Ship in Safe Hands (by Fenny West)

Ship in Safe Hands

This ship is heavily loaded divine goodies-

treasures of darkness and

hidden riches in secret places-

the abundance of the seas.

Slow and steadily she will go and flow and glow to the glory of God

until she reaches the harbour with all its cargo intact.

Meanwhile regardless

of the tempest in the sea,

she will not be perturbed because

Jesus is at the helm of her affairs.

In fact He is the pilot of the ship.

She will not go under for going over.

She will not lose any of her cargo

It is not over until He says so.

It was in the evening (Mark4:35); Jesus said, “Let us pass over to the other side” (4:35); there were other boats that went along side (4:36); Jesus was in the stern sleeping on a cushion (4:38); when Jesus rebuked the storm He said, “Peace! Be still!” (4:39); and the disciples were terrified (4:41) and asked “Who is this?” (4:41).

Luke says that “one day” Jesus said to His disciples, “Let us go over to the other side of the lake” (8:22); He fell asleep (8:23);

Has He told you, “Let us go to the other side.”, and you think He is now sleeping on the job and uncaring despite the turbulence you face?

Calm down. It is well. He is in control. In fact, He wants you to get up and use the Word of God against the storm that you see.

Say what Jesus said: ‘Peace, Be still! And there shall be a great calm.

Guaranteed a Safe-Landing

This plane is cruising

on a high altitude to the glory of God.

The pilot is Jesus Christ Himself.
And regardless of turbulence, distractions,

wind, storm, and fire in the atmosphere,

we are assured a safe-landing to His glory.

He is more than able to keep against that day,

that which is committed into His powerful,

 exceeding abundantly able Hands.

28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. John10:28

31           What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

32   He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

33   Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.

37   Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

38   For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,

39   nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ro8:31-32,377-39

2     looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Heb12:1-2

I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” AmenMatt:28:20.

Cast Down but Unconquered

7     But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

8     We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

9     persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed –2Cor4:7-9

Seeing the Invisible

16   Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

17   For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,

18   while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.2Cor4:16-18

17   No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.

Isa54:17

When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him.

Isa59:19

” Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.

2     When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

Isa43:1-2

10   Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

Isa41:10
