Light My Day, O Lord ( by Fenny West)

O Lord, my God.
You are the only wise God.
You are the Best of the best.
I call upon Your Name;
the Greatest and sweetest name of all.
I step into this day, knowing that You are there.
I may not know what the day holds; but I know who holds the day.

Light my day, O Lord
Make every crooked path straight for Your name’s sake.
For I cannot make it through without You.
You are my confidence; You are my hiding place.
You are my source, my wisdom and my light.

I yield my whole being into Your Hands;
Confident that Your Hands are the safest hands ever.
For with You I am secure and I have all I need.
I give You thanks and praise for the days gone bye.
For You have kept me even when I did not know.
Help me Lord to shine for You;
Avoiding anything that would bring dishonour to You.
In my weakness let Your unlimited strength abound.

Blessing, honour, majesty, dominion, wisdom;
Thanksgiving, praise and glory be to You,
The Ever Living, loving, faithful and powerful God.

Difficult Roads Can be Deceptive ( by Fenny West)

difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations

Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations

Very Trying times often lad to great promotion

So my friend in your rough times do not give up

Rest assured that God’s compassion has not dried up.

So keep focused, pressing on the road to heaven

God will take you to the other side- the milky haven

Use your difficulties serve glorious opportunities

To catapult you to you to a land of many victories

The difficult terrain is building up your muscles

The pot holes, hazards – rain and shine will not muzzle

God will make a way where there seems to be no way

Keep going, keep pushing, trusting that Jesus will make a way.

28  And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Ro8:28

1    What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

7    But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed —2Cor4:7-9

1     Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
