Seek Him ( by Fenny West)

Seek Him

Bamboozled By Fear
Afraid of death
Laws are rushed
Draconian laws passed
Freedom killed in cold blood
Democratic values sacrificed
On the altar of CORONA.
Overnight we sleep – walked
Into a totalitarian state
Worse than a communist state.

What we decried we now embrace
Blinded to its horror, inhumanity
Pointing to the invisible enemy
Trying to play the Blame Game.

While we slept, tares were sown
And now we’re confused and roam
Going aimless, like a rudderless ship
Trying this and that, aimless, clueless.

Will we listen to the message?
Will we learn the lessons?
Unless our eyes are opened, I doubt
Unless there’s divine intervention, I doubt.

Man has his fingers in his ears
He is looking but cannot see
He dug a hole and fell into it
He dug a grave and fell into it.

Salvation belongs to the Lord.
Deliverance belongs to the Lord.
Protection belongs to the Lord.
Provision belongs to the Lord.
Divine Direction belongs to the Lord.
Wisdom of the Kingdom is of the Lord.
Insight, foresight and hindsight is of God.
Seek Him, while He may be found.

6      Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

7      Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

Isa55:6-7

We Must Preach the Gospel ( by Fenny West)

We Must Preach the Gospel

We Must Preach the Gospel;

Go out and tell the untold,
Tell them about the Good News,
How Jesus took our place as Lamb,
How He took our sicknesses and sin,
How He Redeemed us, set us free,
How He paid in full the price,
How He made the ultimate sacrifice.

We must Preach the Gospel;
Go out to the highways and byways,
Drawn, compelled by the love of Christ,
Letting our light shine in the darkness,
Going out as His hands and feet,
Going out as His epistle and voice,
Going out as His megaphones and trumpets.

We must preach the Gospel
It is for this reason we were born.
Those who have found bread, 🍞
Must share the bread with others.
Those who have been saved,
Must, in turn, be saviours and co-labourers.
Those who have been healed,
Must go out and heal others.
Those who have received peace,
Must go and be instruments of peace.
Those who have been reconciled,
Must go and be Ministers of reconciliation.

We must preach the Gospel
Because it’s the power of God for salvation,
Deliverance, transformation, promotion,
Elevation, progression, healing, health,
Prosperity, increase, empowerment,

 establishment, great inheritance,

settlement, endowment and fulfilment.

We must preach the Gospel,
To show we are selfless,
To show we love Christ,
To show we are obedient,
To show we are His disciples,
To show we are the light of the world;
A city on a hill that cannot be hidden;
The salt of the earth that gives flavour.

We must preach the Gospel;
Great are they that publish the Good News.
“Open your mouth and I will fill it.”
Everyone has a testimony.
Just Go and share your testimony.
Tell them what God has done for you.
You are an ambassador.
Be not intimidated.
Be not ashamed.
Be not restrained.
Be not constrained.
Be not afraid or dismayed.
If God be for you
Who can be against you?
Plant the seed at every opportunity.
Water the seed at every opportunity.
And be assured that God will give the increase.

We must preach the Gospel!

All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19   Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20   Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Matt28:18-20

Philip Preached the Gospel

26   And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

27   And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,

28   Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.

29   Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

30   And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

31   And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

32   The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

33   In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

34   And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

35   Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

36   And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

37   And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

38   And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

Acts8:26-38

Paul and Silas Preached the Gospel

29   Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,

30   And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

31   And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

32   And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

33   And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

34   And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

Acts16:29-34

Peter Preached the Gospel

19   While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.

20   Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.

21 Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?

34   Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

35   But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

36   The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)

37   That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;

38   How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

38   How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

39   And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:

40   Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;

41   Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

42   And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

43   To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

44   While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

45   And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts10:19-21,34-45

Go With the Great ‘Go’ (By Fenny West)

Go with the Great ‘Go’,
God has given you.
He has equipped you,
Endowed and empowered you.

Refuse any intimidation.
Debunk any limitation.
Go with determination.
Go, despite opposition .

You were born to share the good news.
So Never mind those who refuse.
Go to the highways and byways.
Go to the nooks and the crannies.

I say, go with the Great ‘Go.’
With the Spirit always flow.
Let His Word dwell richly;
Oozing out of you profusely.

Be His written and spoken epistle.
Be His City on a Hill not hidden.
Be the salt of the earth

Be His hands and feet and mega phone.

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matt28:18-19

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”Mark16:16-18

Olympics Race of Grace Lesson

Empty Seats

Whereas it is reported that the tickets for some events have been sold off, many empty seats at some events prompted investigation.

Do you know that we also have such problem in many of our Churches?  We need not only to pray about this but do something about it-witnessing- because we are co-labourers with God.

9     For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.1Cor3:9

8     Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.

9     Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’

10   So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests. Matt22:9-10

6     He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.

Ps126:6

3     Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.

Dan12:3

35   Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!

John4:35

18   Then Jonathan said to David, “Tomorrow is the New Moon; and you will be missed, because your seat will be empty.

You’re saved to save

Those who feel condemned.

Think of those in prison-

7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. 16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you

36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Matt9:36-38

Undying Zeal for the Souls of Men ( C.H. Spurgeon)

Lord, grant us undying Zeal for the souls of men.

Christ three crosses spurgeon 1 Christ i did4 u 2 015a_th

1 Corinthians 9:22

I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

Paul’s great object was not merely to instruct and to improve, but to save. Anything short of this would have disappointed him; he would have men renewed in heart, forgiven, sanctified, in fact, saved. Have our Christian labours been aimed at anything below this great point? Then let us amend our ways, for of what avail will it be at the last great day to have taught and moralized men if they appear before God unsaved? Blood-red will our skirts be if through life we have sought inferior objects, and forgotten that men needed to be saved. Paul knew the ruin of man’s natural state, and did not try to educate him, but to save him; he saw men sinking to hell, and did not talk of refining them, but of saving from the wrath to come. To compass their salvation, he gave himself up with untiring zeal to telling abroad the gospel, to warning and beseeching men to be reconciled to God. His prayers were importunate and his labours incessant. To save souls was his consuming passion, his ambition, his calling. He became a servant to all men, toiling for his race, feeling a woe within him if he preached not the gospel. He laid aside his preferences to prevent prejudice; he submitted his will in things indifferent, and if men would but receive the gospel, he raised no questions about forms or ceremonies: the gospel was the one all-important business with him. If he might save some he would be content. This was the crown for which he strove, the sole and sufficient reward of all his labours and self-denials. Dear reader, have you and I lived to win souls at this noble rate? Are we possessed with the same all-absorbing desire? If not, why not? Jesus died for sinners, cannot we live for them? Where is our tenderness? Where our love to Christ, if we seek not His honour in the salvation of men? O that the Lord would saturate us through and through with an undying zeal for the souls of men.
