Let’s Go To the Other Side

Let’s Go To the Other Side
Was the word of the Master
So no matter what betide
I will surely and steadily cross over.
Let’s Go To the Other Side
The Land flowing with milk and honey.
SO regardless of the storm on the ocean wide
I am coming back with a testimony.
Let’s Go To the Other Side
Is the word of my Maker
When more do I need when He’s on my side?
I will therefore go higher and higher.
Let’s Go To the Other Side
If He says ‘Yes’ who can say ‘No’?
So on this mountain I will ride.
Regardless of Goliath or foes.
Let’s Go To the Other Side
Come storm, wind or fire
In the word of God I will abide
Until I obtain His and my desire.
Let’s Go To the Other Side
God’s word will never fail
I will stand even when I am tried
And on eagle’s wings I will assail.
Let Us Go to the Other Side
That other shall be my portion
So I see with the eyes of faith, the other side
And press on and on despite the opposition.
8 Now the just shall live by faith;
But if anyone draws back,
My soul has no pleasure in him.”
Heb10:38
17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
Rom1:17
7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2Cor5:7
35 On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.”36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him.37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling.38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”
39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.40 But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?”41 And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”
1 Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes.
Mark4:35-5:1
19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”
20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”
Matt17:19-21
“With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matt19:26

God Has Done Great Things (by C.H. Spurgeon)
God Has Done Great Things
”
The Lord hath done great things for us, whereof we are glad.” Psalm 126:3Some Christians are sadly prone to look on the dark side of everything, and to dwell more upon what they have gone through than upon what God has done for them. Ask for their impression of the Christian life, and they will describe their continual conflicts, their deep afflictions, their sad adversities, and the sinfulness of their hearts, yet with scarcely any allusion to the mercy and help which God has vouchsafed them. But a Christian whose soul is in a healthy state, will come forward joyously, and say, “I will speak, not about myself, but to the honour of my God. He hath brought me up out of an horrible pit, and out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings: and he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God. The Lord hath done great things for me, whereof I am glad.” Such an abstract of experience as this is the very best that any child of God can present. It is true that we endure trials, but it is just as true that we are delivered out of them. It is true that we have our corruptions, and mournfully do we know this, but it is quite as true that we have an all-sufficient Saviour, who overcomes these corruptions, and delivers us from their dominion. In looking back, it would be wrong to deny that we have been in the Slough of Despond, and have crept along the Valley of Humiliation, but it would be equally wicked to forget that we have been through them safely and profitably; we have not remained in them, thanks to our Almighty Helper and Leader, who has brought us “out into a wealthy place.” The deeper our troubles, the louder our thanks to God, who has led us through all, and preserved us until now. Our griefs cannot mar the melody of our praise, we reckon them to be the bass part of our life’s song, “He hath done great things for us, whereof we are glad.” |
Fertile Field of Delight ( by C. H. Spurgeon)
Fertile Field of Delight
The kindness and love of God our Saviour.” Titus 3:4
How sweet it is to behold the Saviour communing with his own beloved people! There can be nothing more delightful than, by the Divine Spirit, to be led into this fertile field of delight. Let the mind for an instant consider the history of the Redeemer’s love, and a thousand enchanting acts of affection will suggest themselves, all of which have had for their design the weaving of the heart into Christ, and the intertwisting of the thoughts and emotions of the renewed soul with the mind of Jesus. When we meditate upon this amazing love, and behold the all-glorious Kinsman of the Church endowing her with all his ancient wealth, our souls may well faint for joy. Who is he that can endure such a weight of love? That partial sense of it which the Holy Spirit is sometimes pleased to afford, is more than the soul can contain; how transporting must be a complete view of it! When the soul shall have understanding to discern all the Saviour’s gifts, wisdom wherewith to estimate them, and time in which to meditate upon them, such as the world to come will afford us, we shall then commune with Jesus in a nearer manner than at present. But who can imagine the sweetness of such fellowship? It must be one of the things which have not entered into the heart of man, but which God hath prepared for them that love him. Oh, to burst open the door of our Joseph’s granaries, and see the plenty which he hath stored up for us! This will overwhelm us with love. By faith we see, as in a glass darkly, the reflected image of his unbounded treasures, but when we shall actually see the heavenly things themselves, with our own eyes, how deep will be the stream of fellowship in which our soul shall bathe itself! Till then our loudest sonnets shall be reserved for our loving benefactor, Jesus Christ our Lord, whose love to us is wonderful, passing the love of women.
Keep Your Dream Alive (by Fenny West)
Keep your dream alive
It matters that you are alive
God is on your side
So on the waves ride.
Keep your dream alive
You will not just survive but thrive
God is supporting you
So who can be against you?
Keep your dream Alive
No matter what betide
You have what it takes
Despite past mistakes.
Keep your dream alive
and you will arrive
There shall be a resurrection
and mammoth manifestation.
10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,11 if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.
12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Phil3:10-14
15 So the wall was finished on the twenty-fifth day of Elul, in fifty-two days.16 And it happened, when all our enemies heard of it, and all the nations around us saw these things, that they were very disheartened in their own eyes; for they perceived that this work was done by our God.
Neh6:15-16
4 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 2Cor2:14
Bought and Brought ( by Fenny West)
Bought and Brought
Bought and brought;
Bought with a great price;
The precious blood of Jesus,
Brought from afar-
The wilderness.
Brought near by God.
Born of the word of God.
Born bold and strong.
Beautified, glorified.
No longer barred;
No longer an alien;
No longer without God;
No longer without hope;
No longer in sin;
No longer sitting in darkness;
No longer ensnared or bastardised;
No longer in prison.

Now saved to serve
An instrument of reconciliation
A friend of God.
Now a partaker of the divine nature

Now created for good works

God’s field
God’s temple
Now triumphant

more than a conqueror
Now set free for freedom

with a heart set on things above
Now with a heart after God’s heart
Now with a mind of Christ
Now fulfilling vision
Now with a purpose

Now justified, now longer condemned

Hidden riches in secret places;

Now blessed with every spiritual blessings in heavenly places
Now chosen, sealed, celebrated, surrounded by angelic hosts.
Now a royal priesthood, a king and a priest of God,
Now a peculiar person, living stone,

Glory be to the Most High!
9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. 1Pet2:9-10
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Eph2:10
.30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God — and righteousness and sanctification and redemption – 1Cor1:30
.17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.2Cor5:17-21
14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 2Cor2:14-15
12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
Col1:12-14
-
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Ro8:1-231 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?36 As it is written: We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
-
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Ro8:
-
” For Your sake we are killed all day long;
-
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
