O Lord, I Love You
O Lord, I love You.
You are my Salvation, my Redemption
my Righteousness, my Fortress
My Shelter, my Shield, my Strength, my Shepherd, my Stronghold, my impenetrable Bulwark, my Hiding Place, my Security, my Peace,
my Assurance, my Source.
You are the light of my life, life of my life.
You are my shelter, shield,
Stronghold and more than gold.
In You I live move and have my very being. You mean more than the world to me. You are greater than the greatest, higher than the highest, bigger than the biggest.
You beautiful beyond description, too marvellous for words. You are in comparable.
Yours, O Lord is the glory and honour, majesty and dominion.
Yours is the power, sovereignty and excellence.
The earth in all its fullness belongs to You.
You measure the earth with the span of your hands. You hold its waters in the hollow of your hand. You rule from sea to sea. All the inhabitants are like grasshoppers. You set up kingdoms and You pull them down.
The mountains skip like rams before You.
You hush raging seas with a whisper.
You declare the end from the beginning.
