The Glory of His Word! (By Pastor Chris)
The Glory Of His Word!
Wednesday, May 20th .
Pastor Chris
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16).
In the New Testament, we live the Word! We see the glory of God in His Word; that glory impacts our spirits and reflects outwardly as we study and meditate on the Word. This happened to Moses in the Old Testament; He had been in the presence of the Lord for forty days and forty nights receiving God’s Word. The words he heard completely transformed him, and the skin of his face literally began to glow (Exodus 34:29).
All the time Moses was in God’s presence, all he heard was God’s Word. God didn’t touch Moses or give him any physical food! Nothing else happened on that mountain, except that God was there giving him the commandments. Yet, when God was through talking to him, his face radiated the glory of God such that the children of Israel couldn’t look at his face (2 Corinthians 3:7).
This is what happens whenever you yield yourself to the ministry of God’s Word; the glory of the Word inundates your spirit and rests upon you. In our case, in the New Testament, it’s even more glorious than what Moses experienced. The glory of His Word in us far exceeds what Moses had: “For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth” (2 Corinthians 3:9-10).
This inherent glory in you is what Apostle Paul describes in 2 Corinthians 3:18 saying, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” As we behold or contemplate the glory of God in the Word of God, we’re metamorphosed; we’re transfigured into the same glory that we see in the Word. Blessed be God!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the glory of your Word in my life, and the manifestation of that glory in and around me! Your power, beauty, and excellence are revealed through me to my world, and my life is aglow with your presence; my light shines ever so brightly, drawing men to righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Further Study: 2 Corinthians 3:7-9 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: 8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? 9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. ;
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. ;
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Ministering to the Lord ( Fenny West)
Ministering to the Lord
Will make you glow
And it will show
It puts Him first
And you will not be last
You’ve made Him your choice
And You’ll hear His voice
Divine direction will come
Distractions will go
Intimacy will grow
You’ve given Him first place
And You‘ll see His face
He’ll tell you what to do
In the face of the storm
And you will have calm.
Ministering to the Lord
Is a word for the wise
And when you heed you’ll rise
Do it consciously
Do it deliberately
Do it willingly
Do it profusely
Do it purposefully
Praise Him for who He is
Praise Him for what He has done
Praise Him for what He can do
Praise Him for what He is doing
Worship Him in the beauty of holiness.
Bow down and adore Him
Dance and praise Him
Lift up holy hands
Shout His praise
with reckless abandon.
The disciples did
Moses did
David did
Samuel did,
You too can

As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”3 Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away. Acts13:218 But Samuel ministered before the LORD, even as a child, wearing a linen ephod. 1Sam2:18

.8 At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister to Him and to bless in His name, to this day. Deut10:8
Greatness Without Godliness ( by Fenny West )
Greatness without Godliness is Foolishness
Greatness without godliness
Is a call to disaster,
Gateway to a big crash;
Digging a grave for yourself
A deception- delusion;
Dead man walking- time bomb
A spiritual poverty, like Laodiceans.
Greatness without godliness
Is nothing but foolishness;
It’s prosperity with perverseness;
It’s pride and wickedness;
It’s nothing but blindness;
Its shamelessness and nakedness;
Its’ nothing but an own-goal;
It’s shooting yourself in the foot.
Greatness without godliness
Is like little foxes that spoil the vine.
King Uzziah was here to his demise. ( 2Chro26:5,14-18)
King Saul was here to his dismay ( 1Sam31:1,4, 1Sam15,3,7,15,22-24))
Herod was here to his decay (Acts12:20-24)
Absalom was here to his shame.
He hung on the tree trapped by his long hair- his pride.
Eli was here and he died suddenly.
Nebuchadnezzar was here and was humbled.
Belshazzar became proud bold and brazen;
Defiling holy things.
He was weighed on the scale and found wanting.
He was unceremoniously overthrown.
Harman was here and was hanged
on the gallows he prepared for Mordecai.
His sons were also hanged for good measure.
King Ahab was led astray by Jezebel
And they both paid the price with their lives.
Samson was here as he lay on Delilah’s lap
And played the fool with holy things;
he saw red when his vison was gone.
Those on Sodom and Gomorrah were here
And we all know the fate that greeted them.
Greatness is good. It comes from God
But He must remain in the driving seat.
We must eschew pride- the nature of Lucifer
Who fell because of pride.
Pride goes before a fall.
God resists the proud
But gives grace to the humble.
11 Yours, O LORD, is the greatness,
The power and the glory,
The victory and the majesty;
For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours;
Yours is the kingdom, O LORD,
And You are exalted as head over all.
12 Both riches and honor come from You,
And You reign over all.
In Your hand is power and might;
In Your hand it is to make great
And to give strength to all.
13 ” Now therefore, our God,
We thank You
And praise Your glorious name.
1Chro29:11-13
5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for
” God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. 1Pet5:5-8
Prevailing Prayers- praying the Scriptures ( by Fenny West)
Prevailing Prayer
Praying the scriptures
This is a prayer prayed during a spiritual warfare to encourage myself like David did in 1Sam.30:8. It is long but also power-packed and one that I intend coming back to, to meditate upon and be renewed , inspired strengthened and charged to go from glory to glory. It is also prophetic not only because it is full of over 100 scriptures but you will find it prophetic as the Lord also comforted me during this time of divine encounter, using the scriptures also. So it’s a two- way communication as every meaningful communication should be. at the end it is concluded with scripture songs which if you learn would enable you memorise the scriptures effortlessly.
I had to push myself to see how far I can go and I was not disappointed.
For those who want to increase your memory bank of the scriptures, tis a scripture memory aid. Note the scriptures you want to memorise, arrange them thematically, quote the reference three times, then recite the scripture three times and quote the reference to end with. Later on go back to your recording and as you play your recording back try and recite the passage as the reference is being quoted before you hear the full verse. Accompany yourself and recite the verse. Now do it all by yourself, starting and ending with the reference.
Apply the scripture in prayer: say it and pray it. Use it at the earliest opportunity and frequently. The more you use it, the more it will be registered in your heart.

Road To Good Success (by Fenny West)
Road to Good Success
On the Road to Good Success you will find Goliath, lions and bears. As you embark on this road, Pharaoh will pursue you and frighten you. You must keep your eyes on Jesus and refuse any distraction. and follow the prescription God has given: Anchor your soul on His word, meditate on it day and night, eat it, digest it, speak it, believe it, do it- all of it. Then you will make you way prosperous and then you will have Good Success. Know the difference between godly success and worldly success and choose Good Success- not goods success.
Service Serves Success (by Fenny West)
Get up, Carry yourself and Go! ( by Fenny West)
Life has its twists and turns.
When it deals you a big blow,
Don’t lie down, play dead or run.
Pick yourself up and continue the show.
If God is for you who can be against you?
There are more with you than are against you.
Even what you think is against you
Is secretly working for you.
It did for Joseph. It will for you
It did for Paul. It will for you
It did for David. It will for you.
It did for Jesus. It will for you.
MAY (by Fenny West)
May you seek first the Lord’s kingdom and His righteousness
May you be graced more than you can ask or think.
May you see goodness and mercy all the days of your life.
May God smile on you.
May God order each step of your way.
May you be blessed to be a blessing
May you fulfil your vision and the reason for your being.
May you walk by faith and not by sight.
May whatever your hand touches prosper to the glory of God.
As your days so may your strength be.
May you fear no evil because the Lord is with you.
May the Lord fight your battle and give you peace on all fronts.
May those who come against you in one way flee in seven ways.
May you be the head and not the tail.
May the Lord do for you more than you can ask or think or even dream of.
