Fight for Your field
To God totally yield
Know He is your Shield
The whole armour wield
To Satan never yield
Stay in your field.

Fight with God’s might
Fight for what is right
Victory is in sight
Fight in your night
Fight when it’s bright
Fight even if it’s tight

Fight for your family
Defeat your enemy
Fight for your purity
Fight for your testimony
Fight for your integrity
Fight for your unity
Fight with importunity
Fight with every opportunity
Know your God is Almighty
Know you’re destined for victory.

Fight for your excellence
Fight against decadence
Fight for God’s pre-eminence
Fight for your resurgence
Fight when the battle is thick and dense
Know that God is your defence

Put on the whole armour
You’re in a war
Fight for what’s worth fighting for
Take God’s power in store
Rise from the floor
Keep within the Law

Fight with everything in your bones
Fight even if you’re stoned
Fight even when you’re alone
For this field much has been sown
Draw strength from His throne
Know He fights for His own.

Fight with faith like Shammah
Depend on Jehovah Shammah
He’s your Victorious Banner
The Rock that is higher
The Author and Finisher
The Alpha and Omega

Stand and fight your Goliath-
The phoney foe from Gath.
What it takes you’ve got
The Holy Ghost
The Lord of Hosts
The First and the Last

Shammah had the sword
But God fought the battle
Stand on His powerful word
Mount up like an eagle

You’re God’s sheep, part of His herd
Use the Spirit’s Sword
Stand on the Rhema you have heard
Stand on the living dynamic word
It is a life-giving bread
Compass to those Spirit-led

Fight like a lion that’s losing her cubs
Fight even if you’re badly wounded
Fight against thieves come to rob
Fight even if you’re hounded

Know that you’re a soldier
Not called to surrender
Called to be an overcomer
Called to lift God’s banner
Know the One in you is greater
Than your Adversary, Lucifer

Fight for your vision
Avoid any division
Fight for your restoration
And full compensation
Fight for your resurrection
Fight for your salvation

Fight for lost souls
Fight against demonic spirits in control
Fight to get out of the hole
Fight for God‘s control
Surrender in whole
From your head’s crown to you feet’s sole

You’re a New Creation
With no more condemnation
Called for dominion
Make a quality decision
In spite of all opposition
For God’s glorification

Fight the best you can
According to God’s plan
Ignore those who ran
Depend not on man
Every indolence ban
The gift of God in you fan

Fight for your mind
Saint, mind your mind
Know your are God-kind
Crave for His mind
With feet like the Hind’s
Don’t be left behind!

Stand strong despite the test
Stand and surf the crest
Go forward with all zest
Know for sure you’re blest
If you and I do our best
God will surely do the rest.

Stay in the Middle of Your Vision
, in the middle of your field, refuse to yield, defend your patch, strike the Philistines down, fight even if others run, depend on God. God will bring victory.

2Sam23:11-12-11 Next to him was Shammah son of Agee the Hararite. When the Philistines banded together at a place where there was a field full of lentils, Israel’s troops fled from them. 12 But Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field. He defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the LORD brought about a great victory.

The Battle is the Lord’s
15 And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the LORD to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

Put on God’s whole Armour
Eph6:10-18 0Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

You’re in a warfare
2Cor10:3-5 3For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

You’re a soldier
2Tm:2:3: Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
2Tm:2:4: No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
Take the kingdom by force
Matt.11:12 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.
2Tm:4:7: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
1Tm:6:12: Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
1Co:9:26: I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
God is on your side
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Ac:5:39: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.
Ac:23:9: And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees’ part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.

Who shall separate us fro the Love of God?
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:

“ For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”[a]

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Zec:10:5: And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.
Zec:14:3: Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Ph’p:1:6: Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Ph’p:1:15: Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
Ph’p:2:13: For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Ph’p:2:19: But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.
Fight for your mind
Ph’p:4:8: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Jesus’ Christmas List

Give me your heart

Best place to start

Make Me the core

Joy will be sure.

Let Me direct

Let Me affect

Give me your trust

Make me the first.

Point them to Me

Who cannot see

Bring them to Me.

Serve them for Me.

Show them My light

Those in the night

Show them My grace

To see My Face.

Celebrate Me

And worship Me

Focus on Me

Not on the Tree.

41   And Jesus answered and said to her, Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

The Reason For the Season ( by Fenny West)

The Reason For the Season

birth of Jesus2 birth of Jesus4 purpose jesus in Christ what have and are pray without ceasing

He Descended from the Heights

to Lift Us from the Depths

He laid aside His majesty

To change our story.

He stooped down so low

To free us from the foe;

To lift us up from the dung.

Despite all our wrong.

He emptied Himself

To make us one with Himself.

He took our pain

To give us a gain

Took from the devil, the reins

That we with Him will reign.

He drained His life.

To fill us with life.

He clothe us with His garment

Like a Groom full of commitment.

He brought us into His parlour

Because of His favour.

He washed us with His blood

To remove the stains from sin-mud.

He made us us worthy of his embrace.

All because of His great, super-abundant grace.

He interceded for us

To justify us.

He made us accepted in the beloved.

Because of His great love.

He took our place on the cross

So to the Father we can cross.

Today, if you hear His Voice

Make Him your prime choice.

Because He is the reason

For the season.

11   You crown the year with Your goodness,

And Your paths drip with abundance. Ps65:11

1     Bless the LORD, O my soul;

And all that is within me, bless His holy name!

2     Bless the LORD, O my soul,

And forget not all His benefits:

3     Who forgives all your iniquities,

     Who heals all your diseases,

4     Who redeems your life from destruction,

Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

5     Who satisfies your mouth with good things,

So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

 Ps103:1-5

1     Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!

     For His mercy endures forever.

2     Let the redeemed of the LORD say so,

Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,

3     And gathered out of the lands,

From the east and from the west,

From the north and from the south.

 Ps107:1-3

1     I will bless the LORD at all times;

His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2     My soul shall make its boast in the LORD;

The humble shall hear of it and be glad.

3     Oh, magnify the LORD with me,

And let us exalt His name together.

4     I sought the LORD, and He heard me,

And delivered me from all my fears.

5     They looked to Him and were radiant,

And their faces were not ashamed.

 Ps34:1-5

1     Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!

       For His mercy endures forever.

2     Oh, give thanks to the God of gods!

       For His mercy endures forever.

3     Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords!

       For His mercy endures forever:

4     To Him who alone does great wonders,

       For His mercy endures forever;

5     To Him who by wisdom made the heavens,

       For His mercy endures forever;

6     To Him who laid out the earth above the waters,

       For His mercy endures forever;

7     To Him who made great lights,

For His mercy endures forever —

8     The sun to rule by day,

       For His mercy endures forever;

9     The moon and stars to rule by night,

       For His mercy endures forever.

 Ps136:1-9

4     Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,

And into His courts with praise.

Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

5     For the LORD is good;

     His mercy is everlasting,

And His truth endures to all generations.

Ps100:4-5

1     Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!

     For His mercy endures forever.

Paul was amongst prisoner’s being taken to Rome. They had suffered a shipwreck and nearly died. When they were, downcast, depressed, in deep despair on the sea and refused food for long because of the hopeless situation, it was Paul who encouraged them to eat and share a comforting prophetic word with them that there will be no loss of life. Only the ship would be lost.

It happened just as he prophesied and they were forced to abandon the ship run for their lives to the nearest Island- Malta.

They were very cold and the Islanders were unusually kind to them by making fire for them to warm themselves. Paul went and brought sticks to buttress, fuel and enhance the fire.

As he put the sticks on the fire, suddenly from nowhere, a huge poisonous snake came out of the fire and fastened itself on his hand. He simply shook it off.  The people around him began to look at him with surprise and disdain, saying, “No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped the sea, yet justice does not allow to live. They were sure he would fall down and die very soon.  But nothing happened to him. They then changed their tune: “He must be a god!”Act28:1-3

As a child of God, you are the redeemed of the Lord, accepted in the beloved, healed, filled with the Holy Spirit. Greater is He in you than he who is in the world. Although in this world, you do not belong to the world. You belong to Zion. Heaven is your home. You are a child of God, purchased with a great price- the blood of Jesus. You’re the light of the world, salt of the earth, a city on a hill, God’s treasured possession, a royalty, a peculiar person, a living stone, the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and this, regardless of how you feel or what people think or say about you.

You are born of love so live a life of love. You are graced so live a life of grace. As He favoured you, favour others. See them through the eyes of God. Live a supernatural life.

And as you do, no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper. Those who conspire against you will discover to their dismay that they were working in your favour. Why? God will fight for you. 28        And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Ro8:28

31        What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

37   Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ro8:28,31-35,37-39

“Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.14 The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”EX14:13-14

So be like Paul, when

Anger wraps itself round you, shake it off!

When malice wraps itself around you, shake it off!

When bitterness wraps itself around you, shake it off!

When disdain wraps itself around you, shake it off!

When unforgiveness wraps itself around you, shake it off!

When mediocrity wraps itself around you, shake it off!

When sickness wraps itself around you, shake it off!

When poverty wraps itself around you, shake it off!

When myopia wraps itself around you, shake it off!

When barrenness wraps itself around you, shake it off!

When your unpleasant past wraps itself around you, shake it off!

There was the story of an old donkey which fell into a disused well. The owner for some reasons, decided to block the well with the donkey in it. In effect he wanted to bury the donkey alive. Could you believe it? How awful!  It is like some people wanting to get rid of you because you are considered a nuisance because of your condition- inherited or not.

The donkey was not amused when instead of sympathy from its owner he felt debris landing on its back from its owner.

It cried for sympathy but the sand and stones and gravels kept coming in quick succession. So the donkey made a crucial decision to shake it off and step up. It kept shaking it off and stepping up; shaking off and stepping up; shaking off and stepping up and soon to the surprise of the owner, the donkey surfaced and walked off victorious. Glory to God!

That is what you and I must do to anything God has not ordained for you that wraps itself around you.

Shake it off and step up! Shake it off and step up!

Shake it off and step up! Until you walk off in victory.

.14        Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.2Cor2:14

57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.1Co15:57 He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith.1John5:4 33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”John16:33 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed —2Cor4:7-9 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.Matt11:12 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.Rev12:11

He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mordecai was remembered

1     That night the king could not sleep. So one was commanded to bring the book of the records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.2 And it was found written that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s eunuchs, the doorkeepers who had sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus.3 Then the king said, “What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?”

And the king’s servants who attended him said, “Nothing has been done for him.”

4     So the king said, “Who is in the court?” Now Haman had just entered the outer court of the king’s palace to suggest that the king hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him.

5     The king’s servants said to him, “Haman is there, standing in the court.”

And the king said, “Let him come in.”

6     So Haman came in, and the king asked him, “What shall be done for the man whom the king delights to honor?”

Now Haman thought in his heart, “Whom would the king delight to honor more than me?”7 And Haman answered the king, “For the man whom the king delights to honor,8 let a royal robe be brought which the king has worn, and a horse on which the king has ridden, which has a royal crest placed on its head.9 Then let this robe and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king’s most noble princes, that he may array the man whom the king delights to honor. Then parade him on horseback through the city square, and proclaim before him: ‘Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!’ “

10   Then the king said to Haman, “Hurry, take the robe and the horse, as you have suggested, and do so for Mordecai the Jew who sits within the king’s gate! Leave nothing undone of all that you have spoken.”

11   So Haman took the robe and the horse, arrayed Mordecai and led him on horseback through the city square, and proclaimed before him, “Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!”

Daniel was remembered

10   The queen, because of the words of the king and his lords, came to the banquet hall. The queen spoke, saying, “O king, live forever! Do not let your thoughts trouble you, nor let your countenance change.11 There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the Spirit of the Holy God. And in the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, were found in him; and King Nebuchadnezzar your father — your father the king — made him chief of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers.12 Inasmuch as an excellent spirit, knowledge, understanding, interpreting dreams, solving riddles, and explaining enigmas were found in this Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar, now let Daniel be called, and he will give the interpretation.”

13   Then Daniel was brought in before the king. The king spoke, and said to Daniel, “Are you that Daniel who is one of the captives from Judah, whom my father the king brought from Judah?14 I have heard of you, that the Spirit of God is in you, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom are found in you.15 Now the wise men, the astrologers, have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing and make known to me its interpretation, but they could not give the interpretation of the thing.16 And I have heard of you, that you can give interpretations and explain enigmas. Now if you can read the writing and make known to me its interpretation, you shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold around your neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.”

Dan5:10-16

Joseph was remembered

Genesis 42

9 Then Joseph remembered the dreams which he had dreamed about them, and said to them, “You are spies! You have come to see the nakedness of the land!”

8 Now it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt and all its wise men. And Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them for Pharaoh.

9          Then the chief butler spoke to Pharaoh, saying: “I remember my faults this day.10 When Pharaoh was angry with his servants, and put me in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, both me and the chief baker,11 we each had a dream in one night, he and I. Each of us dreamed according to the interpretation of his own dream.12 Now there was a young Hebrew man with us there, a servant of the captain of the guard. And we told him, and he interpreted our dreams for us; to each man he interpreted according to his own dream.13 And it came to pass, just as he interpreted for us, so it happened. He restored me to my office, and he hanged him.”

39   Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.40 You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.”41 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”

42   Then Pharaoh took his signet ring off his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand; and he clothed him in garments of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck.43 And he had him ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried out before him, “Bow the knee!” So he set him over all the land of Egypt.44 Pharaoh also said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, and without your consent no man may lift his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.”45 And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnath-Paaneah. And he gave him as a wife Asenath, the daughter of Poti-Pherah priest of On. So Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.
