what Solomon meant when he said “Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart. Let thy garments be always white, for God hath accepted thy works.” He who is accepted of God shall wear white garments of joy and gladness, while he walks in sweet communion with the Lord Jesus. Whence so many doubts, so much misery, and mourning? It is because so many believers defile their garments with sin and error, and hence they lose the joy of their salvation, and the comfortable fellowship of the Lord Jesus, they do not here below walk in white. The promise also refers to walking in white before the throne of God. Those who have not defiled their garments here shall most certainly walk in white up yonder, where the white-robed hosts sing perpetual hallelujahs to the Most High. They shall possess joys inconceivable, happiness beyond a dream, bliss which imagination knoweth not, blessedness which even the stretch of desire hath not reached. The “undefiled in the way” shall have all this-not of merit, nor of works, but of grace. They shall walk with Christ in white, for He has made them “worthy.” In His sweet company they shall drink of the living fountains of waters.
12 For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield. Ps5:12
Favour can find you and follow you like it did Abraham, Joseph, Hannah, Esther, Nehemiah, Jacob, Isaac, Mordecai and the disciples. Favour is not fair. It is unmerited benevolence and disposition toward another person. God favoured us because of Jesus Christ. While we were yet sinners He died for us.
Whereas we do not work for favour, there is a walk of favour that we need to walk for favour to continue to follows us all the days of our lives. Just as children in a family no not do anything special to be members of that Family, like little Prince George Alexander Louis, extra-ordinary benefits come to those who respond well to their parents.
So if you want to enjoy the uncommon favour of God you have to be obedient to Him, love Him with all your heart, all your soul and all your might. That is the walk of favour. You can get beyond what other members of the Family will get by reason of your worshipful life. Favour brings provision, protection, prosperity, creativity, significance, wisdom of the Kingdom and the presence of God.
The decision is yours. We are all blessed, but the key to the manifestation of the blessings depends on our obedience. Decision determines destiny. choices carry consequences. So make the right choices today.
You do not have to work for favour
But there is a walk of favour
You have to walk to get uncommon favour.
Common or Uncommon favour
What you get depends on you.
When you are living in the light, you will grow and glow in the power of His might. No weapon fashioned against you will prosper. You will be above and not under, your setbacks will be setups for a great comeback. You will be more than a conqueror. However you cannot live in the light outside of the Light. Just as the moon has no light of its own but reflects the light of the Sun so we do not have a light of our own. So those who Ignore the Light and are proud of their, are in for a rude awakening on judgement day.
Fellowship with Him and One Another
5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. 1John1:5-10
