Crucifixion and Resurrection ( Prophetic) (by Fenny West)
A prophetic look at the Crucifixion and Resurrection
What Wonderful Words of Prophecies!
The Father said He would send a Saviour after man fell
15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.” Gn3:15
He was foreshadowed in a prophecy to Abraham
3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Gen.12:3
Isaiah saw it about 800 years before He came
14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.Isa7:14
6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.Isa9:6-8
David gave us graphic descriptions of the crucifixion about 1000 of years before He came and died on the cross
Bible passage: Psalm 22:1,7,8,16,17,18
Prophet: David

My God, My God (by Fenny West)
Psalms 22: The Suffering, Praise, and Posterity of the Messiah To the Chief Musician. Set to “The Deer of the Dawn.” A Psalm of David.
1 My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? Why are You so far from helping Me, And from the words of My groaning?
6 But I am a worm, and no man; A reproach of men, and despised by the people.
7 All those who see Me ridicule Me; They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
8 “He trusted in the LORD, let Him rescue Him; Let Him deliver Him, since He delights in Him!”
12 Many bulls have surrounded Me; Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled Me.
13 They gape at Me with their mouths, Like a raging and roaring lion.
14 I am poured out like water, And all My bones are out of joint; My heart is like wax; It has melted within Me.
15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, And My tongue clings to My jaws; You have brought Me to the dust of death.
16 For dogs have surrounded Me; The congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me. They pierced My hands and My feet;
17 I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me.
18 They divide My garments among them, And for My clothing they cast lots.
20 Deliver Me from the sword, My precious life from the power of the dog
21 Save Me from the lion’s mouth And from the horns of the wild oxen! You have answered Me.
He came to save us from our Sins
21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”
Matt1:21
29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! John 1:29
He Knew Why He Came
Then Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.” John18:37
18 ” The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”
He confirmed all the prophecies in His ministry and in His crucifixion and resurrection
Resurrection
7 Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.
10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah
Ps24:7-10
10 For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.
11 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
“Why do you seek the living among the dead?Ps16:10-11
6 He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee,Luke24:6
Jesus Predicts His Death and Resurrection
He set his face like a flint to face the music of the cross despite its horror.
21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.
22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!”
23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”
He Himself said:
“All right,” Jesus replied. “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” Luke2:19
39Jesus replied, “A wicked and adulterous generation demands a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40For just as Jonah wasthree days and three nightsas in the belly of the great fish,so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Matt12:39-40
On the cross, He prayed for those crucifying Him
“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are
doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. .Luke23:34
He took care of His Mother
25Near the cross of Jesus stood His mother and her sister, as well as Mary the wife of Clopas and Mary Magdalene. 26When Jesus saw His mother and thedisciple whom He loved standing nearby, He said to His mother, “Woman, here is your son.” 27Then He said to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” So from that hour, this disciple took her into his home.… John19:25-26
He showed His humanity
It Is Finished
28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!”
29 Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.
He Foresaw the completion of His Work
30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. John19:28-30
He forgave one of the thieves crucified with Him
42Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!” 43And Jesus said to him,“Truly I tell you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” Luke23:42-43
He was separated from the Father
. 34At the ninth hour, Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” whichmeans, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”35When some of those standing nearby heard this, they said, “Behold, He is calling Elijah.”… Mark15:34-35
He died
46Then Jesus called out in a loud voice, “Father, into Your hands I commit My Spirit.” And when He had said this, He breathed His last. Luke23:46
But thank God, He did not die in vain. He rose again.
2 Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.
3 And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?”
4 But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away — for it was very large.
5 And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.
6 But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.
Mark16:2-5
Luke 24: He Is Risen
1 Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared.
2 But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb.
3 Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments.
5 Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?
6 He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee,
7 saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’ “
8 And they remembered His words.

HE Did This For You ( by Fenny West)
He Did this for You
Do you Know?
He was rejected, that we might be accepted
He took our Curse, that we might be blessed
He was wounded that we might be healed
He was put to shame that we might have a name.
He was made poor that we might be rich.
He was made sin that we might be free from sin.
The Just was punished to make the unjust just.
The Righteous was vilified that we might become righteous.
He was crucified that we might be justified.
He was condemned that we might not be condemned.
He was separated from the Father that we might be reconciled.
He died the death we deserved that we might live an abundant life.
He took our darkness that we might see His light.
He carried our burden, our load that we might be made light.
He became our sacrifice, that we might be satisfied
He was emptied to make us full and give us His fullness.
For a moment He lost Fellowship with the Father that we might be brought into fellowship.
He left His seat in glory, that we might be brought into the family of the God-kind.
The only begotten Son of God came that we might all be made sons of God.John1`:12,

Fixing Your Focus ( by Fenny West)
Fixing Your Focus
Fixing your Focus
Requires discipline;
When you’re single-minded
Like Mary who focused on Jesus;
Like Paul who forgot the past
And looked to what was ahead
And pressed on for Mark
Of the prize 🏆 of the High Calling.
Fixing your Focus.
Requires full attention
And determination
Avoiding distraction,
Like Nehemiah,
Refusing to give in to
Sanballat, Tobiah
And others cohorts.
Fixing Your Focus
Requires imitation
Of the Master
Who defied vilification
And the crucifixion.
And prayed for His enemies
And bore the shame and pain
For the purpose, He was born.
Fixing your focus
When seeking God’s face
Will bring His grace
And divine Direction.
The Holy Spirit will
Give you instruction
Guidance and counsel
As He speaks to you.
Hebrews 12:2
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Nehemiah 6:4
“Yet they sent unto me four times after this sort; and I answered them after the same manner.”
1 Corinthians 9:27
“But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”
2 that Sanballat and Geshem sent to me, saying, “Come, let us meet together among the villages in the plain of Ono.” But they thought to do me harm.
3 So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?”
4 But they sent me this message four times, and I answered them in the same manner.
5 Then Sanballat sent his servant to me as before, the fifth time, with an open letter in his hand.

Divine Direction Delivers ( by Fenny West)
Divine Direction Delivers
Your inheritance to you;
Opens your eyes to see,
Where you ought to go,
With whom you should deal,
What you should do,
And how to do what to do.
Divine Direction Delivers
Prophetic word to you,
That makes your path shine
Ever brighter to the full light of Day;
Makes you go from glory to glory
From strength to strength
and From faith to faith.
Divine Direction delivers
You from the devil’s trap;
The snare of the fowler
Like the bird from the net
Delivers your feet from the miry clay
Brings you into a new and glorious day.
21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ” This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left.Isa30:21
32 “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.Acts20:32
4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
John10:4
14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength.Prov8:14
18 But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.Prov4:18
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
Ps23:2-3

Let Go to Let God (By Fenny West)
Let Go to Let God
Let Go and Let God.
Forgive and live.
Take God at His Word.
Forgive as He forgave.
Use the key in your hands.
Your freedom is in your hands
Open the prison doors and go scot free.
Why lock yourself in?
Come out and be free.
Release and be released.
Why bind yourself?
Why inflict much pain on yourself?
When your Saviour was falsely accused,
beaten, battered and broken, bleeding,
Villified and crucified, numbered amongst transgressors, He prayed: “Father, forgive them. For they know not what they do.”
He has given you the ability to forgive through His Spirit and the resurrection.
The question is: Will you take it and use it?
Why are you an enemy to yourself?
Why would you hinder yourself?
Why put a stumbling block on your path?
Why drink poison and expect to live?
Ephesians 4:31
“Lel all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice:”
Ephesians 4:32
“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”
Romans 12:14
“Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.”
Romans 12:17
“Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.”
Romans 12:21
“Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Matthew 6:12
“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”
Luke 23:34
“Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.”
To be free or remain bound, the choice is yours.
I set before you an open door: freedom or imprisonment.
Let Go and let God.
