Under Your Feet ( by Fenny West)

Under Your Feet

And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, Eph1:22

We are the body of Christ. He is the Head. And the scripture above tells us that God has placed ALL things under His feet.

Jesus Christ, when He died and rose again from the dead by the glory of the Father-the Holy Spirit- was exalted and given in Name and place far above all thrones and rule and principalities and power, not only in this world but also in the one to come.

He completely defeated and vanquished Satan and his cohorts and then delegated that authority to the Church- you and I.

We Reign Now In Christ Jesus

We are to rule and reign Now in His stead until He makes His enemies His footstool.

Ps110:1, Heb.2:8, Matt.22:44)

We need to walk in this light, in this consciousness that all things are under His feet and therefore, under our feet, since we are His Body. We are united with Christ (Rom6:3, 1Cor6:17). The very life that flows through Him flows through us John15:1. And when we walk in this consciousness, it becomes a game changer. And we will live a victorious Christian life where we bring all that pertain to our life under the feet of Jesus- under our feet.

Know that we are called to reign now until He comes back in the rapture, which is the next agenda on God’s calendar.

Jesus delegated His authority in 18           And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

19   Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20   teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Matthew 28:18,

19   Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

 Luke 10:19

We are sitting right now with Him in heavenly places.

4      But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

5      even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

6      and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, Eph2:4-6

That implies not just defeat of our adversaries but complete mastery, sovereignty and dominion over them. 1Cor 15:25,27

We are to reign through Christ in this age

New King James Version

17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

 Rom5:17

New King James Version

For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His Feet.

And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church,Eph1:22

Yes, the devil is under our feet. But we need to keep him there, not just by declaring this truth daily in our walk and words but in every area of our lives. We are enjoined not to give place to the devil in Eph.4:27. In our health, finances, our relationships, our purpose in life, the enemy will rear his head through various temptations, insinuations and assaults. We must continually stand our ground and cast him out in the matchless Name of Jesus. The way we do this is to submit ourselves to God, keep His Word and the devil and his cohorts will remain subjugated-under our feet.

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James4:7

Jesus said, if you love me, keep my commandments. John14:15

He also said

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. John 8:31

How do we keep Satan under our feet?

By:

Not holding grudge

Not nurturing, anger or resentment or cultivating bitterness…

And do not give the devil an opportunity [to lead you into sin by holding a grudge, or nurturing anger, or harboring resentment, or cultivating bitterness]. Eph.4:27

We must also watch our words.

Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Prov 18:21

Watch what you say about yourself and about others.

Speak what God says about you. Do not undermine what He has esteemed. Think of positives things God has said in His word concerning you: But before you can say what God says about you, you have to know it. And to know it, you have to delight in His word more than your necessary food like Job.

I have not departed from the commands of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread. Job23:12

You must find God’s word delightful and joy-inducing, like Jeremiah.

16  Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O LORD God of hosts Jer15:16

Know who you are in Christ and affirm it daily.

You are blessed with every spiritual blessings (Eph1:3). You are the head and not the tail (2Cor2:14). You are complete in Christ Col2:10. You have the mind of Christ 1Cor.2:16). You are royalty (1Pet2:9) of the chosen generation, a King-priest to God, ambassador of Christ (2Cor.5:18), healed by His stripes 1Pet2:24), a new creation (2Cor5:17) with the very life of God. You are more than a conqueror (Rom8: 37)

Yes, think of whatsoever is true, just, pure, admirable, lovely, of good report etc ( Phil4:8)

Say what God said;

New International Version

5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,

“Never will I leave you;

    never will I forsake you.”

6 So we say with confidence,

“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.

What can mere mortals do to me?)

Heb,13:5-6

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Eph4: 29, 32

This is how to keep Satan in his proper place-Under Your Feet.
