Being Born Again to Reign (2)
Jesus so loved you
And He laid down His life for you
Not willing that you die in your sin
Unless you accept this truth
And turn to Him for salvation
Receiving Him as Lord and Saviour
You will have yourself to blame that day.
Friend, that Day is fast approaching, in fact it is at the Door. I have told and others have too. What are you waiting for? Summer has passed, winter is coming and you are still not saved?
Do not play fast and lose. Do not dither, delay, or be indifferent and think it’ll be alright on that day. But you say “I am a good person. I have not killed anyone.” Salvation is by grace, not of works lest anyone should boast
(Eph.2:8-9). If you can save yourself by your morality then Jesus died in vain.
You may say, “I am too bad to be saved.” Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall as white as snow. Though they be red as crimson they shall be as wool (Isa 1:18). God is not inputting your sins against you, but you have to call upon Him to be saved (2Cor5:19, Rom10:13). And Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through Him (John14:6). Life is in the Son, not in religion; it’s in a relationship and fellowship with God. Religion is man’s attempt to save himself. Morality is self-righteousness. That is unacceptable to God (Rom 3:23, Rom 6:23).
This is the record, the testimony, the Real Deal: that God had given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life and whoever does not have the Son does not have life (1John5:11-12). In Him was life which lighted the son of men. He was the light that shined in the darkness and the darkness and the darkness could not overcome it (John1:4-5). Today, if He is knocking on the door of heart. Will you let Him in? Is there room in your “inn”? Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart. This is the Day of Salvation. This is the acceptable time (2Cor.6:2). Stop postponing the day. Tomorrow is not promised anyone. Tomorrow may be too late (James 4:13-14).
Are you ready?
Now pray this prayer after me:
Heavenly Father,
I have heard the Good News of Salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ and today. I come as I am.
I accept that Jesus died for me and I cannot saved myself. I admit that on the third day You raised Him up to give life to all who call upon You.
Today, I call upon you. Accept me as Your own. I invite Jesus to take His rightful place as my Lord and Saviour.
Thank You, O God that I am born again, the old has gone and the New has come. I am a New Creation! (Rom 10:9-10, 2Cor5:17)
Now if you said that prayer from your heart, meaningfully and sincerely, you are saved. God now inputs His righteousness to you. You are accepted in the Beloved. You are now a citizen of heaven. The angels are partying because of your wise decision. (Eph1:6, Phil. 3:20, 1Cor1:30)
