He Never Fails

He never fails

He will always assail

His word will prevail

His will, will not pale

It shall not trail;

Cannot be derailed.

He lives in me

Empowers me

Propels me

From glory to glory

Strength to strength

Faith to faith.

His blood speaks

For those who are weak

Who His face seek.

He makes them strong

At night gives them songs-

Songs of deliverance

Songs of Remembrance

Which make them dance.

So I shall not cower

But rather tower

In the mighty name

Ever the same-

The powerful name

The matchless name

Of Jesus Christ-

The Son of the Living God.

Clothe with Power

Clothe with Power

Clothe with power

From on high

They all towered

Were very high

No one was dry

In great deluge

From the Most High.

8     But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts1:8

Shield with Your Fire

Shield with your fire

Quench hellish fire

Lift from the mire

Silence the liar.

Reach down deep well

Where the righteous fell

Save for me to tell

Your power over spell.

Apple of my eyes

High beyond the sky

So far yet so nigh

So I need not cry.

2     When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

Tell the Town

 Tell the Town

‘People are like the grass

Like flowers of the filed;

Here today, gone tomorrow.’

‘They are like vapour,

Here for a brief moment,

Gone in a twinkling of an eye.’

Tell the town

‘Behold your God.

Acknowledge your God

and pass from death to life

from condemnation to acceptance.’

Tell the Town

‘The time has come

to make up your mind

Between good and evil;

The broad road

 and the narrow road;

Light and darkness.

Life and death’

‘This is the Day of Salvation.

This is the Acceptable Time.

This is the Day of Redemption.

It’s time to come out of prison.

This a is your DAY- your Season

Come, now let us reason.’

‘How long will you be

in theDecisionValley?

How long will you be of two opinions?

How long will you use

the fruitless excuses:

‘I am not the type’

‘I will do it tomorrow….’

‘I have enough time…’

‘I am good!’

‘I’m cool.’

‘I have killed no one.’

‘Religion is not my cup of tea.’

‘I am a self-made man.’

‘I have a great plan.’

‘I can’t be bothered.’

‘….too much hassle.’

‘…too busy.’

‘…too costly’

‘…too lazy’

‘… very confident?’

‘All roads lead to God?’

But it is written:

I am the way, the truth and the life

No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)

It’s written:

‘I am the Door of the sheep.’

‘I am the Light of the world.’

‘How shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? ‘(Hebrews2:3)

‘He who is not with Me is against Me…’ (Matt12:30)

‘All our righteousness acts like filthy rags…'( Isa64:6)

‘Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight.

Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.’ Hebrews 4:13

‘There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.’ ((Proverbs14:12)

Many years ago, the Founder of The Salvation Army, then very old, was preparing to send his annual Christmas message to Salvationists around the world. In those days, communication was by telegraph, and you paid for each word that you sent. Times were tough and the Army was short on money, so William Booth sent a one-word telegram. The word he sent was: OTHERS.

When you live for self

You will remain on the shelf

But when you live for others

You will progress further

The gifts of God in you

Is not just for you

It is to bless others

Lift them, make them better

You are not called to everyone

But you are called to someone

You’re not called to run every race

But there is a race you’re called run.

So find and follow your vision

Face and fulfil that vision.

Seek the glory of God

And your work will be done.

Be the First- The Best

Be the First- The Best

Hit the ground running

There’s no time to waste

Press, keep on pushing.

King’s business needs haste.

Lift, turn every stone

All hands be on deck

Know you’re not alone

Let theTurkeyspeck.

See the vast ocean

See the Promised Land

See beyond the seen

See stars like sand

Run, go for  gold

Not the second best

Refuse to be cold

Be the First – The BEST!

23   Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, And attend to your herds; prov27:23

24                     For riches are not forever, Nor does a crown endure to all generations.

24   The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labor. Prov12:24

4     He who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the diligent makes rich. Prov10:4

5     The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, But those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty. Prov21:5

29                     Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men. Prov22:29

Jesus Heals Blind Bartimaeus

46   Now they came toJericho. As He went out ofJericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging.

47   And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

48   Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

49   So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.”

50   And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus.

51   So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.”

52                     Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road. Mark10:46-52

Spurgeon Sparks- faith

2 Samuel 23:5

Yet He hath made with me an everlasting covenant

“Faith standeth in God’s power, and is robed in God’s majesty; it weareth the royal apparel, and rideth on the King’s horse, for it is the grace which the King delighteth to honour.”

Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe

“It is a most blessed thing to have no props and no buttresses, but to stand upright on the Rock of Ages, upheld by the Lord alone”

For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek Him; but His power and His wrath is against all them that forsake Him.”—Ezra 8:22.

Constant Unchanging Covenant

“How sweet amidst all the uncertainties of life, to know that “the foundation of the Lord standeth sure,” and to have God’s own promise, “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.” Like dying David, I will sing of this, even though my house be not so with God as my heart desireth.”

“ No man can make a song in the night of himself; he may attempt it, but he will find that a song in the night must be divinely inspired.”

Immeasurable Love

John 15:9

As the Father hath loved Me, so have I loved you.

As the Father loves the Son, in the same manner Jesus loves His people. What is that divine method? He loved Him without beginning, and thus Jesus loves His members. “I have loved thee with an everlasting love.” You can trace the beginning of human affection; you can easily find the beginning of your love to Christ, but His love to us is a stream whose source is hidden in eternity. God the Father loves Jesus without any change. Christian, take this for your comfort, that there is no change in Jesus Christ’s love to those who rest in Him. Yesterday you were on Tabor’s top, and you said, “He loves me:” to-day you are in the valley of humiliation, but He loves you still the same. On the hill Mizar, and among the Hermons, you heard His voice, which spake so sweetly with the turtle-notes of love; and now on the sea, or even in the sea, when all His waves and billows go over you, His heart is faithful to His ancient choice. The Father loves the Son without any end, and thus does the Son love His people. Saint, thou needest not fear the loosing of the silver cord, for His love for thee will never cease. Rest confident that even down to the grave Christ will go with you, and that up again from it He will be your guide to the celestial hills. Moreover, the Father loves the Son without any measure, and the same immeasurable love the Son bestows upon His chosen ones. The whole heart of Christ is dedicated to His people. He “loved us and gave Himself for us.” His is a love which passeth knowledge. Ah! we have indeed an immutable Saviour, a precious Saviour, one who loves without measure, without change, without beginning, and without end, even as the Father loves Him! There is much food here for those who know how to digest it. May the Holy Ghost lead us into its marrow and fatness!

C.H. Spurgeon

We have seen his glory. John 1:14

The Bible says: ‘The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came…full of grace and truth.’ To know the Lord Jesus Christ personally is to love Him, to love Him is to serve Him, and to serve Him is to experience life’s highest joy and fulfilment. An unknown author wrote the following poem about Jesus. If you know Him as your Lord and Saviour it will resonate in your heart. If you don’t, it’s our prayer you will want to accept Him today as your Lord and Saviour: ‘I walked life’s way with an easy tread, had followed where comforts and pleasures led; until one day in a quiet place, I met the Master face to face. With station and rank and wealth for my goal, much thought for my body but none for my soul; I entered to win in life’s mad race, when I met the Master face to face. I met Him, and knew Him, and blushed to see that His eyes full of sorrow were fixed on me. And I faltered and fell at His feet that day, while my castles melted and vanished away. Melted and vanished, and in their place, naught else did I see but the Master’s face; And I cried aloud, ‘O, make me meet, to follow the steps of Thy wounded feet.’ My thought is now for the souls of men; I have lost my life to find it again; e’er since one day in a quiet place, I met the Master face to face.’
