Go in the name of the Lord

Count your blessings

Name them one by one

Know that the Lord is with you.

Saint, stand against Goliath

The phoney foe from Gath

We walk not by sight

But we walk by faith.

I say, be not afraid

Neither be you dismayed

If God is for you

Who can be against you?

Use the weapon you have proved

That given you by His grace

And you will overcome

His Kingdom will come.

Those that have come in one way

Will flee in seven ways.

God will fight for you

finish well by His grace

Calling All Mighty Men ( by Fenny West)

Calling All Mighty Men

Calling Mighty Men, those who taken a back seat; those who say,”I am tired- tired of the fight  therefore, I retire.”

Come and you will be rekindled.

Come and you will be recharged.

Come and you will be relaunched.

Come for a new visitation and unction for progression, propagation and promotion. (Luke19:37-44)

It’s time to be afire again for God..

It’s not  time to retire.

 

Come and rekindle your desire for the things of God.

  Throw away the denominational dry bones and traditions of men. (Matt7:7-13)

Ditch the cultural weights that so easily  beset and derail.

Latch onto the pure and unadulterated word of God that is able to establish and build you up and give you an inheritance amongst the sanctified. (Acts20:32)

Go for the gold of God. Fight the good fight of faith. (1Tim6:12)

See, there is a lot of land remaining to be conquered. ( Josh1:2-3)

See  there is much work to be done.

See, the fields are already white, ready for  harvest. ( John9:34-35)

See  the time is nigh for the former and latter rain in the first month. (Joel2:23)

See the clouds are full, ready to empty themselves as rain.( Eccle11:3)

What was sown in years shall now be reaped with joy. Those who  went out weeping, bearing precious seeds, shall doubtless return, with a great harvest. (Ps126:6)

Calling Mighty men, like the mighty men of David. Men who knew their purpose, men who were professional, proficient and efficient- Men of timber and calibre; Men who were renowned; Men of Substance.

David’s Mighty Men
…11And after him was Shammah son of Agee the Hararite. When the Philistines had banded together near a field full of lentils, Israel’s troops fled from them. 12 But Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field, defended it, and struck down the Philistines. So the LORD brought about a great victory. 

David Destroys the Amalekites
…17And David struck them down from twilight until the evening of the next day. Not a man escaped, except four hundred young men who fled, riding off on camels. 18So David recovered everything the Amalekites had taken, including his two wives. 19Nothing was missing, young or old, son or daughter, or any of the plunder the Amalekites had taken. Calling Mighty  men, those playing dead. I will bring you out of your graves to fulfil vision. Because I am the resurrection and the life. And he who believes in Me, even though he dies, yet shall he live. Son of man, shall these bones live? (John11:25)

Son of man, it’s not over until I say so. When they write you off, I will write you in. For I will do a new thing in your life and many will see and fear and put their trust in Me. You shall be a reference point, a sign post of significance for posterity. You shall break all records and be a pace-setter in your generation, as I give you double for your trouble.

Calling mighty men, near and far. Come, no matter how far flung. Come, if it is well with you. There are others you can help. Your life can touch other men and raise them from the gutter of life.

Come, if you are short-changed. God will fight for you and you will hold your peace. Come, if you’re ostracised and you will be brought into a warm, godly and holy fold.

Come, and rise to a new dimension-your rightful place in the plan and purpose of God. Come and be honed to fulfil vision.

Paul refused to be derailed by adverse circumstances. He stood the test of time and finished well. You too can.

22 And see, now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there,
23 except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me.
24 But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

Striving for a Crown

24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.
25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.
27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

Nehemiah withstood fierce opposition and and adversity until he finished rebuilding the broken down wall of Jerusalem. You too can.

The Wall Completed

Nehemiah 6: Conspiracy Against Nehemiah
1 Now it happened when Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem the Arab, and the rest of our enemies heard that I had rebuilt the wall, and that there were no breaks left in it (though at that time I had not hung the doors in the gates),
2 that Sanballat and Geshem sent to me, saying, “Come, let us meet together among the villages in the plain of Ono.” But they thought to do me harm.
3 So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?”
4 But they sent me this message four times, and I answered them in the same manner.
15 So the wall was finished on the twenty-fifth day of Elul, in fifty-two days.

Keeping Satan Check- Prevails Prayers(3)

 

 

Father, I thank You for the authority of the Believer, in the Name of Jesus. 
Thank You that the weapons of my warfare are not carnal but mighty through God, to the pulling down of strongholds and casting down every imagination that exalts itself against the revealed will of God. 
I bind every principality and power and their evil machinations, ploys and strategies. No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper and every tongue that rises against me in judgement, I show to be in the wrong. When the enemy comes like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will raise a standard against him. 
Thank you, Father, that I have overcome them by the precious blood of Jesus. The blood speaks better than the blood of bulls and goats. I overcome them by the Word of my testimony. Every test that comes my way brings a testimony. Every trial brings a triumph, and every adversity brings Prosperity.
Thank You, Father, that I am the head and not the tail. I shall prevail in every situation I face because greater is He that is in me than he that is this world. God is my refuge and my strength and my ever-present help. He fights for me. His angels are on assignment on my behalf. There are more with me than are against me. God is working everything together for my good. I am the apple of His eyes, His treasured possession. Whoever touches me, touches Him. I am covered, protected, enveloped by his love. My life is hidden in Christ in God. Thanks be to God, who always causes me to triumph. Through my God, I shall do valiantly. It is He who treads down my enemies. They are under my feet. He makes a banquet for me in the presence of my enemies. He goes before me to make every crooked place straight. Every fiery experience I encounter will only refine me to be better. It will burn off every dross and unveil the gold in me. For my light affliction, which is but for a moment, works a far more exceeding weight of glory for me.

This is why I may be hard-pressed, but I am not crushed, persecuted not abandoned. He said,” I will never leave you nor forsake you until the end.” And when I am perplexed I need not be in despair because I know who I serve and whom I have believed. He is good all the time. I do not look at the things which are seen, but the things which are unseen, knowing that the things which are seen are temporary, but that which is not seen is eternal. Therefore I do not lose heart on any account and can call those things which be not as though they were. I see with the eyes of Faith. I see through the eyes of God. I am more than a conqueror. The Kingdom of God suffers violence but the violent take it by force. I tread down serpents and scorpions wherever they rear their heads. Thanks be to God who always causes me to triumph. I am a Victor, a winner, able only and not below. I put satan and his cohorts in check. I give them no room. I am not ignorant of their ploys and evil intents. I expose them for what they are with the Word of God, the light of God. I use the whole armour of God – my helmet of salvation, the shield of faith, the belt of truth, shoes of the Gospel, the breastplate of righteousness and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. 
The Lord is My light and my salvation and my strength. Of whom shall I fear. The Lord is the stronghold of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid. Those who come against me in one way will flee in seven ways. I humble myself under the mighty hand of God and I resist the enemy and he flees. 
Thank You, Lord, for giving me authority over all the power of the enemy. I cast out Demons, wherever and whenever and however they show up. 
I have victory in the Name of Jesus. He disarmed principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them through the cross. That victory is mine. I enforce that victory in my life in every area-family, businesses, relationships, ministry, children, country, and in all my involvement, in Jesus’ Name. Amen,

Fight the Good Fight of Faith

Fight the Good Fight of Faith
Whether In the day or at night.
Put on the whole armour.
Fight in line with the law.

Fight, maintain your focus
And remember Jesus.
He paid the price for you;
Emptied Himself for you;
Bridged the gap for you;
Won the victory for you.

Now fight, knowing you’ve won.2Cor2:14,1Cor15:57
Know that you are a winner.
Fight with a winner’s mentality.
That makes you more than a conqueror.
Ro8:28,31,37-39

In an assembly the question was asked: Who is a conqueror?
Back came the answer: one who fights a war and wins.
Another question was then posed: Who then is more than a conqueror?
There was silence.

Then an old man answered: “One who wins the war even before fighting.”

That is you and I. We are more than conquerors because of what Christ did. Our fight is to enforce the victory He won. He won the war but we have battles to fight. And We fight from a standpoint of victory.

Fight undaunted, Unrelenting

 

 

Fight undaunted, unrelenting
Fight vigorously, with importunity
Fight with your face like a flint
Fight in the night and in the day
Fight without surrender as conqueror
Fight the devil and his cohorts
Negotiate no truce or ceasefire
Consign the foes to the mire
Dig your hills through thick and thin
In the summer or in the winter,
In the valley or on the mountain
Sharpen your sword with the  word
Put on the whole of God’s armour.

It’s A Personal Fight .

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses (1 Timothy 6:12).

Observe that the Apostle Paul didn’t say to Timothy, “I’ll fight the good fight of faith for you”; the fight of faith is a personal fight; howbeit, a good one. It’s a good fight because you always win. It’s the only fight God expects us to fight and the weapon you need is the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. You engage in the fight of faith by holding onto God’s Word, maintaining your confessions, in the face of staggering oppositions.

Perhaps, you lost your job and every effort to get a new one has proved abortive; or maybe you’re married and haven’t been able to have children. You may have even been told it’s medically impossible for you to conceive, because the fallopian tubes are damaged; whatever the case may be, refuse to panic or be agitated. Fight the good fight of faith. Against hope, believe in hope that you’re a victor in Christ Jesus, blessed and highly favoured of the Lord.

Don’t succumb to sickness, poverty or defeat. Don’t give in to, or accept anything that’s contrary to your divine heritage in Christ. Be strong in faith; maintain your confessions of the Word. The circumstances of life may not always correspond with what the Word of God says, or the visions God has given you; that’s the time to fight the fight of faith. That’s when to declare, “I’m what God says I am; I have what He says I have; and I can do what He says I can do!”

Consider Jesus; the fact that Lazarus was dead and had been buried for four days didn’t make any difference at all. He called Lazarus out from the grave just as you’d call someone sleeping in a nearby room. It doesn’t matter what you see, hear or feel; it doesn’t matter how negative or impossible things may look in the natural; keep affirming the Word. Remember, this is something you must do for yourself, and by yourself. Depend on the Word as the basis and assurance for all your actions and you’ll always be triumphant.

CONFESSION

I give thanks unto the Father, who has qualified me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light! I’m walking in the fullness of the blessings of the Gospel, triumphant always and in every place, making manifest the savour of the knowledge and glory of Christ. Hallelujah.

The Fight of Faith

The Fight of Faith is good

If it is well understood

Jesus began it and ended it.

He showed us how to fight it

He won it for us

on Calvary’s cross

It made us overcomers

And more than conquerors.

The fight of faith is spiritual

Beyond the natural

We see the invisible

And do the impossible.

Because you’re on the winning side.

And regardless of the ocean wide,

No matter what betide,

On the storms of life you can ride;

All because of the Greater One on the inside.

Yes, Jesus has gone ahead of you

To clinch the victory.

He is in you. He is for you,

And with you.

So rejoice, again I say rejoice

Because there are more with you

 than are against you.

The Fight of Faith Is a good fight.

For you to fight

Not by your might

But as of a right

By the Spirit

Day and night.

So let’s do it

With boldness

And confidence

And importunity

at every opportunity.

When pressure is on

The joint-heirs with Christ go on

The royal priesthood go on

Priests and kings go on

The New Creation goes on

His treasured possession goes on.

 

When pressure is on

More than conquerors go on

Winners in Christ go on

The sons of God go on

The child of God goes on

Soldiers of the cross go on

The Bride of Christ goes on

 

When pressure is on

Apples of God’s eyes go on

God’s ambassadors go on

 

And this in relation to:

Relational pressures

Financial pressures

Marital pressures

Ministerial pressures

Purpose pressures

Educational pressures

Mental health pressures

Singleness pressures

Sibling pressures

Barrenness pressure

Biological clock pressure

 

 

When the pressure is on

God’s generals burn on

Shine on, go on

From glory to glory!

From faith to faith!

From strength to strength!

 

Cast Down but Unconquered

  1. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed —10 always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. The battle within

Is a battle with sin

The battle for righteousness

As oaks of righteousness.

 

The battle you face

Is a battle of grace

The one God gave

Through which you were saved.

 

The battle you see

Shouldn’t be a mystery

Against the adversary,

No matter how fiery.

 

The battle is for you to win

Win well against Satan and sin

For you have a new nature

Packaged well for a great future.

 

Jesus won the war for you

For you to have a breakthrough

Therefore stand your ground

Stand firm on the truth you’ve found.

 

Press on to the every end

Know that in Christ you have a Friend

Who sticks closer than a brother.

He’ll be with you summer or winter.

 

19   For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice.
