We Speak Wisdom ( by Fenny West)

We Speak Wisdom

Of the Kingdom;

Foolishness to the world

Wisdom to those born of the Word

And called out of the world.

 We speak what we believe

Not what we see, feel, or sense.

We speak what we perceive and have received

Which naturally may not make sense.

We speak the mind of God

The counsel of God,

The oracles of God –

 Who we are in Him

What we have in Him

Where we’re at in Him.

We see beyond the natural.

We see through the eyes of God

We do not speak what is temporary or contrary,

but the things which are ours; things consistent with the Word-

the things which are revealed,

our inheritance; the things which are supernatural.

{2:7} But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom,] which God ordained before the world unto our glory: . { God. {2:12} Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Covenant Keeping God (by C. H. Spurgeon)

Covenant Keeping God

“I will give thee for a covenant of the people.” Isaiah 49:8

Jesus Christ is himself the sum and substance of the covenant, and as one of its gifts. He is the property of every believer. Believer, canst thou estimate what thou hast gotten in Christ? “In him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” Consider that word “God” and its infinity, and then meditate upon “perfect man” and all his beauty; for all that Christ, as God and man, ever had, or can have, is thine–out of pure free favour, passed over to thee to be thine entailed property forever. Our blessed Jesus, as God, is omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent. Will it not console you to know that all these great and glorious attributes are altogether yours? Has he power? That power is yours to support and strengthen you, to overcome your enemies, and to preserve you even to the end. Has he love? Well, there is not a drop of love in his heart which is not yours; you may dive into the immense ocean of his love, and you may say of it all, “It is mine.” Hath he justice? It may seem a stern attribute, but even that is yours, for he will by his justice see to it that all which is promised to you in the covenant of grace shall be most certainly secured to you. And all that he has as perfect man is yours. As a perfect man the Father’s delight was upon him. He stood accepted by the Most High. O believer, God’s acceptance of Christ is thine acceptance; for knowest thou not that the love which the Father set on a perfect Christ, he sets on thee now? For all that Christ did is thine. That perfect righteousness which Jesus wrought out, when through his stainless life he kept the law and made it honourable, is thine, and is imputed to thee. Christ is in the covenant.

“My God, I am thine–what a comfort divine!

What a blessing to know that the Saviour is mine!

In the heavenly Lamb thrice happy I am,

And my heart it doth dance at the sound of his name.”

“The last Adam.”
1 Corinthians 15:45

Jesus is the federal head of his elect. As in Adam, every heir of flesh and blood has a personal interest, because he is the covenant head and representative of the race as considered under the law of works; so under the law of grace, every redeemed soul is one with the Lord from heaven, since he is the Second Adam, the Sponsor and Substitute of the elect in the new covenant of love. The apostle Paul declares that Levi was in the loins of Abraham when Melchizedek met him: it is a certain truth that the believer was in the loins of Jesus Christ, the Mediator, when in old eternity the covenant settlements of grace were decreed, ratified, and made sure forever. Thus, whatever Christ hath done, he hath wrought for the whole body of his Church. We were crucified in him and buried with him (read Col. 2:10-13), and to make it still more wonderful, we are risen with him and even ascended with him to the seats on high (Eph. 2:6). It is thus that the Church has fulfilled the law, and is “accepted in the beloved.” It is thus that she is regarded with complacency by the just Jehovah, for he views her in Jesus, and does not look upon her as separate from her covenant head. As the Anointed Redeemer of Israel, Christ Jesus has nothing distinct from his Church, but all that he has he holds for her. Adam’s righteousness was ours so long as he maintained it, and his sin was ours the moment that he committed it; and in the same manner, all that the Second Adam is or does, is ours as well as his, seeing that he is our representative. Here is the foundation of the covenant of grace. This gracious system of representation and substitution, which moved Justin Martyr to cry out, “O blessed change, O sweet permutation!” this is the very groundwork of the gospel of our salvation, and is to be received with strong faith and rapturous joy.

Quote of the Day: when you buy the lies of Satan You will Disobey God

When you believe Satan’s lies, you will disobey God.

adam and Eve

God made Man in His Own Image

6 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Gen1:26-28

Adam was so intelligent that he named all the animals

19 Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.

20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him. Gen2:19-20

God wanted man to be obedient as to eat of the best of the Land- te Garden of Eden

Life in God’s Garden

8 The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed

.9 And out of the ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Satan then came and deceived Man to believe a lie that god was withholding what man wanted from him- to be like God. Remember, God created man like Himself- in His own image.

The Temptation and Fall of Man

1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”

2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden;

3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ”

4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.

5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.

Satan deceive man and he  fell

Although man was still physically alive after the fall, he became spiritually dead- hence the fear, hiding from god and escaped.

Satan had stolen man’s dominion from him. Little wonder when Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness he boasted:’io had been delivered to me. Who did? Our first parents!

3 And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.”

4 But Jesus answered him, saying,

“It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’

5 Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

Ever wondered why you don’t feel like praying or going to Church when you have disobeyed God? The same reason why Adam and Eve ran from God when they heard his voice.

When you buy the lie of Satan, you will disobey God and forfeit your inheritance to Satan.

Satan is a liar and a Father of it. He uses thesame tactics today as he did then: ‘Deceive them to disinherit them.’ This is his motto.

We thank God for Jesus who came and clinched back our dominion. Col2:15 Dominion lost was regained when Jesu srose from the dead on the third day. And were were crucified with Him and raised together with Him and now seated with Him in heavenly places. That is the truth of the gospel. ( Eph2:1,6)

If you know Jesus as your personal Saviour, the old has gone and the new has come. You are a New Creeature in Christ. You are the redeemed of the Lord- redeemed from the power and manacles of satan and his cohorts. You are the righteousnes of God in Christ Jesus; an overcomer, set free for freedom. God is your Father and you are his child. No weapon fasshioned against you will prosper. All things will work together for you because youlove God and yuare the called according to His purpose.

Refuse to believe the lie of the enemy. If God be for youwho can be against you. You are blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places. Youhave been chosen by God to be His trophy, His Ambassador, instrument of peace and reconciliation, His voice, His hands and feet, part of the royal priesthood, the holy nation, a tree of righteousness, a planting of the Lord, to radiate His glory, honour and praise here on earth.

Commit yourself therefore to obey the Lord in all matters because Goid has your best interest at heart. God is not trying to heide your blessin from you. He has hidden it for you. all youneed to do is seek His face and when you do you will find His grace which is sufficient for you to access your divine inheritance. He will open the eyes of your spirital understanding to know the hope of yor calling and your glorious inheriatance in Christ. and when you do youwillwalk in victory and not defeat. youwill be above and not under. God will fight your battles and youwill eat the best of the Land. Yes reagrdless of the canaanites that are in yor promised land, the land is still yours. God has given it to you. and every placetat the sloe of your feet shall tread belongs to you.

Do not let the enemy short-change you.

When you buy Satan’s lies

You disobey God.

and this is not wise.

Stan on the Word.

Doubt your doubts

and believe your beliefs

Do not doubt in public

what you heard from God in yor closet.

God’s ways are higher than our ways

His thoughts are higher than His thoughts.

so let us reamain in the narrow way

which leads to eternal life.

‘I thought you said, ‘Quote of the day.’

Well that was what I thought it would be but it has turned out to be a sermon.  It is good to go with the flow. That is obedience to God as we have just heard. I trust you have been blessed.

Want to Know God’s Promises? Read the Bible! ( By Rick Warren)

“I commit you to God and to the Word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” (Acts 20:32 NIV)

You have an inheritance coming to you. If you read God’s Word, the Bible promises one for you.

The Bible says in Acts 20:32, “I commit you to God and to the Word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.”

An inheritance is what you get for being part of a family that’s rightfully yours.

Pretend your father was Warren Buffet, and he dies. If you never took the time to read the will, you’d be foolish. You wouldn’t get what was rightfully due to you. You wouldn’t benefit from what belongs to you as a child of Warren Buffet.

When you become a follower of Jesus, you’re not just a believer — you’re a belonger. You become a part of God’s family. Family privileges come along with that decision. You have a spiritual inheritance.

But if you walked through your entire life and you didn’t know what benefits were available to you as a child of God, that would be sad — and foolish. God wants you to grow and know what’s available to you from him. You need to read the Bible to do that.

The Bible says in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

The purpose of the Bible is to help you live out the purpose God has for your life; it’s God’s inheritance that’s due to you. God wants you to be thoroughly equipped for what you’ve been made to do. To do that, he does four things through Scripture:

– He teaches you. God shows you the path on which you should walk.

– He rebukes you. God shows you when you’re off the path.

– He corrects you. God shows us how you can get back on the path.

– He trains you. God shows you how you can stay on the path.

That’s how God’s Word helps you grow and get that great inheritance God has prepared for you.

Talk About It

How would your life change if it reflected the truth that you have an inheritance from the King of Kings?

– What benefits from your inheritance have you not yet accepted?

– Is the Bible a useful tool for you each day? Are you taking full advantage of its instruction?

Boundless Inheritance

Boundless Inheritance

In Christ- our inheritance

Ephesians 1:11

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance.

When Jesus gave Himself for us, He gave us all the rights and privileges which went with Himself; so that now, although as eternal God, He has essential rights to which no creature may venture to pretend, yet as Jesus, the Mediator, the federal Head of the covenant of grace, He has no heritage apart from us. All the glorious consequences of His obedience unto death are the joint riches of all who are in Him, and on whose behalf He accomplished the divine will. See, He enters into glory, but not for Himself alone, for it is written, “Whither the Forerunner is for us entered.” Heb. 6:20. Does He stand in the presence of God?-“He appears in the presence of God for us.” Heb. 9:24.

Consider this, believer. You have no right to heaven in yourself: your right lies in Christ. If you are pardoned, it is through His blood; if you are justified, it is through His righteousness; if you are sanctified, it is because He is made of God unto you sanctification; if you shall be kept from falling, it will be because you are preserved in Christ Jesus; and if you are perfected at the last, it will be because you are complete in Him. Thus Jesus is magnified-for all is in Him and by Him; thus the inheritance is made certain to us-for it is obtained in Him; thus each blessing is the sweeter, and even heaven itself the brighter, because it is Jesus our Beloved “in whom” we have obtained all.

Where is the man who shall estimate our divine portion? Weigh the riches of Christ in scales, and His treasure in balances, and then think to count the treasures which belong to the saints. Reach the bottom of Christ’s sea of joy, and then hope to understand the bliss which God hath prepared for them that love Him. Overleap the boundaries of Christ’s possessions, and then dream of a limit to the fair inheritance of the elect. “All things are yours, for ye are Christ’s and Christ is God’s.”
