Build on the Foundation of the Word

Unless the Lord builds your house

It is like a tottering fence;

Like a house built by a mouse,

Like a city without defence.

Unless you’re standing on the Word,

You’re building castles in the air

And vanity will be your reward

The truth in this matter is crystal clear.

As for me and my household

We will let the Lord build our house

So that we can stand, strong and bold;

When the storm and wind blow on every house.

We choose to build on the foundation of the Word,

Regardless of what the  world says.

We choose to be guided by the counsel of the God

And hold fast to what God commands and says.

 

 

 

Psalm 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. Amen
