When Worry Wakes You Up

When worry wakes you up

Turn your attention to God

He never sleeps- always up.

Take comfort from His word.

Why worry? Begin to pray

And the peace of God will come

Focus on Jesus, don’t stray,

And He will calm your storm.

Worry will wear you out

Give fuel to your enemy,

Make you fear and doubt

Becloud any possibility.

Worry wastes your energy

Undermines the word of God

Magnifies your energy

Belittles your Source and God.

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Phil4:6-7

Your Harvest Shall Be Great

Your harvest shall be great

Despite the current storm

Know, God is never late

But cooking in the storm.

In His time He will come

Bringing you open doors

That will calm every storm

And lift you from the floor.

You will enter a new day

Of harvest and plenty

That long-awaited pay day

Of fruit and prosperity.

You will overtake kings

Who have long gone ahead

As you begin to sing

A New Song from the Head.

12        The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13        Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God.

14        They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing,

15        To declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. Ps92:12-14

” Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

When the Journey Gets Tough

When the journey gets tough

From billows and storms, so rough

Lord, remind me, You’re there

And that You always care.

When I face theRed Sea

And behind me, the enemy,

Lord, remind me, You’re able

And that all things are possible.

When I have fished all-day

And yet nothing in the tray,

Lord, remind me to trust

In You, that I will not rust.

When the goal post has been moved

 And all my scores, removed

Lord, remind me, it’s not my end

And that I have a Good Friend.

Delivered from Suffering

8 For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life.

9 Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead,

10 who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us,2Cor1:8-10
