Good Idea or ‘God-Idea'( by Fenny West)

“One World Government.”

“One World Economic Order.”

“One World Religion.”

Sounds a good idea; but we all know that every good idea is not a “God-idea”

²And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Rom12:2

Unyielding

Goliath, the Giant of Gath

Met his match in little David,

Who showed, “One with God is majority.”

Goliath bit the dust,

no matter how macho.

Similarly, Jesus won the victory

When He triumphed through the cross.

One with Jesus is still majority.

Because He rose from the dead,

Giving us New Life and authority.

⁵⁰So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him. But there was no sword in the hand of David.

⁵¹Therefore David ran and stood over the Philistine, took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it. And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled.

Goliath, the Giant of Gath

will manipulate you if allow him.

He will play mind games with you,

Saying, “Has God said?”

And when you listen and obey him,

he pulls a fast one, pulls the rug out

from beneath your feet

he specialises in telling lies

He thrives on causing you to doubt God.

Genesis 3: The Temptation and Fall of Man

Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”

⁴⁴You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

Is like Lucifer, Satan, your adversary.

He will often pretend he does not exist

to deceive you and steal your victory.

But you must stand your ground, be on your guard,

Be on the alert and give him no room.

Be not ignorant of his stratagems,ploys, wiles and schemes.

²⁷nor give place to the devil.Eph4:27

¹¹lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices. 2Cor 2:11

Who Says You’re Too Old to Dream?

No matter how old you are, and how far the dream, you can still go for gold.

Those planted in God’s house shall flourish in His courts. They will still bring forth fruit in their old age.

They will remain fresh and green, fat and Flourishing, to demonstrate the faithfulness of God.

Oaks of Righteousness shall be strong in the face of storms. They are fruitful trees destined to become forests.

¹³Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,

¹⁴I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Phil3:13-14

Goliath the Giant of Gath (1)

Is just like your enemy.

He will huff and puff,

Spread fear to weaken your immunity

But you must remain strong and tough.

You must remain resolute, unrelenting, and uncompromising, no matter

how the battle becomes rough.

“I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.”1 Sam17:10

“Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field!”v44
