Go With the Great ‘Go’ (By Fenny West)

Go with the Great ‘Go’,
God has given you.
He has equipped you,
Endowed and empowered you.

Refuse any intimidation.
Debunk any limitation.
Go with determination.
Go, despite opposition .

You were born to share the good news.
So Never mind those who refuse.
Go to the highways and byways.
Go to the nooks and the crannies.

I say, go with the Great ‘Go.’
With the Spirit always flow.
Let His Word dwell richly;
Oozing out of you profusely.

Be His written and spoken epistle.
Be His City on a Hill not hidden.
Be the salt of the earth

Be His hands and feet and mega phone.

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matt28:18-19

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”Mark16:16-18

I have Chosen You ( Fenny West)

I Have Chosen You

Autumn Floral Heart — Image by © Royalty-Free/Corbis

I have chosen you,
And ordained you,
For My purpose-
predetermined purpose.

So who will oppose?

I qualified you,
And equipped you,
With treasures of darkness;
Hidden riches in secret places.

I made you a tree of righteousness,
For you to emit your brightness;
For you to shine in the darkness;
For you to display My faithfulness.

I have chosen you

To imitate Me,

Represent Me,

As my Ambassador.

I have chosen you,

And graced you,

Adorned you,

And Fortified you.

So know who you are,

And whose you are.

You are a city on a hill,

A salt of the earth,

A light of the world.

The Grace of God Sufficient ( by Fenny West)

The Grace of God Sufficient,
Very able in every situation.
It is very super-abundant,
Regardless of your station.

It goes to the lowest valley,
To lift  you to the highest mountain.
It guarantees your reign and victory,
As you daily drink from His fountain.

The Grace of God is immeasurable,
Locating you wherever you are.
It makes all things possible,
No matter how hopeless or how far.

It takes you from glory to glory,
And makes you a wonder; an enigma.
It changes your playing field; your story.
And you keep going stronger and stronger.

God’s grace is always ever sufficient
To put you ahead; and put you over.
It will go to any depth, height breadth or length,
Regardless of the obstacles or weather.

5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,2Cor3:5

Giving Glory to God ( Fenny West)

Giving Glory to God

Giving glory to God

Is what I live to do,

Be it through thick or thin,

In summer or winter.

Giving glory to God

In my writing and singing;

In my preaching and witnessing

And In my loving and living.

Giving glory to God

Not by might nor by power,

But by the Spirit of God-

Doing His bidding and will.

Giving glory to God

My reason for being.

Fulfilling purpose

Finishing with finesse.

Peace from the Prince of Peace ( by Fenny West)

Peace from the Prince of Peace

Peace proceeds, not from prosperity,

Power, possession or property;

Not from position or promotion,

Manipulation or acclamation ;

But from the Prince of Peace.

Peace remains in spite of happenings;

In sunshine or dark forebodings.

Peace of God remains standing

And it passes all understanding.

Why? Because it is from the Prince of Peace.

This peace is costly and priceless;

It is deep and bottomless;

It is wise and boundless;

It is high, without recess ;

This peace stems from the Prince of Peace.

You too can find this great peace

By calling on the Prince of Peace.

And when He comes to give His peace,

Your turmoil, emptiness and stress will cease,

As He gives You the divine treasury keys.

Favour Will Follow You ( by Fenny West)

Favour will follow You

Israelites Found Favour

You will plunder those who hinder

Because of the favour of God,

Like the Egyptians favoured the Israelites .

Exodus 12

36 And the LORD had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested. Thus they plundered the Egyptians.

Exodus 3

21 And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be, when you go, that you shall not go empty-handed.

Exodus 11

3 And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants and in the sight of the people.

Leviticus 26

9 ‘ For I will look on you favorably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you.

Esther found favour

Esther found favour not because she was so beautiful but because of the plan of God to save His people through her.

17 The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.

When Haman’s wicked plot to exterminate the Jews was revealed, Esther’s great moment came for her to petition the King to spare her people of the impending danger and doom and disaster hanging over their heads. It was favour that opened the door for her to see the face of the King. Despite the odds and the obstacles against you, you too will see the face of the King because of the blood of the eternal covenant.

Esther 5

2 So it was, when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, that she found favor in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther went near and touched the top of the scepter.

8 If I have found favor in the sight of the king, and if it pleases the king to grant my petition and fulfill my request, then let the king and Haman come to the banquet which I will prepare for them, and tomorrow I will do as the king has said.”

Esther 7
3 Then Queen Esther answered and said, “If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it pleases the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request.

Ruth Found Favour

Naomi had lost all her faith following the death of her husband and sons in a foreign land. But Ruth had seen the best of times in the life of Naomi when she had faith. She had been built up and was now used to encourage Naomi. She would not go back to her people but stuck to Naomi and vowed to identify with her people, die where she died and serve her God.

She returned home with Naomi and gradually God turned the table around when Ruth got married to Boaz, a multimillionaire of his time. And what more? She bore a son for him, Obed, who was the father of Jesse, the Father of David, a direct descendant of Christ. So no matter how unqualified you may seem in the venture you have embarked upon, remember how favour located Ruth and transformed her life. God remains the same- yesterday today and forever.

Mephibosheth Found Favour

Favour will follow You

Because Your God is faithful and true.

Mephibosheth expected the worst

But God gave him the best:

A place on the table of grace,

Eating as one of the sons of King David.

What a favour! Because covenant spoke for him.

The New covenant established on

better promises will speak for you.

2Sam9: 11 Then Ziba said to the king, “According to all that my lord the king has commanded his servant, so will your servant do.” “As for Mephibosheth,” said the king, “he shall eat at my table like one of the king’s sons.”

Lot found favour with Abraham

When God called Abraham to leave his father’s house to a place he would show him, Abraham took Lot along with him because of the compassion he had on him, who had lost his father.

Favour will come knocking on your door too despite your handicap and misfortune.

Abraham found favour

Abraham had favour with God regarding his intercession for Lot.

21 And he said to him, “See, I have favored you concerning this thing also, in that I will not overthrow this city for which you have spoken. Gen19

Those who sow the seed of favour often find favour themselves.

David found favour with Jonathan in King Saul’s house. He revealed the plot of King Saul to kill David and enabled him to run away. God will raise someone in the house of your enemies to reveal their sinister plan against you and you will escape unhurt.

Joseph found favour in Potiphar’s

Joseph found favour in Potiphar’s house even after being carried away as a slave, despite his shattered grandiose dream.

 Genesis 39

4 So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority.

Joseph found favour even in prison

You will find favour in the most unlikely places as you put your trust in the Lord.

All adverse circumstances will work together for your good.

21 But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

Expect favour, give favour and favour will follow you.

12 But You, O LORD, shall endure forever, And the remembrance of Your name to all generations.
13 You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come. Ps102:12-13

Psalms 5
12 For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.

Psalms 30
5 For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

7 LORD, by Your favor You have made my mountain stand strong; You hid Your face, and I was troubled.

Psalms 35
27 Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, ” Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”

Step on the Water of Your Vision(2) ( Fenny West)

Step Out On the Water of Your Vision (2)

https://youtu.be/2N0SxMeoofU

Step out on the Water of your Vision

Standing on the Word you have heard.

Sowing precious seeds and taking action

Singing, praying, rehearsing and confessing the Word.

Know that He who gave the Word is faithful

Know that the God you serve is All-powerful

Know that He is God all by Himself, self-existent.

Know that He is dependable and preeminent

Know that all things are working together for you

Know that the Lord will surely bring you through

Know that the Lord your God is Faithful and True.

Be not moved by the ferocious wind

Be not moved by the adverse circumstance

Be not tempted to look behind like Lot’s wife

Be not exasperated like Rachel: ‘Give me a child or I die.’

Be undaunted by the devil’s taunt: ‘Had God said?’

Be full of faith and say like Esther, ‘If I perish, I perish.’

Move from faith to trust like Daniel’s Friends

‘The Lord whom we serve will deliver us but if not

We will not bow down and worship your god.’

Pray the Lord to open your eyes to see that:

There are more with you than are against you.

What God has given you is sufficient for you.

The pot of oil and bin of floor is sufficient for you.

The sling and stone  in your hand is sufficient for you.

Jesus Walks on the Sea

 22 Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away.23 And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there.24 But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear.27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”28 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.33 Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.” Matt14:22-33

Know the One in you is greater
Than your Adversary, Lucifer

Every indolence ban
The gift of God in you fan

Know your are God-kind
Crave for His mind
With feet like the Hind’s
Don’t be left behind!

Stand strong despite the test
Stand and surf the crest
Go forward with all zest
Know for sure you’re blest
If you and I do our best
God will surely do the rest.

Stay in the Middle of Your Vision
, in the middle of your field, refuse to yield, defend your patch, strike the Philistines down, fight even if others run, depend on God. God will bring victory.

2Sam23:11-12-11 Next to him was Shammah son of Agee the Hararite. When the Philistines banded together at a place where there was a field full of lentils, Israel’s troops fled from them. 12 But Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field. He defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the LORD brought about a great victory.

The Battle is the Lord’s
15 And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the LORD to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

Put on God’s whole Armour
Eph6:10-18 0Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

You’re in a warfare
2Cor10:3-5 3For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

You’re a soldier
2Tm:2:3: Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
2Tm:2:4: No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
Take the kingdom by force
Matt.11:12 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.
2Tm:4:7: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
1Tm:6:12: Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
1Co:9:26: I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
God is on your side
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Ac:5:39: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.
Ac:23:9: And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees’ part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.

Who shall separate us fro the Love of God?
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:

“ For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”[a]

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Zec:10:5: And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.
Zec:14:3: Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Ph’p:1:6: Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Ph’p:1:15: Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
Ph’p:2:13: For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Ph’p:2:19: But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.
Fight for your mind
Ph’p:4:8: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

How Long? ( by Fenny West)

How Long Will It Be Ere They Believe me? Num14:11

Be not confused by the old language.

How long will it be before you believe me?
Why would you because of mercies unseen doubt My parentage?
How can you easily forget My countless mercies, like the ten spies?
How can you easily forget that My mercies are new every morning and great is My faithfulness?

Sarah was in this place and got Abraham to compromise.Gen16

Abraham was in this place and was depressed under the impression that Eliezer would be his heir. Unbelief also caused him to lie protect himself. Gen12 & 15

But I was merciful and reassured him, reaffirmed my covenant and even changed his name to line up with My will for him.Gen17

I called the thing which be not as though it was. And that is the nature of faith. The just shall live by faith. I used the heavens to paint a picture of the greatness in store for him and he believed. Gen15

He turned the corner even after the mistake of fathering Ishmael. In the fullness time, at the set time, I gave him laughter ( Isaac). Gen21

That son at his old age meant everything to him-apple of his eyes. So I put him to the test: “Take now your son, your beloved son to a place I will show you and sacrifice him…” Gen22

He obeyed and left immediately. He passed his test with flying colours. Why? He had learned that great is My faithfulness. I am not One Who lies. Heaven and earth would pass away but not one tittle of My word will fall to the ground without fulfilment. I do not bring to the time of birth and shut the womb.
